Nonnies how do you eat when you don’t have the energy to do anything? It’s such a chore. I usually let myself starve instead of getting out of bed. I hate food preparation of any kind but whenever I do muster up the energy to go grocery shopping and make something, it’s gone within 3 days. I’m severely underweight and want to gain but it feels like there isn’t enough food in the world or it’s not dense enough in calories. I haven’t eaten in over 20 hours now and with each passing second I feel myself getting weaker and weaker. I don’t even feel pain anymore when I’m hungry since I’m used to the feeling, just very weak with stomach rumbling. Help

No. 2238584

>>2238555
No joke I get a big spoonful of peanut butter and eat that. It's dense in calories, has some fiber and protein, and tastes okay. I mix up peanut butter with honey and oats to make energy balls if I have enough wherewithal to prepare food. One of those is a pick-me-up, two is a snack, and three is a substitute meal for desperate times.

I'm waiting for results back to see if I have strep but my ears were really plugged yesterday (sounded like talking through a fan) and now today there is mucus and pink earwax when I gently used a qtip. Should I wait until the results are back (most likely today) or call into the drs office now?

Thanks nonna. I was experincing chills and a mild fever for the last couple days and a super sore throat with white patches. Then yesterday my ears felt so plugged that they were making a sound I can only describe as the sound pop rocks make. I felt like my head was going to explode lol. Now I woke up and my ears have slight crust from the mucus and pink and yellow earwax when I tried to clean them. The result came back normal for strep (just called the drs) but now I have an appointment tomorrow morning. Just one hell of a flu I guess.

A little bit. I was having lunch with my dad by the TV and the news were on about how Trump and Kamala are having really close results and they're waiting for the states that don't constantly vote for the same party to vote for either of them to see the results. It would be big if Kamala won and we see the first female president in rhe history of the US. But it won't mean a lot because she's woke and it would just mean more ruin to women's rights in the US with trannies and all that shit, and more social contagion waves from the US to the rest of the world. At the end of the day she's just another politician who wants to profit and serve her own interests rather than genuinely fix the country, Trump is no different either. As long as other anglo countries don't copy any retarded legalizations from the US, I don't really care who wins that much tbh.

ACfags, help me out here. Is Audie supposed to be a wolf or a fox? I get that she's technically a wolf villager in the sense that she has the wolf model, but she's designed like a fox. If you genuinely think there's no difference between the two candidates you are retarded. We can all agree American imperialism is here to stay regardless of party, but only one is a convicted rapist pig that buried his first wife on a golf course and talks about how hot his daughter is, only one has been photographed with Diddy and Epstein, only one has a whole plan to radically change the government to the point that gays and lesbians will be considered sex offenders eligible for the death penalty. Any other ocd nonnie who also becomes extremely obsessed with people they cannot have i.e. experience limerence, become parasocial etc.? It’s so bad, it’s really killing me but I can’t help it. Yes absolutely. I have a lot of ocd symptoms but I'm not diagnosed and not trying to be, for me it literally took me years to get rid of the limerance, it took me constantly reminding myself of what the person was actually like and telling myself I'm only obsessed with a version of them that does not exist and I'm using it to validate my own emotions. It was that over and over and over for like a year or so to finally feel the feelings start to slip away.

I was diagnosed with OCD (didn't really believe it though) and definitely have this problem. I thought I had to be a bpdchan or something because I get so obsessive about people I have feelings for, and it only happens with people where I know a relationship is never gonna happen. I have always felt so guilty because I struggle to reciprocate affection when I'm with someone who actually likes me, but I'll stay psychotically obsessed with my one-sided crushes for fucking years.

Yes, thanks for your replies, you nonas get it. That’s exactly me, too. I also started thinking I must have bpd or something but I really don’t have any of the other symptoms. And like you guys said it’s only with people you know you cannot be with and the people who are actually available to you are not interesting at all. I feel like it’s some sort of defense mechanism, albeit a very masochistic one. It’s been almost a year with this one person and I don’t see it getting any better. The ones before were at least people irl and I got over them quickly because I could see glimpses of their personalities and it turned me off cause I didn’t like it so there was closure but this one is the worst cause it’s online and I’m genuinely fascinated by this person’s character in a way I never was before. And just like you guys I know I’m being extremely irrational and try to occupy my mind with other things but that can only last so long before I spiral back. It’s like the feeling will never leave and at best just stay dormant for certain periods.

