What's a good way to resell one-off items? I have access to a lot of low-priced trend items (think nail art, accessories, kawaii stuff, stationery, gimmick electronics) but not on a regular basis and not enough to start a presence, gain followers and establish a brand. And usually just 1 item each. Do I just sell them on ebay? Or Depop? I've never used that one. TL;DR where do normies go for impulse shopping

Feel free to point me towards a better thread for this, I considered the anti-consoom thread but I don't want to derail.

taxi companies often the cars which they then lease to drivers, or they pay the drivers directly. actual delivery companies usually own the vehicles( not doorfash and shit but the ond fashioned ones). they both employ the drivers.
by contrast uber only owns the app, the drivers are self employed, the only service uber performs is to match the drivers with clients and provide a pyament platform, so it's all on the tech end.

You multiply 1/2 by 2 to isolate X.
>2 . (1/2) = 1
>When you have two halves it equals a whole, right?
>Simplifies the left hand to 1X
>1X can be written as X
>Whatever you do on one side of the equation has to be done to the other
>Left was multiplied by 2 so right side needs to be multiplied by 2 as well
> 4 . 2 = 8, right?
>left side is already simplified to X
>X = 8
Reposted with hopefully better formatting

No. 2481135

>>2481095
I'm not a math nerd but you need to isolate the x, and to do so, you get rid of whatever is on its side by using its opposite. The opposite of ½ is 2. Because it's 2/1. So you multiply both halves by 2. 2/1 × ½ nullify each other and leave the x alone. You do the same on the other side of the equation/of the =, so you multiply the 4 by 2, and get 8. So x=8

It does legitimately work on some people, others are immune to hypnosis. If you are autistic you are almost certainly immune. Same with EMDR, though EMDR does work on more people than hypnosis, which is why so many dumbasses treat it like it’s completely revolutionary and can’t believe it doesn’t actually work on everyone. There was a hypnotist on a cruise I went on and people were invited to come up to be hypnotized as a group, but before he started hypnotizing people he did an elimination round and me an my autist ex were immediately told to get off the stage KEK

2/2 is two halves nonnie, that equals 1 so it's simplified. 6/3 is also just equal to 2, so it's basically just like saying 2x=9. For example, if you had something more inconvenient like 3/5x, you would multiply by 5 to make it 15/5 to simplify to 3. The purpose of multiplying the fraction is to make it into a whole number so it's easier to work with

I always thought I was a retard when it came to math but you make me feel like I really do have the super genius IQ I supposedly have. Somehow I regained “all” (maybe) mental function and my organs are all back to normal with no permanent injuries. Defying the medical community is my specialty. I still feel bad for my family, apparently watching me go from drooling non responsive tard and slowly rebooting over the course of a few days was really traumatic. At one point I was singing Barney songs with them like a preschooler and they were overjoyed that I wasn’t going to be a vegetable and would be more like an eternal preschooler. Yeah I think so too. I have really weird amnesia-like symptoms where I regularly am in and out of sleep all day and then completely forget I spent the previous day going through the motions of my chores and continually going back to bed in between, and will genuinely forget I essentially lost a day and just think “yesterday” was the last day I wasn’t in NPC mode. It’s problematic cause I apparently don’t eat on those days and it’s hard to convince me to and all I’ll get for myself is like a glass of milk. Sometimes I’ll eat food if it’s thrust before me already prepared but even then sometimes I’m like no I’m not hungry. I legitimately do not remember these happenings. My mom started recording me on my weird days to prove to me the next day that a whole extra day has gone by that I didn’t remember happening because I was arguing with her about it and getting genuinely confused.

I would start by taking out all of the stuffing and giving them a nice little warm water bath with some detergent. Softly agitate the water with your hands but don’t scrub them or anything, you just want to loosen up any dirt or clumps that might be in their fur. Wring our the excess water by hand and let them air dry. Once they’re dry, I would very carefully and slowly start working through the fur with something like a slicker brush. Don’t force it if it doesn’t want to budge but hopefully between the bath and the brush it will fluff up the fur and let you brush out the pilling. Unfortunately putting faux fur and Sherpa in the dryer will result in the fibers matting and even melting together, so if that’s the case with your plushies they may never look brand new, but the steps above shouldn’t hurt them necessarily. You can add a bit of fabric softener to their bath too to help brush out the mats, it’s worth a shot.

