>>929940I don't think Regina and Sarah are in the drivers seat anymore. In those leaked messages between Sarah and Lainey, Sarah says she really doesn't want to continue with the lawsuit but she signed papers saying she will not back out. Lainey says she will talk to her father (who's a lawyer in Albuquerque) to see if there's any way Sarah can get out of what ever contract she signed. Lainey's dad must not of found a loop hole because the lawsuit is still moving forward. Both Sarah and Regina are in the backseat just along for the ride now. The Haba Law Firm & Marsh Law Firm are the driving force behind the lawsuits. They knew that the girls may be wishy-washy and that's the reason they had them sign contracts promising they would see this to the end and not try to jump ship. The law firms are footing the bill because they want this win against Google, YouTube and Onision as a notch on their gun belt.
The last I've read concerning Regina & Sarah's lawsuits is -
>The parties are directed to jointly file status reports every 90 days, beginning April 15, 2024, regarding the status of the bankruptcy proceedings. So hopefully we'll get some kind of update in a month. Greg filed this bankruptcy as a stalling tactic. Its not going to make the lawsuits go away. This bankruptcy is also a preemptive move in case he loses and has to pay out. If he loses both lawsuits the combined monetary awards would be close to half a million dollars. My guess is that this is going to take a year for them to reach a conclusion. Its not a cut and dry 60 minute Law & Order episode.
One thing I'm very curious about is what became of the restraining order against Chris Hansen and Xavier von Erck. If it had been granted Greg wouldn't be able to shut up about it. It would be his "proof" that he was right and Hansen and Xavier are criminal stalkers. Since Onision hasn't tweeted or uploaded anything about the restraining order since he filed it I'm inclined to believe it was denied just like the one against Hansen and Repzion 4 years ago.