Anyway, I’m sorry you’re all also going through this. At least I know I’m not alone. I hope you get over it one day, nonnies.

I think some of that is just salt from people who have bad relationships with their parents and aren't used to seeing a healthy parent-child relationship. My situation with my parents is neutral to bad, and it's very noticeable to me when someone actually gets along with their family. They act and talk differently about this kind of stuff, and I think some people are bothered by it even if they don't know why. I'm jealous of it even though I'm not salty.

I've never directly interacted with her in the server cause I don't like a lot of the ppl in there, but should I DM her about maybe being friends? I feel kinda stalkerish or autistic but I don't have any female friends i can talk to about this stuff.

It's Elden Ring and I'm going to sperg a bit, because I love Elden Ring. about why this is such a terrible setup
>Top row is left hand. Two swords and a staff. It's not unheard of to have a staff and a sword but three is just dumb.
>Next is right hand and two shields. You can only use one at a time so it just adds extra weight.
>After that is clothing. Really heavy armor mixed with a magic helmet. You typically want to be light to be a mage.
>I can't remember the talismans off the top of my head but I'm sure they're a shit combo.
>3 summons when you can only use one at a time per boss fight. An unset flash of wondrous phyisck (temp power up) and ice throwing knives
>His stats have crazy high int (coz Elon's a smart boy) to cast spells but not enough mind to actually have enough mana to cast high level int spells
>His equip load is too high to move nimbly to avoid attacks. If you go full heavy you can just out poise attacks (avoid stun when you get hit) but his looks like a mage setup so you want to be light
>Only five memory slots so he can barely even use any spells.
All and all a really dumb ass setup with a mix of items that he thinks looks cool or looks smart but anyone who's played the game for more than an hour knows is terrible. It's like some intern went out of their way to make him look like a gobshite.

What is it called when you get angry/annoyed at the smallest things? I'm already diagnosed with depression but I feel like this is more than that. I don't act on it but the smallest irritations, alot of times unreasonable too, can ruin my entire day and I have to go to sleep to restart my day because of it

No. 2247297

>>2247266
Low patience, low tolerance, and making a mountain out of a molehill. When people suffer from depression, sometimes very small irritations can become large annoyances. It's just a part of the disease. Practice mindfulness, which includes keeping a journal in which to chronicle your feelings everyday. Keep track of what exactly irritates you, and try to find solutions to those problems. Try to get more in touch with your emotions, at least to the extent that you can recognize when you're becoming irritated and knowing how to calm yourself down. It's very normal to feel this way when dealing with depression, so you're not the odd one out. Perhaps your treatment has been more focused on other elements of the disease.

Can kids be sexually abusive towards parents?

I mean obviously the answer is yes - but what I'm thinking of specifically is an incident of a yaoi loving fujo I met who bragged about how she forced her mom to look at hyper sexual yaoi images. She was an older teen at that point. If the roles were reversed and a mother forced her teen daughter to look at gay porn material it would be a more obvious case of sexual abuse, but now that I'm adult I can see that an adult woman being forced to look at sexual content (since it's yaoi it was most likely rape too) against her will is really fucked up too. I can't even imagine your own kid coming up with sexual content for you to look at, it seems so creepily incestuous too…

No. 2248792

Yes, there absolutely are! Even though we as women tend to see it as "oh no I'm misshapen and ugly and abnormal" having a "weird" body can come with physical benefits - like having a large ribcage can indicate you have larger lungs and that you would have been an excellent swimmer or singer. Being overall wide and stocky (me kek) means I build muscle easily and perform well at a lot of physical tasks that involves stability and strength. Fighting your body type doesn't work, instead if you embrace it you can develop cool skills well suited for it.

I’m a bit miffed by the burger election results because the major conclusion being drawn is “dems need to decenter women” instead of literally anything else that was poorly handled about Kamala’s campaign. The nascent 4b movement is already drawing laughs from scrotes because “only fat woke ladies will do it”, which is not necessarily true, but clearly sex doesn’t matter to them very much if it’s just a silly little joke already. I kid, but I would like to find more fun and devious ways of fighting back rather than hardlining about sex and then going about my daily life.
How do I inconvenience scrotes more? I already decided not to tip scrotes, which feels even more devious because I’m going to have more money under Trump. How about volunteering at a women's shelter in your spare time, or taking part in fundraising campaigns for women's rights movements, or becoming more involved in your local municipal politics? So much is about tearing moids down, but in doing so you're still centering them and giving them more attention and mental space than they deserve., I think it's much more beneficial in the long run to use the energy that would be directed at moids (negative energy is still energy) and instead direct it at improving the standing and welfare of the women around you. Take a step back from the internet and think about the real world: what are some things that you can do that will immediately benefit the lives of women around you?