Yes. I don't know how to describe it without sounding too vulgar but esp when I ovulate I get immense cravings to perform oral because I get pleasure from the act itself. It's not about enjoying my partner's pleasure even though that is a part of it, but I just find the smell, taste, mouthfeel arousing and pleasurable. It's like foreplay for me cause it gets me going more than anything. I don't think it's a learned behavior because I used to fantasize about it even before having experienced it.
Funny thing is that I'm bi but I don't get the craving to perform for men at all.

I actually tried to search for some specific things yesterday and I wouldn't say it's the most expensive ones but rather those who pay for their listing to be promoted first, larger stores second, and maybe like 8~ normal listings randomly. You can find more things if you click a listing and scroll down where it actually shows you other related listings instead of like 5 pages of vaguely related promoted items.
It's more like Ebay shows listings where sellers pay the most fees (I know sellers who upgrade to larger stores pay technically less fees but imagine the amount of sales). Reverse expensive

Does crying ruin your face?
Ive been in a situation where Ive been crying pretty much everyday for a year, like uglyface wailing kind of crying.
After crying my face is flared up and feels like burning.. My face would stay like that for a few days and heal bavk then, until it just doesnt anymore. Now I have a permanent crying discolored rashy frowny face.

I didnt use to wash my face after crying but now I always immediately do. What else can I do to reverse this?

Crying shouldn’t ruin your face kek. I used to cry all day everyday for months and would sometimes wail so much I’d get petechiae all around my eyes. A routine skincare routine is important so if you don’t have one just get one and you’ll look fine. Not having a skincare routine as you age will make you look haggard even if you aren’t wailing as your main hobby. Eye creams with caffeine are a good idea if you’re someone who cries a lot cause the caffeine reduces the puffy undereye affect.

I ask this because when I see highly productive people I wonder how many of them are up against the same amount of friction as I am but they're just stronger and can overcome it and how many of them just wake up motivated to take on the world. There are rare but very blessed days where I wake up and have a natural desire to go to the gym, pick up extra shifts, etc and it makes me wonder if some people are just operating with this as their default.

I feel like most people that stay productive have just made it a routine, they don't rely on motivation. They feel off if they don't spend their time doing something that has become a habit and in a lot of cases they've been that way since childhood. I struggle as much as you do which is why I've tried to figure it out myself and that seemed to be the one thing productive people have in common. Maybe Atomic Habits could help you but it's really difficult to stick to tasks and turn them into routines if you don't feel like doing anything and have no outside pressure

I'll speak from experience and say it was mostly a way to validate my feelings. It's sounds cheesy and dumb but when you have experienced a lot of emotional abuse and neglect in your formative years you will probably be juggling a lot of thoughts that mimic the abuse you went through. Think shit like "This other victim had it worse because they went through xyz and you didn't". I knew I was in pain but any attempt I gave trying to explain the cause was immediately shot down by myself because it wasn't bad enough or even a problem to begin with. I started cutting when I was around 10 or 11 and it made me feel good because it was "proof" that I had been hurting, and that everything I have gone through wasn't fake or whatever. This made it difficult to quit because when those scars would fade I would immediately panic and think that nothing was wrong even when it still was. Que self harm cycle. It's a retarded coping mechanism but I do empathise those that actually struggle with it (quietly, obviously), it goes without saying that therapy would have been much more helpful than self harm.

For some people it's diet (removing foods that fuck up their hormone balance, ime this is more crucial than calories) and for others it's activity. If you develop muscle or gain weight easily, you probably need to be more active. If you have smaller muscles but feel tired/depressed no matter what, your diet might be fucking up your hormones imo. I don't think anyone should be restricting what they eat, hunger can be a sign of bacterial imbalance (I get hungry on a full stomach if I eat chocolate, bc it fucks up my healthy gut flora) or a psychological trigger. The people more genetically equipped to handle a diet with sugar/dairy, are usually not actually experiencing hunger and just eating out of boredom/habit. They just need to replace that activity with something else

one thing that might have happened is that the salt for secure trips might have leaked, which would theoretically make cracking them slightly more possible. but the biggest issue is all the personal security implications for the staff.

People who are in their early to mid 20s thought 22 was ancient just a few years ago so now they're desperate to prove they aren't ancient and still down with the kids.

