Transportation in my city is completely bricked because of protestfags, I'm so irritated. They're also just wandering around this side of town in groups taking up the whole sidewalk with no consideration all with the same dim smile like they really accomplished anything. Like thank you for inconveniencing everyone, I'm sure the federal government is totally going to give into your demands, it cares so much about the will of the people!

American women having children is only possible because more American women accept being abused by the entire world. I hear horror stories of American women going back to work days after birth, losing milk supply from their employer not allowing them to pump, and if it's not how the gov is set up, it's the general population. Families with babies can't exist on airplanes, buses, restaurants, etc in the US without everyone throwing a pissfit about it, also hoodrats harassing any woman they perceive as a single mom, even if it's the BABYSITTER doesn't help either. American women will have babies at any cost where as Korean women are opting out of that whole mess

They all go to every protest because they don't work or do anything else. It's the same people for every cause, trump, doge, Gaza, Ukraine, blm etc.

American women are cucked and any woman who has a kid in the US is a cuckqueen.
>culture is hostile to families omg can’t get on a plane without people getting pissy
You fucking lost me there cause that’s not true at all, what is true is parents these days are the dumbest motherfuckers and their kids are as close to retarded as you can get without actually having an extra chromosome. This does lead to people being exasperated at the sight of a family with kids because a good half the time or more those kids are not being raised at all, and they act like evil little banshees. Also anybody who takes a baby on an airplane is automatically a selfish asshole, wait until they’re old enough to understand, your air travel can be put on hold for a couple years ffs. Imagine being an infant on a plane, you’re literally torturing your child and everyone else on the plane as well. Why flying with infants isn’t considered abusive, idk, it should be. Poor babies can’t pop their ears of course they’re going to scream, I would too. I blame their stupid parents for being unable to hold off on their travel plans.

I keep seeing people online parrot this about how the news isn’t covering protests, but it’s just not true. I’m 100% sure people who say this don’t even read the news. Every single major US news outlet is covering them live. I assume people are parroting this because it allows protesters to feel like they’re doing something super important but it’s all the media’s fault for censoring it. It’s a hard pill to swallow for activist types to realize that their protests just aren’t doing anything because their protests are poorly organized and ineffective.

I can't speak for everybody, but I'm just totally burned out by protests and I think a lot of other people feel the same. They do them nearly constantly for everything and it seems to be more like a past time or for them to feel good and virtue signal than actually accomplishing anything. They also block the main streets where I live and it's just annoying. I wish these people would just get jobs or other hobbies or something. I've actually been to a couple to check them out and the people that go to them are all kind of weird and creepy too.

I feel the same, nonna. I’ve gone to several protests because my NEET friend likes to go to them and I want to be supportive because it gives her something to do, but I become more and more disillusioned by my time protesting with her. I look around me and I see antifa troons, boomer grannies, and obese white theyfabs wearing keffiyehs. This was at an anti-DOGE protest btw. I firmly support everyone’s right to protest, but these protests feel so disjointed and pointless, and I don’t even like the people I’m walking side-by-side with. I wonder if I’m becoming a bad person, but going to protests with my friend only make me feel worse about everything.

I don't doubt that but I've seen moids harass women in shops and such just because they have children, I've seen people insist we ban babies from restaurants, and demand people get their kids taken away if they fly, including telling a mom who was flying to get her child surgery she is abusive, all of this is with no context with how the children were acting). A lot of places don't have changing rooms, they're getting rid of 24 hour shops, employers fire women for reproducing, etc

Your opinions aside, the US is far from baby friendly. People see a child and assume the worst possible situation. Baby on the plane? Clearly there no other possibility than it's there to torture you. Woman with kids without a man present? Clearly she was whoring herself out to deadbeats no other explanation. Baby anywhere that's not a doctor? Evil parents abusing the children clearly you should be on house arrest apparently

I've been thinking lately that the move from children being an option to a choice, while overall good, has made it really hard for people that do make the choice. People act like it's their fault for inconveniencing everyone, because they could have chosen differently. People used to be more understanding of children in public because they were understood to be an inevitable part of life. It wasn't an option you could pick or not.
Like it or not, we need children to continue to exist as a society. Otherwise, our capitalist overlords will simply import a bunch of Indians to replace us, which is even worse than just tolerating children.(racebait)

Wrong, people used to be more understanding of children in public because parents didn’t used to let their children act like wild animals in public and children behaved themselves. Everyone has always been annoyed by parents of kids who act like fools, but sadly it’s like almost every kid nowadays is an actual gremlin unless there’s a screen in their face. It’s sad.

