I can only talk about my own experience of how one can slip from anorexia into BED. (sorry for the blogpost)
Recovering from anorexia always involves being extremely ashamed for eating. In order to deal with the guilt, you'll start to tell yourself "I need this. I deserve this. I've starved myself for so long, I need to gain weight anyways" and all that stuff. In most cases, that's exactly what everybody else will tell you. So once you let go of control, you'll find comfort in eating all the food you didn't dare to eat before. Especially since you don't need to worry about having an impact because hey, you need to gain weight anyways, right?
So it becomes some kind of habit or even addiction. So even when you reach a healthier weight, you won't be able to stop. And to cope with the shame of knowing you can't stop despite not "needing" it anymore, you'll go on telling yourself it's okay and necessary because you're still ~recovering~. Which is
in addition, a lot of people with EDs have quite extreme personalities, so it's either eating everything or nothing.

I would rarely choose junk food - unless a bit of chocolate everyday - cause I knew I needed real fucking nutrients for the fuck up I did to my system.
My face went back and slightly better than before ED, my bdy shaoe ddn't changed tho.
How comes she Always looks puffy, and her body compared to before hr eating disorder is different?
Also, I do remember that being immersed in ED related stuff made me have the tendency to relapse, so that I downloaded both on my phone and my computer a tool that blacklisted some words I choosed - and I decided to avoid "calories" "ed" "recovery" etc etc for like 6/7 months until it didn't
trigger me anymore.
It really needs focus to notice how your mood swings, to listen to all the hanges your body gets through, an to the signals your mind and body give you: even if it's craving something it becomes obsessive, needs attention and focus and trying to understand WHAT you missed. WHY you missed it, and HOW not to make it happen again.
How can't she notice it?
How HER MOTHER is not stopping her from this constant monologue with her ego for how she wants to be treated like she is still in a death threating state?
It's normal to be tied to how the ED defines you, yet with ~real recovery~ you ned to aspire to define yourself with other things than your disease.
I fucking can't believe she really thinks to be recovering.

I unfollowed aly. I was always being good to her but all the lies and empty promises…I even dmd her and sending me this shitty chain mail made me think, I told her I’m not her fan and that I really wanna help her. Figuring out about the patterns of her blog scared me, it still does. I know her for years and she has never been in such a bad mentally distorted state.

Like, why should I choose the unhealthy option if I have the healthy nutritious one? Why should I choose 200 Cals of chocolate over an avocado if I know the nutrients of the chocolate will only give me sugar energy and no vitamins like - do you get me? My body won’t benefit from it execrpt of starting to build some water weight or fat.
Vitamins and amino acids are crucial for a mental healthy state, for nerval system and resorbing vitamins with the help of these amino acids.
All her food seems to have 0 proteins, except of the dairy protein content but that’s too less, also dairy doesn’t contain all essential AA. She used to eat her moms home made dishes and they all seemed to be fine and nutritious.

But as I mentioned, her belly has become flatter a bit, even her abdominal.