People who are in their early 30s also consume the same media as teens, they often still live at home and/or don't have a stable income and family. They're still in the "child" role in their house and family. Their lives haven't changed much from 18 to 30 so they get treated the same. Older adults around them still see them the same too. Well firstly nothing on edtwt is reflective of a genuine eating disorder kek, everyone on there is 14 years old and larping all kinds of mental illnesses. That being said there's an unspoken hierarchy. An anorexic isn't going to call a bulimic a lard-ass but a bulimic would likely feel inferior to an anorexic. Some anorexics do b/p so they are a lot sympathetic than you'd imagine, but the restrictive types aren't cruel. I mentioned that everyone on edtwt larps, and you'll notice they all claim to have anorexia instead of BED or OSFED. That's another example of the hidden hierarchy because instead of just admitting what you really struggle with they would rather have the "desirable" illness that paints them as the daintiest waif.

I've never been NEET and it really depends on your situation, but something that is often overlooked when it can be really helpful is voluntary work. I did some voluntary tutoring and it was nice.

I think volunteering 1-2 days a week is easier than most other options. It depends on what's available in your area.

Imo it's good because :
- Giving up doesnt have that much consequences. Like, if you call in your voluntary structure to say "I can't come today I'm too tired", you won't get in trouble as you would an obligatory class or a job
- The people "hiring" voluntary workers will necessarily be happy to have you around, the risk for rejection is pretty low
- You'll have something to talk about with your coworkers, like you have this default topic which is the voluntary work. "The kids are really calm today compared to last time!". So that's less intimidating than having to cold approach people or whatever.
- It will build your self-confidence. You're doing something good.
- You can put it on your resume later on and seem like a good person
- You can do only one day a week, which isn't too extreme of a sift from NEETdom
- It's free

A type of voluntary work wwhere you're around your coworkers and working in a team is ideal (tutoring was not ideal because I'd spend most time with the kids and not with coworkers my age)
That was my 2 cents.

Other obvious options are registering for uni, some class for a sport or knitting or whatever, getting a job. You can also try meeting friends on bumble, or meeting up with online friends if you have some, but to me those are less durable than "institutionalized" approaches where you've signed up for something.

I'm sorry because this is bloggy-long and very stupid question: How can you tell the difference between age related decline and manipulation? Let me explain, my grandma is very old and is starting to lose some of her sharpness this is undeniable. But before she started to go, she was extremely observant and socially adept and (if I'm being completely honest) the most manipulative person I have ever met in my life. She still is even though she's slowed down a lot. I go over to her house a few times every week and help her out, and I can see that she has some good days and some bad days, but never anything where I would feel unsafe leaving her alone for the night. Despite her age, she gets along well for herself and is fiercely independent.

Cue every time my parents come to town to visit and they give weird reports. Like Grandma not remembering where her silverware goes (weird because she's always instructing me where to put it and corrects me when I do it wrong). I have also seen her around them and she acts different than when she's around me: Extra forgetful, trouble hearing even with working aids, more wobbly than usual, etc. I genuinely can't tell if she's just having all of her worst days when they're around, or if she's playing it up as a way to tell my parents that they need to stop dragging their ass and get her in-home help already. Has anynonny been in a similar situation and could you tell the difference? Does the why even matter or do I just need to act accordingly and double down to my parents that they needed to get her help months ago and now it's extra necessary? Thanks in advance nonna, you're wonderful.

Is it the NEETdom or being a shut-in that you wish to get out of? I've been a NEET on and off for years but have always been kind of a shut-in/no-social-life-haver even when I had a job so I can only give some advice on that. For NEETdom you probably know the answer already though, you have to get a job or go back to school. Getting a degree takes a lot of energy, time and motivation so I personally wouldn't recommend it if you're not sure about it because school can cost a lot of money and it would be a waste if you drop out. I recommend working because there are a lot of ''easy'' jobs out there and most workplaces have paid trial periods for a week/month so if you end up hating it, it will be no big deal if you quit. A job where you don't have to interact a lot with people/coworkers would be the best so you'll be able to slowly get used to having a routine and being around people in the outside world again. If you're lucky, you might have cool coworkers and be able to befriend them. Working in a factory or something sounds and can be utterly soul crushing but I personally felt like it was a good environment to get used to ''normal'' life again. You will feel dead tired and maybe depressed about the repetetive tasks and days will start to blend together but it can give you motivation to start working more on your (social) skills and get you to better places in the future, maybe it can give you the motivation/confidence to pursue a degree. The money that comes with having a job is also nice ofcourse. Be proud of the accomplishments you have achieved so far and don't be too hard on yourself if things get difficult. Wishing you lots of luck nonna, you can do it.