I’m really close to my brother. He’s 3 years younger than me and as adults we’ve rented an apartment together for the past 2 years. He’s really intelligent, has had a great girlfriend for the past 5 years that I enjoy hanging out with, and he’s just a very helpful and selfless guy. Growing up it was kind of frustrating cause my parents definitely had more expectations for me academically than they did for him, and I’d say he didn’t become the person he is now until he turned 18. I do think it takes longer for boys to mature but eventually he did and he’s a really good man.

Awful. My older brother and I have a seven year age difference plus he’s autistic. He took out all of his tard rage on me as a small child so I was constantly stressed, bruised and occasionally had a broken bone because of it. We're both adults now and don't fight anymore. I'm also pleasantly surprised that despite being a lonely gamer guy he's pretty well-adjusted, hasn't fallen into any right wing podcast rabbit hole or trooned out. I also have a much younger brother who's still in elementary school, he's a bit of an ipad baby and my parents' golden child so they treat him very differently. One of them is pure evil, one is totally normal. I love my normal brother, he's compassionate, smart and a big goof. He's always making people laugh. My evil brother? He sexually assaulted me when I was a little girl, he's 5 years old than me, he would hit me, steal my things and sell them or break them, yell at me, start fights. The two of them would get in really intense fights because the evil one would say or do something selfish or fucked up and the good one wants to hold him accountable, I've seen some violent fights because of them. I'd rather not have any brother. My sister was 10 years older than me though, and very distant, so I felt like I barely had a sister. Sometimes I forget that I have a sister.

He's a few years older than me, my memories of growing up barely include him tbh because he either never seemed to be home much or barely wanted to interact with any of us when he was home. He was like a teenager before he was a teen yet. Too cool for his family vibes? He moved out as soon as he could. No drama att between me and him but we were like strangers who grew up in the same house.

Later. My dad and brother suddenly got close once my mom died. I felt weirdly left out of the new dynamic. Now my dad keeps telling me my brother wants his entire will left to only him. For a while he kept asking for (never repaid) loans that I think he's stopped giving at least. My dad's the one bringing it up with me but he talks in circles about how he knows what's up/doesn't want to risk losing their brand new closeness tho. Feel like I'm alone in grieving for my mom amongst this bs where as soon as she died my bro just anticipated my dads death next as.. payday. I hope my dad turns out to be a freak of nature healthy 100 yr old. It'll drive my brother mad waiting for his money

As a child I used to bite one side off and "drink" the insides. So my question is: surely you could theoretically wear braces for longer to keep the teeth in place, in place of - or to reduce the time of - wearing retainers?

Anyway, every time I pass by he would make random whistling, slurping and pig noises or sometimes stare at me for long periods of time , tries to touch me or gets too close as a form of intimidation; these things usually happen when my mom or sisters aren’t around to see it. I do my best that I can to ignore him and try not to let it get to me but I’m starting to feel scared. It didn’t help that when I was at the store, an older man got too close and tried to flirt with me which triggered flashbacks and my only reactions were fear and disgust. Most of the very thin and/or anorexic people I meet irl/online are lesbian or at least bi, to be fair a good amount are gendie too so idk if there’s a correlation. I don’t go to “LGBT” events, so these are just the people I happen to be encounter. All of the popular internet ones are fat though.
I’m a lesbian myself and fall into the “anorexic” category even though I don’t have the disorder or restrict.
I don’t think it’s a retarded question (though if you think it is this is literally the thread for it) but the fact this is a phenomenon in my experience is really curious to me. If in other people’s experience most lesbians are fat I’m curious about the reason for that too.

Are eurofags as stupid about race when it comes to dating as burgers? I’m a burger living abroad and I’ve met a moid who I really like. He and I aren’t the same race and I found out recently his ex is a different race than both of us. I’ve had several boyfriends who weren’t the same race as me and this always became an issue no matter how good the rest of the relationship was. In my experience they were mixed and insecure about not fitting in and despite seeming really into me would still make snide comments about how they still prefer other races. (I know this is probably just negging but it still hurts). Do eurofags fetishize other races as much?

