Meta Knight has a high sense of pride in himself as a swordsman and knight who protects Dream Land. He's reserved and mysterious. He's Meta Knight. So because of all of the aforementioned, it really ticks me off when his character is boiled down, whisked with chocolate and sugar, until he's "A super shy uggu neurodivergent knight who likes chocolates and is super blushy around dedede sama". I'm fine with Meta Knight's cuter aspects but don't they get the appeal is how the cute aspects of Meta Knight contrasts his vast majority of more 'cooler' aspects? He's strong, stoic, and reserved so that makes you want to break him, doesn't it? If he's already soft and cute from the start, what's the point? It's not as fun to break something that's already broken! Though, I digress. What I'm saying is I'm tired of this misconception that Meta Knight's a shy little cutie who just loves swords and training. There's way more to him I feel. He's a powerful swordsman. As for Kirby, this one is extremely simple. I don't like how the anime has caused a widespread misconception that Kirby is a baby/child outside of the anime. I also dislike how Kirby's gender ambiguity, canonically being referred to as 'unknown' by Sakurai, has either led people to default him to male and completely hiss at the thought of Kirby being anything else, but I also don't like how this has been use to categorize Kirby as stuff like 'stargender'. I also have a slight disdain for people who take Kirby's personality and either use it as a vehicle for themselves to self-insert, or make Kirby so bland that it's not even Kirby anymore, that and disallow Kirby from feeling any more nuanced emotions. Kirby does and can have personality, especially if you have half a brain to draw from derivative official media such as the light novels. I tend to dislike that Kirby is boiled down to being 'cute and nice' and nothing else in fancontent. I give promotional content a pass because it's HAL, and despite how much I lick their feet I will not deny that they're a company and Kirby is their mascot they'll pimp out to anyone and anything. Kirby has a fierce inhuman amount of tenacity and will, a literal unstoppable force who blows through any and all immoveable objects. The anime was a mistake and has done irreperable damage to the community, and the anime is only good for a scenario where Meta Knight can be tortured (sexually) as a prisoner of war and that Dedede was gap moe as hell. Game Canon > Anime Canon. This is a unbeatable fact, and it is a struggle to not block anime onlys on sight. Fans of Dedede tend to characterize him pretty faithfully, because he's just that perfect. But I kind of notice fans have a tendency to remove any of Dedede's less negative traits and have turned him into Kirby's cheerleader
and bitch, which I don't like. The same applies to Meta Knight too. They can be Kirby's friends but I don't like how people either make Meta Knight and Dedede's Kirby's gay found family dads or his literal side bitches with no agency. Though, since we're talking about Dedede here I feel it's important to say that Dedede can have some of his 'less than sparkly' traits and still be a king with a heart of gold. Dedede can be lazy, he can be quite gluttonous and greedy, he can be a stubborn ass, and he can be spoiled too those traits are adorable as fuck. He should be able to have all of those traits but still be a hero who will act as a leader when his people need him. He should still bicker and fight with Kirby, but be more than willing to help him when tough times appear. These are nitpicky but I want to say them. I dislike when artists draw Kirby with that god-awful fuchsia that burns my retinas, Kirby with a more sandy pastel pink skin is way cuter. Dedede should be an ass towards everyone but his Waddle Dees, while he still bullies his Waddle Dees, it shouldn't be as bad as he is towards others. Meta Knight should still be morally ambiguous and not completely on the side of good. Meta Knight's mask is at its sexiest when his visor is thin. Meta Knight should have a large penis. Kirby's should be larger. Dedede's should be larger than both of them

His game is going to get a big update in around two months and the story will move on from his city, where he got his biggest developments. I'm worried that with his past being gone and all, I won't be able to see him in events anymore. Because of his past job he'd show up and drop lore and fuck off in the earlier updates but now he has no reason to show up as the villain. I want to see him reconnecting with parts of his past and make up for his regrets but no one remembers him or his effects on history. There's one person whom he could talk to about this (and would take him seriously) so I'm hoping the writing team has plans for them to meet and for my boy to touch his past more directly. With the city of focus changing, I fear he won't get more improvement in his social life either at least on screen. He did randomly appear in someone's character video though so he might be taken as "one of us" by his new city, but I want confirmation on it so badly. I want him to have friends and to stop pushing himself out when others don't even have a bad impression of him, to realise that he's not inherently the outsider puppet who can't fit in with humans. He helped a guy by giving up his water supply in the previous events and said guy didn't even know it, I was mad that my baby isn't recognised as the softie he is… Especially because the city's god saw him fit to be the one looking after the contestants. The other guy I mentioned earlier would be a great friend for him too, wouldn't treat him as the asocial loner so I want them to meet even more.
They're also shipped together which I don't mind at all because out of the entire cast I would only trust that guy to love and take care of my baby the way he deserves, other than his adoptive mother lol their past relations are a bit complicated but I would die to see them become friends I don't hate that he erased his past from everyone's memories, I loved that entire arc about him accepting his past. I just want the writers to find ways to sneak him into the main story again, because his old coworkers will show up in every main story and I could count on those to see him the past two story lines. He can show up as a menace fucking up said coworkers' evil plots just for the hell of it. He did say he will get revenge from one of those coworkers that practically fucked up his first ever friends and family. If it's forgotten that he wants to make up for some of his past and take revenge for some, I'll be really sad. I don't want him to disappear into the sea of forgotten characters that only show up to promote the card side game.
If they make him play that goofy ass game I will lose my mind. Unless they use it as a way to push him to make friends because the bitches in his city love that game. Long rant but I'm worried about my husband disappearing, please understand.

In all my years of loving Levi, I've never actually read his backstory manga because I'm simply not a manga person. I started reading it earlier today. It makes me so happy because there's so much little details and dialogue that weren't in the anime adaptation. It's literally like getting new content. I'm enjoying it, not just for Levi but for everything else too.
It also reminded me that Levi would be pretty respectful of women compared to the men in his world. Not in a dumb male feminist way though. I think it would just be because his mother was a prostitute and he spent the first few years of his life in a brothel. Even after leaving the brothel he still lived in the underground so he would've been exposed to a lot of prostitution, abuse, femicide, etc… Honestly I think he would look at men who buy sex as piggish. There was also a scene in the manga where is he implied to have killed some men that beat up Isabel (girl in pic). I support yume fan-fiction and all, but you can tell when someone truly loves a character and when she just likes a vague concept of him. And I'm a bit too autistic to tolerate OOC writing kek. Am the anon that's too embarrassed to think of her husbando. Am still embarrassed to think of existing in front of him but I found a loophole.
