Started playing Paradise last night! I’m really enjoying it so far. I finished up with the blonde (Mitsugi), I really liked his dynamic with the main character. They feel like real people who snap at each other and grow and evolve. It’s also nice to see a bottom who isn’t doing the whole “ya-yamate~” thing for too long. Highlight of the route has to be the MC going into animalistic heat whenever he sees the blond, and these freaky feelings being enthusiastically reciprocated. Also the dickstomping came out of nowhere. The ending was very sweet.
Matsuda is hot so I think he’ll be my next route. I like how dependable and kind he is - both the MC and blondie in this route were equally as useless, so it will be nice to be around a man who isn’t a flop and can hold down the fort.
Don’t feel anything towards the twink, so if he turns out to be a major part of this story (which I think he might be because he feels highly suspicious), I will not be continuing & will choose to absorb the rest of the plot from you Nonas via osmosis.

I have played all 3 games and listened to the cds of my fav characters, Nanjo (he's in the fds) and Mitsugi.
I like Pil/slash games. Since Paradise they hired another writer, so their games were a little different compared to before, but I still enjoy them to the fullest and they still pull their fucked up bad endings and fetishes kek.

And Kiwame is AU, alternative universe to what happened when they went to that island.

Kishimoto's inability to write love stories only applies to his NL couples lmao I swear he made a 700 chapter manga out of the "I can fix him" trope. I'm still surprised that Gege and Fujimoto read Sleeping Dead. Maybe I'm wrong, but that seemed more like attention seeking.

It takes darker turns too but it's really light hearted in general and has sexual-goofy dark humor too and romance fluff moments. Good porn too. That's why it's still popular to this day.
Noctilucent is darker though, dark fantasy royal family lore, child abductions and human experiments, a plague going on killing people like flies, assassins etc. It reminds me of lamento and lkyt in a way.
So yeah it's not like these games don't have interesting plot and it's just porn. When they shut down they could port them with the story only, like Blood domination for example. A lot of gacha, at least otome ones get pc/switch ports nowadays because the story exists, it's not just gacha.

Finished reading Sunnyside Daycare Classmates S1. Not sure when S2 will come out but hopefully soon because I'm really invested. It's like Gurren Lagann with a mix of kill la kill and owari no seraph but has sarazanmais and kill la kills sense of humor. Meaning that it can get really ridiculous and hilarious at the most tragic moments but it still has really intriguing plot and sad things happening. I finished reading beware of the ides March. S3 finished so waiting for s4. Plot is about an ex convict gangster, having a flower shop now. But police ain't happy about it bc they still want to put him and his boss in jail and destroy his organization. Especially the chief cop he tries his best to make him confess who stabbed him and intimidate him. He brutally rapes him too. And their relationship starts like that but the cop realizes that this dude is just naive and always go with the flow and has a savior submissive complex. Cop is a schizo sociopath in general but does a full turn and becomes really pathetic, sadistic beauty style seme, but unlike him this one really cares for the uke and goes full redemption arc. He realizes how much of a piece of shit he was at first to uke but genuinely loves him and tries to make him forgive him and knows that he does not deserve him. It's really good and first time I've seen such a good redemption to a rotten piece of shit. Highly rec it.

I really needed a good redemption here because the uke is so adorable, he's really kind hearted dude. The reason he got in jail too was because he protected women, one his cousin who was about to get gang raped by her then bf, he killed him accidentally and the other saving one hostess/prostitute in the club that he worked for. So that makes him even more great in my eyes. Seme even tells him off how he always self sacrifices for people especially for women but he doesn't care he's really kind hearted and caring. It's a really good read and it'd be very distasteful and wouldn't fit if the writer just kept him getting brutally raped. The rape scenes weren't even portrayed in a way for fujocoom purposes, they were really brutal. The seme wanted to break him, not like he couldn't control himself and shit. In one it was to make him attack him and fuck up with his probation and the other, the most brutal one the same reasons but also adding that he was jealous at that time over his boss and angry that he'd get in trouble again etc. He got really fucked up when uke almost died sacrificing himself for his boss lady. That scene was peak seriously my fav, really emotional. And I really like his monologues, really well written and the character development is working out really well.

I read another story that I absolutely loved, Nerd project. Again ongoing project, s2 will start in November and one year now people seem to have suffered a cliffhanger ending, basically cut where the couple was about to get fucked.

Tl;dr he confronts his gf and he leaves but his homeless now and luckily finds an empty place on unis dorm and by luck his roommate is actually nerd dude lol. He almost gets beaten to death lol but he explains to him that he doesn't stalk him and that his luck is shit. Tl;dr nerd gives him 2 months to gtfo and find a new place but actor kun is broke so he tries his best to become friends with him.
They start to get close and nerd kun starts to develop feelings for him. Actor kun prepares for a play and that's where nerd kun starts to make out with him "pretending that he needs to help him with his play lol". Nothing too dark about it yet, but I find their chemistry really good and I like the orange flag nerd lol. Also both are trying to dominate each other it's hot to watch. But yeah last ch is a fucking CLIFFHANGER so you might want to wait on it.

I've started this yesterday, love history by willful negligence and I like the seme, he's a successful actor and really kind to others, but he's actually haraguro and very violent and supposedly sociopath he can't feel for people etc. and does have wookyung vibes. But he's not as miserable and pathetic as my one and only love wookyung, at least not 100% yet, but according to the comments those who read the novel say that he does get really pathetic in the end. What I love about him is how dirty he talks without filter and how spineless he is. Also he's extremely jealous and gets really needy and possessive when in reality he doesn't need to because he literally has everything. He's king of gaslighting and manipulation too.
The uke though, he's insufferable. While he is cute and his character and personality make 100% sense for how he acts and can't say that he didn't bring everything to him lol basically he wanted to take revenge on seme and ruin his successful career bc plot reasons.
So basically seme is holding up the whole series the uke really doesn't do it for me at all. He deserved an uke that would never love him like minhyeok or a big slut that would drag him by his finger.
He still suffers though because he's a schizo and can't tell exactly what the idiot uke wants. It's also unnecessary dragging. I almost didn't start it, but i don't regret picking it up. Just a shame that he's wasted on a mediocre series and has the innocent cute crybaby uke trope.
