>>2630199Looks like consoom to me (sperging over plastic). I'd be interested if no one else minds, anon!
>>2630323I just knew in my bones that these fetishistic feeling things were made by a moid and I don't know whether to feel relieved or not that they were made by a normal looking nepo woman. Glad that it's not made by a pervert, but still disturbed because who else but a weirdo would like these? It's not cute to look like children are crying from emergency wisdom tooth surgery.

>>2630418The first few threads frequently turned into massive shitshows over eating meat being bad for the planet (methane gas, pollution) vs being vegan being bad for the planet (fertilizer runoffs, agave, etc) and we had some delightful insights from people who thought that chapsticks and nice looking basics, like cute plates, were consoomerism, because you didn't need them to survive.
They turned into days long spergfests so now we link these other threads so the spergs can stop shitting up the consoom thread with their manifestos.
>>2630376Some people think crying babies are cute, I really don't know why. It's usually the type of person who sees kids as walking accessories.

Posting some videos to get the thread going. I love how vidrel literally says she never reads the blurbs, she buys books because she saw them on booktube or booktok, and that social media made her buy her first books, like that's a normal thing to say. This is why libraries exist.
>>2631788KEK we get the funniest spergs on these threads.

Honestly I don't mind an autistically fueled collection even when it's way too much. At least I then know the person really loves it and is invested for life. I find the people who get hyperfixations for a few months (or years) far worse, they KNOW they'll get tired of the thing. They KNOW they'll get rid of it all the second their brain finds another fixation, and they still spend all their money on the new fixation again and again and again.

>>2632473>Honestly I don't mind an autistically fueled collection even when it's way too much. At least I then know the person really loves it and is invested for life. I've literally only seen this with autist moids, bjdfags (who are usually autist women), or people who collect random kooky shit like some obscure plush line or decoration from 1980 not anything modern. I've seen so many anime figure collectors in their 30s-40s with hundreds or thousands of figures talk about how they want to sell everything off, I imagine it's the same in other hobbies. 20 years is better than 2 years, but it's not for life. I'd also say 20 years of consoom is frankly worse and more pathetic- young people have an excuse to be retarded and snap out of it after a few years and can consoom less later in life. Seeing a 25-50+ year old with the same irresponsible spending habits as a teenager is unfortunate, especially since there's no guarantee they'll keep anything after a few decades.
I also see this logic with young consoomers- they try to label themselves as TRUE FANS of xyz thing they want to buy and they'll love it for the rest of their life, whereas other people their age are simply doing buying for clout/trends.

>>2632680>I've literally only seen this with autist moidsayrt funny I nearly only ever see it with autist women, who tend to collect their favorite character. Most autist moids I've seen have been accidental minimalists (living in filth) because they don't give a shit how or where they live.
>I've seen so many anime figure collectors in their 30s-40s with hundreds or thousands of figures talk about how they want to sell everything offThe autists I'm talking about would never sell, the collection "investors" are a different kind of retards entirely. They're hustle-bros who blindly follow some retarded alpha-male podcast.

>>2634261Wasn't entirely sure if this was a woman's collection tbh but no scrote is collecting gojo fans. I don't understand buying so much shit if you can't even display it nicely and without looking like fucking where's waldo. And of course there's bridget figures and a stupid pomni plush. Bet the fucker hasn't engaged with most of the source material for this merch and why the fuck is there a pc stuffed away in the bottom right? Is it an autism display or storage rack? And the chibimoon box feels ominous to me (the pink box with stickers of her brooch and wand) what pink horrors is contained within that box. Also noticed picrel when I looked at the hoard again

On the one hand, buying distressed shirts could be considered the opposite of being a mindless comsoomer. On the other though, these prices goddamn. Everything has to be an opportunity for capitalism to rear its ugly head I guess.