What actually is facism? From what I read it seems pretty bound to WW2? Or is it just like a dictator that rearranges things so they need to and are optimized to be at war all the time? Can it occur in the west again without another major war

No. 2489257

>>2489173
The core of fascism is the belief that supporting companies will help the economy.
So low profit tax, the least amount of regulations and complete ban on trade unions is what makes fascism.
This is also why the fascists hate communists so much, since the communists think that, for a good economy, the state should support the workers rather than the companies.
All the other stuff, like interventionism (i.e. wanting to always have wars) or authoritarianism or even being racist are not inherently fascist.
The average germanic tribe was interventionist, authoritarian (if it had a warchief) and racist, but it wasn't fascist. No companies, no taxes, no unions, so no fascism.

Why do Baby Boomers seem to have no taste for movies before their time? Not even before their time, but before their 20s or even 30s. In my personal life I've never seen one bother with any movie from before 1965, or even before 1970 for a lot of them, and they all speak of old movies from before then with a tone of total contempt. They grew up with old cowboy movies and seeing John Wayne, but as adults seem to have zero nostalgia for those films.

Contrast that with Millennials, and even older zoomers, who grew up watching 80s movies from before their time, and remember them fondly, and still soyface over them hard. 1980 is as far away from the present as 1935 is to 1980.

Was stuff like Casablanca and The Shop Around the Corner playing on TV all the time in the 1980s? It just seemed like the late 1960s was a hard cultural reset and for that generation, they put away their childhood to a degree Millennials never did, to a point where they don't even venture into that territory at all for nostalgia.

Like I'm sure some of it is young people are peter pan syndrome man-children who can't move on, but at the other end it's a bit unusual that all the fondness boomers have for culture comes from their early adult life instead of childhood. It's like the late 1960s as a hard cultural reset and they dropped everything from before that time.

What non-skincare things do you do to keep your skin as clear as possible? Anything doing with diet, supplements, habits and exercise. I drink plenty of water and avoid gluten, soy and dairy already

No. 2490949

>>2490937
Wtf did gluten and soy do to you? Gluten is just plant protein, while soy doesn't affect human hormones in the slightest. That aside, you need to eat a balanced diet of protein, vegetables and healthy complex carbohydrates that can balance your hormones. Change and wash your pillowcase at least once a week, sleep for 8 hours a day at night, avoid too much sun exposure by wearing hat and sunglasses, never sleep with makeup on and always wash it and remove it, don't touch and rub your face, manage stress, beware of the shampoo you're using not affecting your face somehow.

Thanks, nonny. Just ruling out sensitivities. Eating a lot of soy has made my acne worse

No. 2491138

>>2491070
No problem! In that case, cut off sugar and replace it with fruits and artificial sweeteners, since white sugar is bad for you in general but also probably messes up hormones and would make acne worse. I never had issues with gluten and soy personally so I didn't think of sensitivity and allergy. But I definitely understand the dairy angle. One more thing, gut health is very important and is correlated with facial acne so be aware of that and take care of your gut by eating probiotics.

In all seriousness:
>make the moids hot, but realistically so (no DCU muscle hypertrophy unless it's appropriate)
>interesting storylines. good writing in general will net more female fans
>make the women hot in ways that appeal to women. try to avoid common coomer tropes (this is admittedly hard because moids seem to make everything into a coomer trope)
>characters that "feel" real. obv. none of us know folks who can shoot lasers from their eyeballs (I hope), but it's good if everything else about laser eye guy feels like a real person you could be friends/enemies/etc. with.
>don't go too hard with girl power rhetoric. show, don't tell.

>a wealthy New Jersey real estate developer, later sent to Federal prison on political corruption charges, paid Harvard $2.5 million to help ensure admission of his completely under-qualified son.8 When we consider that Harvard’s existing endowment was then at $15 billion and earning almost $7 million each day in investment earnings, we see that a culture of financial corruption has developed an absurd illogic of its own, in which senior Harvard administrators sell their university’s honor for just a few hours worth of its regular annual income, the equivalent of a Harvard instructor raising a grade for a hundred dollars in cash.