A bit of an off-topic tangent but It'll all come together. There is no clear culture anymore. America is a melting pot culture but there seems to be no definitive subcultures anymore. Everything is mixed together there's no punk or grunge, it's just words some kid on tiktok will use for hashtags under their OOTD video. So there really is no movement or goal of any specific group, especially among younger people. That's why you see mainly boomers and trannies with no cohesive ideology at protests now. Boomers do have a goal, they may not be as effective at getting it across anymore but they know they need to protest. The retarded kweers you see? They have no fucking idea about what they're doing or what they want. It's whatever discourse the recommendation algorithm meant to make them seethe feeds them today. That's why you see them with troon flags and keffiyehs at.. anti-musk protests? I think the next time we see a cohesive subculture emerge it's probably going to be anti-techbro. Sorry for the rant kekekek. Anyone remember this ad?

So true. Protests in America were once upon a time forces of nature, but nowadays it's like fucking anime club kek. Think of MLK Jr's "I have a dream" speech, 250,000 people attended and filled the area from the Lincoln Memorial to the Washington monument. Female suffragists were fighting against millennia of male supremacist society. Workers would strike, they would surround their factories and beat the shit out of scabs and their shitty bosses. I can only pray that we unite against techbros at this point. Also I remember that ad kek. PR disaster

This is real. everyone saying culture has become "more hostile" to kids is wrong/doesn't remember/engaging in historical revisionism. the culture has ALWAYS been unfriendly and hostile to both kids and mothers. natalists are just claiming that it's getting worse as the birthrate drops for culture war reasons.
I would even argue that kids are more protected/valued/considered in many ways. they're a lot more vulnerable in internet-related ways where the law and older generations haven't caught up to the risks. but in terms of underage drug use, underage sex, age gap relationships (older men preying on younger women), the amount of attention you're expected to give your kids, exposure of children to sex/violence/smoking in media, and a lot of related topics–things have definitely moved toward more concern and awareness for the median american family, though of course there is a lot of variability in any given kid's life. like yeah, helicopter parenting isn't great for kids, but the standard of care used to be so hands off that there was a famous PSA campaign that asked "it's 3 am. do you know where your kids are?" because it was normal not to even have that level of baseline awareness.

Muslim voters and the Palestine Pals in particular was exceptionally retarded for doing this since Trump is going to bulldoze Gaza, something Kamala was never going to do. Congrats. Honestly they might as well have not voted at all since it was a throwaway vote.

They did better under Trump's economy because they were handed Obama's economy. Literally everything that was making the economy great was all things Obama did (cheap gas, affordable housing, more jobs, etc) and what does trump do in his second term? Eliminate millions of jobs in an already failing market, make shit more expensive, etc . I don't feel bad for Republicans though, they're the ones foaming at the mouth left and right about how easy it is to "just get a better job". Since according to them all these better jobs are so easy to get and infinite why aren't they doing that?

People need to exchange information and resources, teach each other how to grow vegetables and mend and upcycle clothing. So I think based on our current system its most likely that the American people are going to have to pay more for less as a result of the tariffs, but trust that I see the vision of how it could be.

I get the idea of having access to your funds whenever you want but having a CD locks in the rate vs. the rate of a HYSA that normally goes in a downward trend. Anti-immigration, technically. Although Republicans don't oppose immigration on the basis that it's exploitative of people fleeing violence and puts downward pressure on American wages, which would be the actual pro-working class sentiment. They just hate immigration because they're xenophobic and get angry whenever a public document has Spanish on it. So it's a "broken clock is right twice a day" type thing. And Republicans don't even hold to these ideas in practice, because money of them own shares in or even personally own companies that heavily use immigrant labor.

