Also we need to keep in mind Venus has lived under her mother's thumb her entire life. She's never had any friends, no social life, she has no life skills or sense of independence. There is probably a lot she doesn't know how to do on her own, like establishing a new bank account for instance. Additionally, setting up a new bank account doesn't help her recover the funds in her old account at all. She could be out thousands of dollars for all we know.
She was also told her entire life that her father is a terrible person. This could have extended to other family members as well. She may not be sure who she can trust right now.

Submitting billing information like this requires you to provide a physical mailing address to which they send a letter containing a confirmation code, and only once you have submitted the code in that physical letter back to them will they change your billing information. It can take weeks, and that's presuming that Venus