>An admissions system based on non-academic factors often amounting to institutionalized venality would seem strange or even unthinkable among the top universities of most other advanced nations in Europe or Asia, though such practices are widespread in much of the corrupt Third World. The notion of a wealthy family buying their son his entrance into the Grandes Ecoles of France or the top Japanese universities would be an absurdity, and the academic rectitude of Europe’s Nordic or Germanic nations is even more severe, with those far more egalitarian societies anyway tending to deemphasize university rankings.

>…This perhaps explains why so many sons and daughters of top Chinese leaders attend college in the West: enrolling them at a third-rate Chinese university would be a tremendous humiliation, while our own corrupt admissions practices get them an easy spot at Harvard or Stanford, sitting side by side with the children of Bill Clinton, Al Gore, and George W. Bush.

>Although the relative importance of these individual factors behind Jewish academic decline is unclear, the decline itself seems an unmistakable empirical fact, and the widespread unawareness of this fact has had important social consequences.

There's a lot about how by all measures jewish educational ability has declined significantly and nobody is really talking about it. Most of the mythology of high jewish academic achievement comes from the 1970s. Asian Americans are eating their lunch anywhere there's actual meritocracy in achievement, like math Olympiads and the SAT.

>However, if we separate out the Jewish students, their ratio turns out to be 435 percent, while the residual ratio for non-Jewish whites drops to just 28 percent, less than half of even the Asian figure. As a consequence, Asians appear under-represented relative to Jews by a factor of seven, while non-Jewish whites are by far the most under-represented group of all, despite any benefits they might receive from athletic, legacy, or geographical distribution factors. The rest of the Ivy League tends to follow a similar pattern, with the overall Jewish ratio being 381 percent, the Asian figure at 62 percent, and the ratio for non-Jewish whites a low 35 percent, all relative to their number of high-ability college-age students.

>My casual mental image of today’s top American students is based upon my memories of a generation or so ago, when Jewish students, sometimes including myself, regularly took home a quarter or more of the highest national honors on standardized tests or in prestigious academic competitions; thus, it seemed perfectly reasonable that Harvard and most of the other Ivy League schools might be 25 percent Jewish, based on meritocracy. But the objective evidence indicates that in present day America, only about 6 percent of our top students are Jewish, which now renders such very high Jewish enrollments at elite universities totally absurd and ridiculous. I strongly suspect that a similar time lag effect is responsible for the apparent confusion in many others who have considered the topic.

It's a paradox, because jews are still overrepresented even when they're performing poorly. Episcopal whites are actually smarter now but have still had their numbers decline in the institutions they founded.

I literally think the /pol/ stuff about jewish nepotism and cheating might be true in the case of the Ivy Leagues.

It has negative connotations to most people except to the titular boymoms who wear that title like a badge of honor, just like I've seen some not very smart women call their pet moid "baby daddy" when everybody knows it's a negative term.

No. 2494193

It does but I think the product usage of "boy mom" is used the same as "girl mom" or "girl/boy dad", it's just parents identifying themselves based on the sex of their children. To childless people it might seem weird but boys and girls are socialized differently and thus will have some social differences while growing up, and it's just common sense that your parenting experience will be different based on the sex of your child, so it's like an internet savvy parent version of horoscopes I guess.

8:30-9:30 pm are normal bedtimes for children anon. There are young zoomer women reminiscing about staring at the wall for hours, bc their wino parents sent them to bed way too early. School aged children need about 9 hrs sleep, if you're not allowed to leave your room until a certain time the next morning, they can be stuck in their room for 12-14 hours every single day. If someone will be awake the next morning at 6:30am when the child is rested after a 7:30-8:30pm bedtime, then it's nbd. The problem is that the type of parent who does this doesn't want to acknowledge they are being irresponsible, so the kid goes to bed early and wakes up late (around the time the parent does). If the kid gets up hours earlier and tries to find food/water/entertainment, this makes the lazy parent feel bad and guilty, so they don't usually allow them to do that

NAYRT but I remember 9pm max was the bedtime when I was a child. I think anything earlier is for very young children whose sleep schedules can be pretty erratic to begin with, also usually they have naptimes in the afternoons so it sounds like 'professional' child-rearing practice errs on the side of more sleep than less. iirc there's some old wives' tale (not sure if this is actually backed up by anything real) that says young kids do most of their growing while asleep, too, so the idea that it's good for them (not just the parent) has been around for a while.
I definitely stayed up reading under the covers with a flashlight at various times like >>2495196 suggests, though, so it's not like a child above a certain age doesn't have some level of control over when they actually choose to sleep.

