Back in around 2016, I bought a shirt with Laika the space dog on it and I wear it at least once a month. I like the historical aspect of it (the space race was interesting) and I find her story really heart wrenching. I think of the shirt as a way to honor and remember her.
However, someone got upset at it and asked "why are you wearing animal abuse on a fucking shirt." and I haven't worn it since.
I wasn't wearing it for edgelord reasons but is that how it comes across?

The remoteness depends on where you live. I live in a very rural area in one of the national parks. If you don't have a car, you're fucked because the public transport is atrocious and to get anywhere takes forever on long narrow country lanes. If I'm travelling by myself I generally ride around on my trail motorbike because it deals better with the roads than a car and I can take shortcuts through unpaved roads. For me it's worth it because I enjoy the isolation and appreciate the absolutely stunning natural beauty of the area, I even like the weather.
Less remote are market towns. These are often historical and will have beautiful old architecture. They have small local shops, a regular market of local traders selling local goods and there will usually be a few smaller chain shops. There will also be public facilities like a library, schools, a GP and in some a cottage hospital. It's usually fairly easy to get from a market town to one of the bigger cities by public transport, you just have to plan your journey because the buses will only run once every two hours.
Seaside towns are another option, areas like Torbay, Exmouth and Burnham are fairly populated and will have more local amenities. A lot of the seaside towns are in serious decline while still having sky high property prices.
I would avoid any of the cities here as they suffer from the same problems that you probably want to escape from. Plymouth is a drug infested shit hole with little prospects unless you can get a job working for the government, the navy or the university. Exeter is the regional capitol of Devon and it suffers with a homeless drug addict problem and rapidly increasing crime rates. There's been a disturbing increase is rape over the past few years. Bristol is a South East level shit hole and Bath isn't much different from Exeter.

I decided instead that I'd like to do non-traditional work outside of the employer system. I do a lot of different things to make money, most of it's online. I do a lot of stuff on Fiverr like: copywriting, editing, translation, I even do resume design. I also sell things on eBay, specifically old video games. I'll visit garage sales and thrift stores in my area and buy things to resell online for a profit, sometimes I'll go thrifting to find things to sell on Depop or Poshmark as well. To make money online, it takes a while to build a good reputation for yourself but it's worth it in the end. I also take part in online surveys on certain reputable sites like Prolific, and I have been a part of drug trials before as well. A big part of making money is just scamming but doing it well, sort of like how Gwen Shamblin did it. I'm not saying Gwen Shamblin is a great person, but she did make a whole multi-million dollar religious cult out of her diet program, and in my books that's successful. I'm writing my own diet program book and hopefully I'll be finished by 2025.

What am i supposed to do if i get awful migraines whenever it rains and i live in a city where it rains like 3/4 of the year?
I thought this shit was fake until i noticed that i really get sick whenever it rains even if i am in a different country.