White euros who marry black women have a fetish. Same with the ones who marry the chinese and japs. I have yet to see a euro man show genuine interest in an indian woman lol. Why? Because of the reason i wrote above. Ure an experience, not a love interest.

It got tot the point where not only I didn't even understand what my needs were but also felt like I didn't have any needs at all beyond the basic survival ones. When you start taking better care of yourself and meet your needs more efficiently, these feelings should fade away, but it takes some time. It took me a couple of years of work. Practicing gratitude also helps.

Genuine question: should you be asking a 30+ year old male to take out the trash, clean the dishes? Isn’t it ridiculous to have to tell a near middle-aged man to do the bare minimum? Why are some women, like myself, always forced to feel bad for these men for being incapable of doing simple tasks?

Yes, yes it is.

No. Chores are a basic skill that every adult should know. I don't even think "not knowing how to cook" is a valid excuse to not LEARN or to even get a recipe book.
>Why are some women, like myself, always forced to feel bad for these men for being incapable of doing simple tasks?
Because to put it simply, women are socially engineered by society to be cucks for men when it comes to emotional and house labor.

How would you describe getting a song stuck in your head? Is it a minor inconvenience? Does listening to the song help? How many times will you listen to it before you move on to something else?

I don’t actually care for music and I think one of the reasons is that I have a propensity for songs getting stuck in my head. Except it seems much more intrusive for me than it is for others? Like it’s LOUD and makes it hard to focus on anything else. I’ll listen to it constantly for days on end but sometimes it will take a week or more for it to get unstuck. Sometimes my brain does this and loops through four different songs on repeat. I’m not sure if this is the typical experience which is why I ask

>How would you describe getting a song stuck in your head?
If a song gets stuck it means you (your brain) like it. People get really offended when they get told this though because they can't accept they like a shitty pop song by some stupid singer they hate. But what happens is your brain just really likes those sounds, so it craves more of it the same way you'd crave a cookie or burger. The easier/simpler the song is the easier it is for it to get stuck on your brain. Baby shark can get stuck easier than an orchestral song. But it also means the simpler song is, the faster it is for your brain to "figure it out" and to get over it.
The only solutions to get rid of it are to wait it out, but the way faster and more enjoyable option is to just listen to the song a couple of times until your brain is "full" of it.

>I don’t actually care for music and I think one of the reasons is that I have a propensity for songs getting stuck in my head.

I think of listening to music as a puzzle! When your brain likes a song it tries to figure out the "pattern" of it. Once you've fully mastered the patten it kind of stops being as good, every sound is now predicted by your brain before you even hear it and it loses that initial spark - you've solved the patten puzzle. And since music has a set set of rules (and most people try to make catchy music), the more music you've "solved" the easier it is for your brain to solve more as it knows what to look for. So if you don't listen to a lot of music, it would both makes songs get stuck easier as you're not used to them, and they'd stay for longer because you're not used to "solving" them.

I used to hate getting songs stuck in my head until I had someone explain the pattern thing to me. Once I allowed myself to realize it means my brain actually just likes the song, I can now causally listen to the song on repeat until it stops being "fun" and my brain moves on. Now it's super enjoyable to me, literally even if the song is some garbage slop that I normally wouldn't listen to kek, I just let my brain have fun with it and live in it for as long as it takes. I get so excited when a song gets stuck on my brain now, there is literally no other media that can bring me so much constant enjoyment, while being in the background meaning that it still allows me to fully engage in other activities at the same time. I even get a little sad when the song loses its spark!

You don’t have to eat considerably more when pregnant; there’s no need to increase your caloric intake in the first trimestre, and only about 450 extra calories are needed in the third trimestre. Women often tend to indulge and 'eat for two,' which makes sense considering we're typically 'forced' to be vigilant about our weight throughout our lives. Rihanna just gained weight.

Sure you had to wait for people to respond to you, but at least the replies back were longer and of higher quality than the short dopamine bursts that current social media apps like TikTok like to push with tiny limited character spaces of retards saying shit like "ratio" if they disagree with you on something. I think forums need to make a huge comeback, especially since Elon has taken over Twitter and TikTok will be axed in January.