I unironically had a 7.30 bedtime my entire childhood, up until the age of 17 (When I rebelled against it), and it was 100% just so Mom could watch her slop shows without kids around.

So I started waking up at 4-5AM, because what can you do but get up at that time? 8pm to 4am is still 8 hours sleep. So I'd be watching TV, playing video games, reading or just playing around the house at that time. Then I'd be screamed at when she woke up about how "no other parent has to deal with such horrible children that wake up this early".

I think the best way is to have a no screens policy after 7pm or so, let kids just draw, play around, read, etc and they'll naturally drift off to sleep around 9pm or so. The only way kids can really stay up too late is if they have tech stimulation keeping them awake.

I don't think it really did much harm to be honestly. It's certainly not something I get butthurt about. As a teenager the kids at school who were doomscrolling all night were just napping through Math class, they were the ones more harmed. As a young teenager you can just suck up all that sleep, ages 13-17 you could sleep for 10 hours a night in my experience.

Do you have "odd" encounters when out of the house? Not like, akward conversations, more like someone acting weird with you. For example, we went with my brothers for icecream and the girl who served me two cups just watched me in silent with a weird smile and kept direc eye contact with me as she walked backwards. As if I was the weird one or something. And I'm the plainest woman in the world, and I literally just went to grab the icecream. But it's not the first time I'm treated as weird by random extrangers, and everyone around me tells me I'm not weird. So I'm wondering if this type of interactions are more common and people just don't talk about it.

It was forbidden (see Old Testament Leviticus 11) but you have to understand that the banning of pork meat was more likely cultural and a way to prevent diseases, since most western countries didnt have alternative livestock than pig or goat meat it slowly became acceptable, pork can still be eaten by muslims if theres nothing else to be consumed but it's only allowed in survival situations.

Males are the ones who are physically optimized for physical violence, women are sadly physically optimized for making babies. But it also makes sense because XYs are not really important for the survival of the species, so nature has found a way to take out the week ones or at least make them compete for women. Same reason why women are smaller and have higher percentage of body fat. It is not common for males of reproductive age to kill/hurt females of reproductive age in nature, so women didn't really need to develop stronger jaws/grow beards. Also talking out of my ass btw.

That is not what is it about. Men are good at violence because they are optimized for self interest. Violence is what you need to survive on your own.
Being optimized for making babies means being optimized to serve other people's interests. Even though women have same spiritual needs as men, the nature is cockblocking us from truly ever exercising them due to inherently violent nature of nature(pardon the tautology). Being born a woman is being born a loser in the universal biological war for personal space.

Females (of all gestating organisms) are stabbed by a stronger specimen in order to be infected with his parasitic spawn carrying both 100% of risk and responsibility. In hermaphrodites it is actual warfare who gets stab who first, none willfully chooses to be the gestator. Even in humans, gestation is still war - just between the fetus and woman(s immune system). Everyone wants their reproduction to be cheap. Only losers have to bear the burden because they are in fact losers. Different sexes literally only exist to optimize the principle of gestator losing - cutting out the actual fight and going straight to just making 50% of population slave incubators by default.

>female height is also because of the advantage of having a shorter and wider pelvis in delivering babies, while having a narrower pelvis is more advantageous for walking upright
>due to these males outperform women in most physical sports and also literally kill women
>uhhhhh noooo women die during birthing, so there is no correlation or prioritizing!
What you are saying literally proves exactly the opposite. The female body is willing to risk death, because having offspring is the end goal(for men and women). I am saying these things, because recognizing how our biology holds us back is essential to understanding why women have been oppressed for thousands of years. It IS literally because men are better at physical violence and also more violent. Nature is willing to take collateral damage if it means the survival of the species.