Fun fact: there is no procedure, for any money, to remove male microchimerism from your bone marrow and brain. And if you get pozzed by old sperm, the undifferentiated fetal cells will be from a sped fetus. There's a lot of cope surrounding microchimerism and whether it's "positive", but what's undeniable is that its main job is to siphon resources from you towards the male's genome. If it helps you, it's a rare byproduct of an overwhelmingly selfish endgame.

Microchimerism from a normal moid's healthy progeny is fucking cancer, but if the fetus is from sped sperm it's truly over. This is what she looked like before. I feel so bad for her.

Hahaha, you're funny. Oh sure, a leftist guy might not expect you do dye your hair blonde or have a tiny waist. But he'll still want you to have huge boobs and a giant butt without being "too fat" in the middle, and he'll still expect you to shave your legs and underarms. He'll go around calling himself a "feminist" because you have a full time job, but he still leaves all the housework to you while he comes home and plays vidya. His idea of "liberation" is for a woman to have no sexual boundaries; he expects you to be accepting of his porn addiction and to even participate in it with him. He'll suggest shit like "opening the marriage" or swinging.

A liberal man is only marginally less shit than a conservative one. Moids have an innate desire to use and exploit us, regardless of whatever they espouse as part of their personal politics.

No wonder all right wing moids are obsessed with them. Even OF whores look less "used up" than honorable wifeys to old right wing scrotes.

The incels are instinctively correct that sex (or more broadly relations with men) "uses up" women. The part they're omitting is that monogamous commitment, pregnancy and regular obligation sex with one moid will use you up a lot more than intermittent contact with different moids.

I was raised in a Christian family, so I can tell you they are some of the most hypocritical people you can meet. Women settle for pedophiles as long as they are "in good standing with the church" and can`t escape once they get baby-trapped, and deceive young women into believing this is the happiest a woman can be. Moids are even more dangerous than atheist men, because they always try to hide their degeneracy, and the sexual repression causes them to have very weird fetishes.

Not anymore, in the US atleast. Gen Z women are now less religious than Gen Z males. Women being religious was a result of force and a lack of access to education. We have plenty of discussions about immigration without bans being issued. there's ways to discuss immigration without using it at a veil to hide more sinister intentions. Similar to how they have taken married women's right to vote and disguised it as "worried about immigration", or how the poster earlier was clearly virtue signaling and trying to deflect moids own issues in Europe because "Muslims rape too!!". Tariffs are like a government tax kind of.
> Country 1 puts them in on Country 2. Normally a percent on certain items or everything. So if it’s 15% you owe 15% of the item price to Country 1’s government.
> Country 2 makes and sells product to Country 1 consumer or company.
> Consumer or company has to pay Tariffs to government of Country 1 for Country 2’s product to get it in country.
> Consumer eats cost because it is a punishment for not buying Country 1’s products and is meant to deter you.

For example UK has some higher ones on processed foods from other countries because they want you supporting uk brands by making the price of outside food more expensive you increase the chance your citizens buy the food you want.

Washington DC and the surrounding counties in MD and VA. I love it here. Haven't driven a car in years. Our public transit isn't as extensive as NYC but it's so much cleaner, more spacious, and way less overwhelming. Plenty of bus lines too though they're slightly less reliable. Lots of beautiful neighborhoods to wander through. Most of the new buildings that are being developed are multi-use apartments and condos. Lots of free public activities and events. I lived in Europe too and this is as close as you can get to a European city experience in the US.
I live in a Maryland suburb now since it's cheaper but I'm still only a couple of minutes away from the metro and still go into the city all the time. Even here in MD, I can walk to multiple grocery stores, restaurants, cafes, and doctors offices.

While DC was out of control in the 90s with gang violence, it’s pretty safe now. Ngl, gentrification has played a role in that. There are still homeless people, but they’re generally pretty chill. I think DC is most dangerous to recent transplants that moved here from some Vermont suburb and don’t have any street-awareness. Because it’s a city in the US, you do have to be aware of your surroundings in case you encounter some foolishness or worse. Don’t be afraid to raise your voice if some creepy moid tries to harass you. There are police everywhere in DC, so they’ll get lost if you make a scene.

Even places that look amazing on paper sometimes have hidden cultural costs, like being boring as fuck or natives who are unwilling to befriend immigrants, and I get the sense that a lot of the Americans looking to move are a bit hand-wavey about the problems in their target countries, e.g. how unreliable tradies are in med countries.