Aww, that might make it harder then. Maybe if you want, you can go back to your therapist or find a new therapist to talk about your feelings for her and maybe as the intensity of the love wanes so will the obsessive thoughts? Not that you have to stop loving her but sounds like it may be extremely acute and intense. Or maybe you can deal with obsessive thoughts on your own. Thoughts are thoughts and on their own don't do anything to us. If you are trying to do your laundry, for example, and you find yourself thinking about them having sex, don't immediately try to push the thought away. "Accept" it, and wait for the thought to pass. Don't dwell on it. I know it is much easier said than done, but once I stopped trying to block my intrusive thoughts and instead let them pass through my mind without judgement, they started ruining my life a little less. And I don't think it sounds creepy that you think about this. You have to judge yourself less. There is nothing creepy about feeling jealous of someone you have a crush on. It is however unhealthy to beat yourself up for this. I hope you get better and soon you'll find someone who desires you instead

ugh I remember the decline of 2016 so well. it felt like every blog I followed on tumblr became unreadable overnight, sharply transitioning from humor and art to bitter ironically-detached ideologue posting 24/7. suddenly everyone was angrily posturing as a communist where previously they were discussing scrappy doo or whatever. it was extremely weird and things never really went back afterwards.

That's interesting because from a "i'm trying to figure this shit out by myself" perspective, I've always felt like the more I let myself ruminate on the thoughts, the more frequent and chronic they become. Like if I let myself think about it, I can genuinely get trapped in it for 30 minutes straight or more and wind up nauseous (which actually happened this morning sadly).
>>2259842
>reminding myself they're brain noise and I can acknowledge them, sit with them, and move on helps.
Yeah, that seems to be the general advice for intrusive thoughts, I just have a hard time making that work because unlike intrusive thoughts about like, your pet dying, or dropping a baby, etc, where you can tell yourself "it's just brain noise, it's not real" I know that all the things that disturb me are really happening… so I feel the urge to "come to terms with it" by thinking deeply about it. Because if I don't come to terms with it, the thoughts jumpscare me in daily life and even in my fantasies when I remember reality. I actually figured out that I think I've been experiencing small panic attacks because whenever reality jumpscares me I instantly get a heat flash and start sweating through my clothes.

Thank you both for being so kind and understanding in your advice, I really appreciate it and it made me cry.

Physical pain releases endorphins and a lot of people enjoy that. Additionally if someone grew up receiving physical abuse it sometimes develops into masochism, because they need more extreme stimulation to get off and it becomes intertwined with love, since it's being delivered by a caretaker like >>2261757 said. Sometimes it's the only kind of prolonged attention a child receives from a parent who is otherwise neglectful, so this becomes the result. When it's delivered without harmful intent it's different than when your parent beats you up without your consent and you can't leave the situation for example. That being said this doesn't mean that 100% of domestic abuse survivors will become masochists obviously

If you want, there's a Diet & Fitness thread on /g/ that can help you. Putting on muscle and exercising is simpler than you think. Check out this post >>>/g/426081 for info about working out, it's informative but long.

In the case of hand walking, you'd need to develop flexibility through daily stretching and strength from calisthenics or lifting weights. Be aware that a pound of muscle looks very different from a pound of fat. I.e., a 200lbs person that's never worked out looks very very different from a 200lbs person that works out everyday and eats right. When fatties work out they might get discouraged because the number on the scale isn't going down, so make sure you measure all your body parts and keep track of the changes throughout the fitness journey. It takes the smile demon 5 days to drive a person to suicide and if it needs one person to see the suicide to propagate the curse, it won't. 385,000 is the average births per day. We would out birth it.
Now if you ask if it made sure at least two people saw someone commit suicide then that's 5^(x-1). About 10 iterations to comfortably kill everyone. So about 50 days (at most).

Everyone's psychoanalyzing and projecting their trauma onto it, but really, sadomasochism doesn't require trauma or abuse. If you enjoy doing the most extreme rides at amusement parks, or seeing the scariest movies, you're a masochist. You enjoy extreme stimulation in a safe environment. If you enjoy designing rides or directing scary movies, you have a safe outlet for affecting people strongly. Sadomasochism is morally neutral.