No. 2497384

>>2497359
I agree. Nature's number one goal is reproduction. There are species where the parents die after laying and fertilizing their eggs, the mother dies after laying her eggs. The fetus is literally a parasite that feeds off the mother, her body diverts resources away from her to the fetus growing inside because her body cannot handle supporting two people, this isn't positive for the woman and you can see the negative aftermath of pregnancy on women (hair loss, heavy bleeding, spinal pain, mental health decline, etc.) Women literally have to "recover" after giving birth. Nature does not make giving birth easy because the host isn't the priority. If humans ever got past their primitive link to nature, we'd find a way to incubate humans outside of a woman's body. your immune system is literally suppressed in order to not recognise the foetus as an invasion and attack it… which would result in a miscarriage.
i don’t see reproduction so negatively - aren’t there more males that die after their use is up than females? either by being consumed by the female, dying after insemination or just having shorter lifespans.
it’s human females in particular that have it so bad since the large heads are so hard to pass. the mortality rate is unusually high because of this even though our hips have widened to compensate. but regardless, i don’t think you can argue that the foetus isn’t very parasite-like by nature and is treated as such by the body.

My mom puts me and my sister down any chance she gets in public and finds herself talking to another woman. She'll say that having girls is hell, which is not only such a self-own NPC opinion, but it's even retarded in context because her sister has a son and he has consistently been so much more trouble in the family than the daughter ever was. So I don't even know what great reference my mom personally has to go off of for daughters being more annoying than sons, because I don't have any brothers, and my dumbass male cousin is the closest thing she has to a son. On one hand, I agree that moms don't get enough respect in society, however moms also shoot themselves in the foot when they blatantly disrespect their own daughters for the normie "I hate women and I'm a woman" meme. This bitch wonders why we almost never hang out and have "muh deep talks". You can't even keep good vibes during light talks, what makes you think I'd wanna do "deep talks"?

It’s kind of disconcerting because sometimes it happens in a constricted period of time (this time 2 inches in like 3 months) and I’m a regular shut-in so I’m just randomly taller the next time I leave the house. It’s also just freaky to feel taller after years of forgetting what it feels like to grow. I’m reading up about it and what you’re describing is giganticism, a pituitary gland tumour that produces excess growth hormone. It causes abnormally tall height in growing children and large hands, feet, and face. In adults the corresponding disorder is acromegaly, and it doesn’t induce any height changes, just growth in the aforementioned areas. In my case my hands and feet have stayed the same size since I was 12 and are quite narrow, as has my face and jaw which is much smaller than average so it doesn’t really sound like it.
Maybe I should still see the doctor though…

Do you think a thread on white nationalism and race realism would go down okay on /ot/? Not so much to go "lol BIPOCs", but share old perspectives on these issues from people like Stoddard and just look at history from a race realist perspective.

Also there's a surprising amount of homosexuals on the far right. I thought Nick Fuentes was an outlier but so many homosexuals are chuds. The most famous French one, Renaud Camus, who wrote "The Great Replacement", was some prolific gay writer in the 1970s that used to write about being sodomized by Arabs.

Used to be that people pretty much only got them as kids and if you missed that window of opportunity (usually due to cost) that was it, game over. Bad teeth forever. Dentists and orthodontists now aggressively push orthodontia for adults, "It's never too late!"

It is also very common for teeth to shift back over time and get crooked again. It was once recommended to only wear retainers for a few years but now orthodontists know that retainers are forever. For women especially pregnancy hormones can cause teeth to shift back.

I could say "at least I am not like that. He is a disgusting narc that refuses to wash with soap and is obsessed with women and refuses to get a job despite having a prestigious degree because he thinks he is Jesus". But now it just disgusts and annoys me whenever I see his dumb face and I hope someone tells him one day how fucking stupid he is. So how tf do I stop?

If moids like fertility so much, why don't they go for those single moms who seem to get pregnant just by breathing in the other direction? If you genuinely care for fertility you'd know most infertility issues aren't even discovered until a person is TTC, someone who's had multiple accidental pregnancies or got pregnant on birth control would be their ideal

Because moids are peadophiles who have a fairytale idea of fertility and reproduction, basically. In their minds, the only acceptable way to conceive a kid is when a blushing virgin gets pregnant 0.0002 seconds into a magical night with The One, and then her womb seals closed forever at the age of 22 once her Nigel has continued his legacy, only to be used as a pleasure dispenser with no inconvenience to him whatsoever. Any scenario that doesn't look like this upsets them. Also, those single mums remind them that older women aren't actually unfuckable and infertile, and we all know how insecure they are about being the expendable gender.

Honestly could be some day. I personally think thin lips are cute, it reminds me of dolls and anime. I never understood the sausage filler lip trend, idk if I'm in a minority but I think big lips actually ages you even though people keep saying thin lips are what makes you look older. I always see women with lip fillers like picrel and it looks like they've aged 2 decades! I guess changing your lips usually just looks "off" and most people simply look best with the lips they're born with.