If Elon/Trump actually have the balls to take gibs away from the one demographic who can be relied on to participate in government, then I will be shocked.

Not sure if this is the best thread for it, but I'm curious what other anons think about this.
Some people seem to think that this catering toward the alt-right politically and culturally is going to last through to decade, or at least through the end of this presidential term. But my thought is, if Trump continually fucks things up in obviously stupid ways to the point that even his supporters can feel the strain (which I think is likely), maybe the tide will turn near his two-year mark. Not even necessarily just because of bad policies (we know the average voter barely pays attention that shit); I think it's also gonna be a "vibe" thing. A lot of people just like Trump and co. because they think it's edgy and "counterculture", so overexposure could actually hurt the movement in that regard, make it too embarrassing/cringe or whatever.
Article in picrel contains statements from minor post-left cow Alex Kaschuta and some others: https://www.nytimes.com/2025/04/14/opinion/dissident-right-trump.html?unlocked_article_code=1._04.4PJP.MGnsroSmCEAr&smid=url-share

I think there will probably be some long lasting political shifts because of tptb, such as an end to wokeism and DEI hiring policies. However, I agree with the gist of the article that the right will not remained unified. The Republicans and the Democrats are both basically coalitions of different groups that have no other choice than to unite because of our two party system, and while Trump has purged the government of his detractors for now, I don’t think the MAGA coalition will outlive Trump’s presidency since he’s cultivated it entirely around himself.

1. Less tainted by money from pacs and special interest groups.
2. To actually get an agenda accomplished you need a broad base of support in congress. It's not getting one guy in. It's building up a power base that takes several elections to flush away.
People have this fantasy of Bernie getting in and starting all these new programs but the truth is it would just look like Trumps first term, lots of hot air and then quietly acquiescing to the respective "establishment" priorities. The only reason he can get away with such aggressive action this time is he has the backing of a slim majority of congress.

>green gumbo is superior to brown gumbo
Legit the brown one that cajuns eat is gross. I’ll never understand how they psyoped the general public into believing theirs is the real gumbo and creole gumbo is somehow “not gumbo” because it has tomatoes or even no roux sometimes. And before anyone comes at me about rouxless gumbo, there’s old creole cookbooks with rouxless gumbo recipes from like the 1920s.

Also people who make red beans and rice without a roux need to be hung sorry

You think that’s bad? I went to a Georgia Popeyes (big mistake. Never go to a Popeyes outside of southeast Louisiana). Those fuckers gave me red beans and rice but no rice. Who does that?

The number’s pretty high actually. If all those ~25% of working Americans were in factories than the US would be comparable to China in terms of manufacturing jobs.

Cajun food that is not on the coast or made by someone from Louisiana is gonna suck ass. I use to dorm with a girl from Louisiana and that food is life changing. Also even other cuisines seem to be better in Louisiana. Like Asian and Mexican food just hits different in Louisiana

Yeah, i don't really understand the people acting like it's a le epic own when it's actually a high number. Most people don't want to be farmers either but that doesn't mean it's not a good job that should exist

I would love to have a job that doesn’t involve interacting with the public but it would need to be something safe. Definitely would not want to work in a Teflon factory for example, ‘cause that stuff is very toxic. The state I live in used to have tons of textile mills and those buildings are filled with lead and asbestos

I’ve lived in Louisiana all my life so it was a pretty big culture shock to find that other states have terrible Cajun food. Do they even have Louisiana creole food outside of Louisiana? I only ever hear about shitty Cajun food from other states.

Same but the worst part is those factories are old and they let the safety standards slip away. If if American manufacturing can come back safer and greener than overseas slave labor then the pr campaign can convince people at least

This would mean republicans actually care for workers rights instead of just screaming "just get a better job"

went to a political debate being held on my campus. was thrilled to see the sliver of female representation among the speakers: a man dressed in a skirt and white foundation he couldn’t even be bothered to blend down his neck. forced myself to sit and listen but was so moved when red-faced frog-throated aiden got up with supporting anecdotes that I found no other option but to stand and promptly remove myself. a proper shitshow, ladies.
