I don't think Venus jas ever even considered the logistics of leaving Margo, because she probably has no desire to. I'm sure she often wishes she had friends her age or whatever, but I don't think she'd wish her freedom at the cost of being separated from her mother. I mean, assuming the marriage to Manaki was for visa reasons, Venus had a good chance of staying in Japan by going through with the marriage, and the marriage would mitigated the 'how' part of being apart from her mother, but in the end she chose (I'm assuming) not to marry Manaki and stay in Japan, and instead go with her mother.