All previous replies are hogwash. Sadomasochism is devil work. It's that simple. It is the penultimate perversion of the God-given gift of sexuality. It is spiritually destructive & it is morally abhorrent. It is, ideologically, opposed to all progress and in its face all goodness is in jeopardy. Anyone that enjoys sexual sadism or sexual masochism is imprisoned, and when they die their spirit will not unite with the Godhead. Their spirit will fall forever. They will never know glory.

How are they supposed to interpret their parents mean-spirited kink dynamic as a work of fiction? I swear liberal humanists are my personal fundies, because the delusional amount of faith in human nature in spite of mountains of observed evidence and common sense just baffles me. The average person can't compartmentalize all that crap in a sane manner, they shouldn't be participating in it in the first place and no one should be enabling them as a cute thought experiment. candydolls.tv was a legal child pornography website, because they were clothed I guess. they called it a modeling company but… modeling for what? no products were sold, just access to photosets of the children. young girls, maybe 8-14 (tops), mostly caucasian were dressed in skintight ballet leotards and cosplay and posed with their legs spread so you could see the outline of everything. the longer a girl was posted on the site the more depressed and unhappy she started to look and the more lurid and explicit the outfits and poses got. I have no idea why it was up for so long, every adult involved should have been burned at the stake. actually I'm not even sure it was shut down it might have just moved domains or changed names. spoilered because I upset myself remembering it.

I don't think it glorifies mental illness at all, I think the "issue" is only really an issue to young women and girls only because of how impressionable they are. The "mistake" is that the characters are pretty women, and so as always young girls want to project onto them or emulate them in some way. Angelina was thin, they glorified it. Winona was pretty and pulled off a pixie, she inspired many regretted hairstyle choices. They want to be Susana because they see her as the victim, but as an adult its easy to see there is no competition and that they are all victims. They were vilified, ignored, stripped of basic rights, and often sexually assaulted. I hate the idea of warching the movie now only because it's basically a meme and because I think I would cry for Daisy's scenes. RIP.

Yeah it's scary. If anyone speaks up about how it should be normal to question yourself and if your feelings aren't betraying yourself, they're screamed off as a terf or transphobe or whatever. That isn't healthy at all and I think all of that petulant refusal to accept reality or have healthy discussion is why the Trans movement is being mocked endlessly now by many angles–they bit off far more than they could chew, and kept trying to insert trans issues even when entirely unnecessary and inappropriate, and now the public fatigue is overwhelming. Amputating healthy tissue and organs is a humongous decision that has been approved flippantly due to greed, and the medical industry eagerly preys upon impressionable young women who think they will solve their insecurity and self loathing through permanent, irreversible mutilation. I honestly don't think there would be this kind of ridicule if things were as they were a decade and a half ago, where transgender people were fully aware of the gravity of what they were doing and understood that their expectations have to be managed. It took a single decade to unravel many years of working toward a very simple request of wanting to live a peaceful life comfortable in themselves to the whole thing being turned into a fashion statement and social identity.

There's a haircare thread on /g/ that you can scroll through to find more solutions, but my biggest tips to you are:
>Wash hair with cool water
Don't use hot water on your hair, try to wash using only cool water. It's even better if you wash it in cold water.
>Invest in a decent dry shampoo.
If you don't want to wash your hair everyday but you don't like that feeling, a good dry shampoo can really help. I like to use dry shampoo often because it helps hold styles and get rid of any grease. If you plan to use it frequently, you have to clean your scalp at least once every two weeks to strip all the remaining dry shampoo leftover.
>Use leave in conditioner or an anti-frizz hairspray.
Sometimes hair gets frizzy throughout the day because of environmental factors. I.e., if you live somewhere humid or hot your hair will become frizzy through the day. If you spray your hair with firming hairspray after you style it, it can help manage fly-aways and frizz that happens with humidity. If you live in a dry climate, your hair might get dry and that may cause frizz as well. In that case, a light leave-in conditioner might help reduce frizz by keeping your hair moisturized.
>Reduce heat treatments on your hair.
Obviously, frequent use of heat on your hair can damage it and cause frizz. Try to reduce the amount of heat you use on your hair. If you use a hair dryer frequently, try to keep it on its "cool" setting while you dry your hair. A moment of heat is acceptable, but the more you heat your hair the dryer and more damaged it becomes.

I encourage you to check the /g/ thread though, there's way more advice in there. You could probably ask your question there and get better answers too.