As stupid as "are you fox pretty or deer pretty or cat pretty…" and all that jazz was having multiple looks be seen as pretty at the same time is at least going in the right direction, I hope.

I'm also an autist, I love bras because they're comfy. Usually they're comfier than wearing nothing! Your bra is NOT your right size, it shouldn't be leaving deep marks like that, and it shouldn't feel uncomfortable either.

Bras fit super different to me depending on the structure of the band/underwire. I personally prefer ones that are quite wide and that sit flat, I cannot stand ones that are too thin. I also cannot stand my boobs spilling over, which is also a sign it's not your size. Get a size that fits your biggest boob and if needed use padding for the smaller one to make it fit/look even.

But if you really hate normal bras, you can also try "sport" bras and tops. Go for ones that are for "athleisure" that aren't too restricting and not actually meant for intense sports. They come in all different shapes and sizes, I have ones that work as tops on their own while my boobs are comfy and secure the whole time. All the tops in picrel are padded sports bras/tops that you can wear without a regular bra under. So you look proper while you get to be comfy.

Eh, I like it. I you feel like you look good it's easier to get in the zone than if you feel like you look like shit. Plus if you need motivation to work out it's easier to do it if you get to "dress up" a bit. Obviously that doesn't apply to everyone (nor should you have to "dress up" to work out), but I've had multiple friends start to work out more with me because they got excited about wearing cute outfits and cute gear. Though I also come from a background where I was not just a chubby kid but also forced to wear the ugliest fucking hand me downs for gym class in school, I would always feel so embarrassed and self-conscious! Especially having to have my chubby jiggly legs on display in front of everyone in badly fitting shorts. So having clothes I know look cute/appropriate takes that stress away for me now.

Do all people who speak a language that's not their native tongue sound just as bad/good as people speaking the same language but with a different native language? I'm not sure if I explained what I mean. For example, nonnies whose mother tongue is English, do english speakers from Mexico sound the same as those from France? I know there are a lot of factors to consider, and it's pretty subjective.
I've always wondered if I sound "funny" to people who don't share my native language, like I find people who speak Spanish but have English as their first language.
I've met Russians and Americans who were learning Spanish, and to me Russians sounded way better than Americans, Americans always sounded fun to me. But I don't know if it's just because I love Russian accent overall. I just wonder if I sound to Americans (when I speak English) the same way they sound to me? Do I sound fun? Retarded? I know some accents are fetishized but I wonder how much is related to accent and not only the speakers/language itself.

No. 2501559

>>2501553
No, they don't sound the same at all, even ignoring the accent. The word choices, the way they stress or don't stress certain syllables, even when they pause, it all adds up. It doesn't impede understanding, so no big deal. It's really funny to 'expose' Canadians in the US based on this. They don't all have the stereotypical accent but their vocabulary is slightly off to my ear.

Case by case basis. A native English speaker can sound stupid, a non-native English speak can also sound stupid, but it depends on several factors. Are paid online surveys a scam?
Just saw a "job offer" where you have to watch trailers, assess them and earn income in this way. Then I learned about a couple of sites where you can fill out surveys, play some games, watch some videos etc. and earn a little bit of money or get gift cards. They're allegedly legit. Has anyone tried it before?

No. 2501876

>>2501870
I've done the games thing. I've tried a few different apps that allow you to do that, it's a mixed bag. They would pay me with their in app coins/tokens and I would need to save up to cashout via paypal or a gift card. I used them a lot last year and earned around $60-$70 overall, but that was with 3 seperate apps. There's some catches to this stuff like it's time consuming, I needed to verify with my face and it's probably selling my data, not that I care. Not really worth it unless you're unemployed with a lot of free time and don't care much about privacy online.

Most of the time they get you hooked by providing you with a lot of surveys up front, but they stop coming in regularly after a few days so it's hard to get to the cashout limit within any reasonable amount of time. But I've also heard stories of accounts getting closed after you cash out a few times. I also wonder why they're doing that shit at this point in the timeline because everyone's giving up their data for free nowadays, can't help but think there's more shady business behind it.

Literally not worth it even if you're unemployed. If you're after some beer money, doing chores for a bit of cash for your elderly neighbour or whatever pays more for less time invested.
