This is a series of threads about fakebois and trans-identified females (TIFs).

TIFs are girls and women who take on the 'trans' label to any extent, including undergoing ("gender-affirming") surgery under that label.

"Fakebois" are girls who pretend to be boys, either by becoming TIFs or larping biological males through the screen (classic move). Fakebois usually style and present themselves as androgynous or feminine-looking boys, or wearing girls' clothing and make-up while insisting on being addressed with he/him (or occasionally they/them) pronouns and take great offense at being gendered as female.

These threads are also now a catch-all for any minor TIF cows without threads of their own. Even "serious" troons, (like Kalvin Garrah and Ellen Page) are fair game, as are horrific troon surgeries and pregnancies. Just remember to spoiler that shit.

Additionally, occasional discussion of fujoshis is fine, but don't sperg and infight about it. Report and ignore bait.

Yeah, I’m a zoomer and practically every fujo girl I know has been through a trans phase/is a tif. Thankfully I think the tide is turning on it as I’ve seen more and more girls I know being open and unashamed of being fujos and not conflating it with somehow being homophobic, and detrooning as well. Same with feminism, loads of girls I know are moving towards radfem views and away from libfem ones, despite some remnants of tirfy stuff definitely lingering around. But still, it was a massive social contagion and affected mostly ‘weird’ or unconventional girls who already felt out of place/were bullied for not fitting the ‘feminine’ standards, totally depressing. It affected me as well I’m ashamed to admit, but I’ve been peaked for years and snapped out of it long ago now.
I also think another reason why fujos specifically became a targeted demographic by troons in particular, is the fact that it’s a show of female sexuality (esp since it involves objectifying men/portraying them in an unrealistic way, rather than the other way around for once), which is something frowned upon. I agree. I don’t know how she saw the whole Aaron Bushnell situation and thought it would do anything for the cause if this wasn’t the case.