I don't know where you live but generally you want to aim for home ownership, it provides a massive amount of security (especially in old age). Oh, the answer to this one is to read!
Specifically, you want to try for "classic lit". This is because modern day publishing is hit and miss right now with a lot of tiktok wattpad bullshit, and their sentence structures are dodgy. Over time pattern recognition will set in.
Alternatively, you can take English courses at a local community college, or try googling "how to use commas" to find resources like purdue.
And as always, remember the Oxford comma…

Cold showers are a meme spread by hustle culture moids who think the more they suffer stoically (and post online about it) the more successful they will be. If there's any benefits they aren't established enough to outweigh the mental benefits of a nice warm shower that doesn't make you want to die.

The investment you do highly depends on which country you're in. Look into retirement savings programs offered in your country. These allow you to open up a savings account in the bank that gives you a tax shelter on the capitals gains from your investments. For Americans their options are a Roth IRA and a 401k. Just to get started you can try set up an appointment with a bank to open up a savings account. They will assess your comfort level when it comes to risk and will match some appropriate mutual funds you can buy to start investing. Though the MERs on these are quite high, so I just started doing self-directed investment with ETFs. Just start investing and save as much as you can. Read up on it and watch videos that are applicable to your country. The earlier you start, the more time your investments will grow and your future self will thank you for the headstart.

Hot water is drying so it isn't good for your hair, but you can rinse it in cold water without having an entire freezing cold shower in winter. And even if you don't, it's not like it's gonna fall out. Might be slightly drier than it would be otherwise, same for your skin. Making yourself cold and uncomfortable for the slightest possible improvement in your hair and skin is insane to me.

Why are there so many tiny/fun sized black women? This is a real question and not Racebait. I'm from Croatia and I don't think I've ever seen a 4'10" 85 pound woman here, most of our women are normal to talk, and sturdy built, chubby, or normal weight.

But I am visiting my internet friends in Jamaica, and both of them are very tiny (5'0" and 5'2" and have tiny frames). One of them showed me a USA celebrity called Skia Jackson, who is also very small. I look around the island and there are many normal sized women but also many tiny women. In Croatia there are very very very few tiny women. Is it just the genetics? Nutrition?

Again, not bait, not hate, I just think it's fascinating and cute. My tiny friends are like little Thumbelinas compared to my stocky 5'8" ass.

Surprisingly all the men seem to be normal sized.

If it thawed you gotta eat it right away, it's bad to refreeze meat. From what I understand industrial freezing kills most bacteria but when it thaws they proliferate, and home freezing doesn't kill them as well, so if you thaw again you're breeding even more bacteria. Food science anons correct me if I'm wrong.

A tripcode is a unique identifier so that when someone wants or needs to not be anonymous, they can prove it's them, e.g. with Null. Anyone can write Null in the name field, but a tripcode allowed him to "sign" a post and prove it's really him.
What happened with Lillee Jean was that she and her mom Laur thought Null owned LCF, so they emailed him some bogus legalese to get him to take down her threads. Null had no idea who she was, as she didn't even have a thread on KF at the time, so he was very confused and came here, since they mentioned this site in their email. He asked some questions in her thread and I remember answering them. Laur now has a thread there.

It's because HS in the groin is caused amongst other things by friction, I have it all over my panty line. Pads with tabs also make my HS flare up. Maybe this will help other nonnas but what helps my HS is eating low carb and taking zinc supplements every day. I'm lucky that I only have a single stage 3 scar with tunneling that flares up maybe once every 2 years when I eat bread. I used Dr Bronners soap for about two years but it didn't do much difference for me, though some people swear by it. I only get a small boil every couple of months now.

Yes and no. Teenage years are filled with hormones going wild, so you'll have more crushes and get hornier and all that shit more. Hormones change all throughout your life so it can go either way, though usually they should settle down as an adult. Worth noting that your brain isn't done developing until at the earliest your mid 20s.

I've seen adult women talk about how they'd get really strong, intense crushes as teens that calmed down to a fraction as they grew into adulthood. So even if they still got crushes, it wasn't anywhere near on the same level.

Don't suggest he works on it, but you can ask in a friendly way "how is your thesis going?" as if you don't know he's procrastinating it. You probably also know the feeling of someone (usually a parent) saying "do this thing nona" and suddenly it's the last thing on earth you want to do. It just makes it even less likely they do it. A thesis is usually boring, it's ok for most people to procrastinate a bit on it as long as it gets finished in time eventually. Only if he fails, or if you find him panic writing the literal last minute due to poor planning, should you consider what kind of a person he is and if it's worth dating someone like that. You don't want someone who does important things last minute or who fails to do them.

A mind trick to use on people when you want them to do something is making up another boring chore that's more work than what you actually want them to do. So in this example you'd go "hey nigel, I'm thinking of deep cleaning the bathroom today and you should help me- oh wait, did you have to write on your thesis today? If so I guess that goes first…" this way you either get a deep cleaned bathroom or he works on the thesis kek
Though you may have to be prepared for the boring chore if he actually chooses to help with that, but at least then you get that done instead.

The same thing that draws a lot of "females" to Sanrio. Confirmation bias tends to get in the way when you constantly encounter accounts of teenage girls sitting abilify or Xanax pills on top of a my melody plushie.

The same reason DDLG/sub/bishops are drawn to it, all of those groups overlap into one: the bpdettes

What was with the anons in the vent thread who kept replying to each other with tiny gifs? Their posts are deleted now but I'm sure someone else saw it, like what's going on?

How do you deal with having said something stupid or embarrassing? I said something extremely cringy on Monday and I can't stop thinking about it. It's always like this, I lose days of sleep just remembering stuff like this, sometimes recent, sometimes things I said or did years ago. I'm baffled I still have friends tbh, I'm si fucking retarded.

Nonas, is this the correct thread to post in for fiber arts? >>>/g/107505
I feel like I've seen a different thread somewhere. I also looked for a sewing/quilting related thread, but both search functions turned up nothing (except cows). The ideal for me would be one thread for all textile/fiber arts; the yarn thread is very inactive.
I hope you forgive a mobilefag her retarded struggle kek

I hate to presume your age, but for me it was something that plagued me through my early 20s and it happened less frequently as I grew older. It didn't go away on its own, though. There's some stupid technique people talk about: you accept that you're having the thought or memories, you tell yourself it happened, but that was in the past and you can't change it. You are in the present now, and you will be turning your attention to something else that you want to think about.
It's called "radical acceptance" or some fagshit and it totally works.

I don't know if you know this, but most people don't actually do this. It can indicate an anxiety disorder or something related. If you're someone who is open to medication, I found it helped me a ton, both antidepressants and anti-anxiety.
Good luck, nonnie!

I play vampire with some friends and the DM asked me to play a malkavian npc for a bit. I was determined to play her as soft-crazy instead of over the top as people tend to play. The PCs didn't know she was a malkavian and I wanted it to stay that way, but also throw a hint or two. Thats not exactly how it went though and I went a bit penguin of d00m at certain points and I could tell people thought it was weird and not in the fun way. It's probably not as bad as you're thinking but I'm upset.

Thank you for the sweet reply nona! I do think it's anxiety related. I described what it was and I can tell it's not normal to be this affected by something so inconsequential.

Someone asked "is anyone else having a horrible week"? And people mostly responded with gifs or images. One of the images was a pic saying "you're not going in circles, you're spiraling upwards". Someone else responded with an image and wrote sth like "spiralling upwards hurr durr" basically mocking the attempt at positivity. Someone else said "this is why no one likes depressed people". I didn't realize they had been deleted.

there were some others that weren't even responding to the question, like the woman breaking glass in response to the spiraling upward pic, then a response to the glass gif with a crying anime girl gif, then a response to that gif with an indian woman..like some weird gifception kek

Two questions
1. Why do reptile owners spend so much on expensive glass enclosures when you can spend a lot less on a plastic tub that comes in the same sizes and does the same thing?
2. Why were prehistoric animals so huge?

No. 2270113

>>2270109
1. Plastic tub is so so sad for lizard. Reptile owners have compassion and love in their hearts.
2. Maybe someone else knows kek

No. 2270117

>>2270113
But why it so sad though? Plastic tub still clear and come in big size.

No. 2270120

>>2270117
I don't think a plastic tub can ever be a substitute for a clean, big glass enclosure. You can see through glass so much better, and there's not a risk of the plastic melting with heat rocks and such. I think glass is also more sanitary.
Plastic tubs are also associated with scummy reptile breeders who keep their animals in opaque 1x2 foot tubs in shelving. For me, anyways.
