I pulled the piece off myself using tweezers and I've been ok since but I'm not looking forward to seeing my dentist eventually and explaining that I never did shit to get this looked at. Desperate times tho. It was a thin shard of tooth hanging on.
If you do get any signs of infection, sensitivity, pain etc afterwards then you should seek help without delay. Wisdom tooth pain can get intense pretty quickly.

I second what the other anon said about going to a dental school to get good rates. But really you just need to scrape the money together and go as soon as possible, because long-term that’s the cheapest thing to do.

What are some good tubed watercolors? I only use very bright primary and secondary colors these days and want to make a custom set with just a few colors in it. I've had picrel for 6-7 years and I love it but it's truly on it's last legs, all the colors I use are mostly gone and it's such a clunky tin it barely fits on my desk. I love them but sadly they don't sell individual tubes/pans, at least not in my country. Every pre-made tin I look at has browns, blacks, colors I just don't use so I don't want to spend money on those and also don't want to buy shitty student grade watercolors until I find good ones, I don't have that kind of money or patience kek. I tried the Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors and their reds and yellows are amazing, the blues are shit though and the individual pans are so huge, they won't fit in any kind of tin (the cardboard package they come in is super impractical, there's no mixing space). All I need for them is to be bright, pigmented and not fall out of the pan once they dry (watercolorfags know what I'm talking about). I'll be buying 5 tubes at most so I don't mind them being on the expensive side. I just want some nice ones and have a good quality (small) tin with just a few colors I'll actually use.

I've been told that you don't want to pay it off completely once every month, and that you build up more credit by paying part of it off twice every month. Like if your minimum payment is 20 a month you pay ten bucks on the 15th and the other 10 on the 30th. I don't have a credit card
i have student loan debit and a cable bill so take it with a grain of salt.
Hope this helps. And hopefully someone who can help better will correct what needs to be corrected here lol

>>1124435>>1124674 has the right idea, but you should pay it off in full every month. I was told by my dad that I should always keep a running balance on my card, but I did that once and my credit score dropped a bit kek. Paying the minimum is really not ideal. If you only pay the minimum, but keep on charging shit to your card, you:
1) Will most likely at some point go over 10% utilization (how much you've spent vs your total available credit line), which is not a good look. You don't want to use
too much of your credit limit constantly because then you start to look risky ("why is this person always owe almost $10k every month? they haven't missed a payment because they pay the minimum but they keep charging to the card… ")
2) You will have to start paying interest, and credit card interest rates are truly the devil (my cards are like 20-24% which is pretty normal in US).
Utilization doesn't have the worst most impact on your credit score, but it's just a good idea to keep it between 1% and 10% (actually I forgot the recommended max but I think my card tells me 10%). Never just pay the minimum if you can help it, if only because the interest rate will really start fucking you over. If you pay in full each month, you pay no interest. I read a personal finance book that once said "become the customer that credit card companies hate, because they can't make extra money off of you by charging you interest."
You want something posted to your statement at the end of every billing cycle. Yes they will show all your charges and any payments you made in that billing cycle, and I did forget the reason why, but it's no skin of your back to just wait til the billing cycle closes and your card tells you "ok you owe a total of $500 this month" and then you just pay it. Statement balance posted, payment posted after, statement balance posted, payment posted after, the cycle continues and you build up credit because you are showing that you are reliably paying off your card. You can do this just by making the minimum payment too, no missed payments is really all it comes down to, but I think that's just playing with fire.
Fuck credit card interest rates, never carry a balance if you can help it. Set up autopay (I think you can pick for it to pay full statement balance, minimum, or specific amount) and forget about it. I have autopay set up but I personally go in and pay it myself anyway because I go in frequently to check my balance (like every 2-3 days, which you should do too to make sure there's no funny business going on). Credit cards are a necessary evil in our lives unfortunately.

But if you want to start from zero, you could figure out the prices of the plots of land that you would like to buy, depending on the types of animals that you want in your farm, you will need a certain size because of the facilities that they need.
So if you want a few cows, like three of them, chickens, around six of them, say maybe a horse and five pigs, you could need around 5 to 8 hectares I think, but I’m being stingy tbh, cows, chickens and pigs smell a lot the flies are annoying as fuck during summer, so you need to keep your main house pretty far away from them.

my only comfort is that they've all "peaked" and even if i am a social autist i at least on my way to getting a great job and am not relying on some ugly man for everything/saddled with 3 kids.

i was mostly a bully in elementary school and then in my freshman year before i changed schools. i would not only verbally abuse others but attack them. there were specifically a few kids at my school and daycare who i would beat the shit out of. i made them cry from pain a few times. this is something i look back on and feel sick about. i feel great guilt over causing such misery and i wish i could talk to the people i bullied.
i don’t know why i did it. i guess i was an angry kid? who knows. i grew up without a father, and watching my mother get beat up by more than one boyfriend she had. she also had to raise me as a single parent and was at work a lot. i preferred being alone and playing alone. i hated sharing.

>>1125687I rejected a popular guy in middle school and the girls that were into him spread rumors about me being a lesbian so I got bullied very bad, mostly physically. I'd get beaten up and stuff and it really wasn't nice.
I was a bully in highschool, sort of. I was very popular with the guys and would make them beat up or insult anyone I disliked because it was fun and easy. I also didn't want the same shit happening once again so whenever someone tried to ruin my reputation, I ruined theirs first. Most of my targets were retarded guys but one girl who'd try to physically hurt me ended up being one of those people. After I was done, she only had one friend like herself and everyone taunted her while praising me.
I've also done similar stuff later on, nowadays whenever a girl annoys me I just make a guy they like insult her or ruin a guy's friendships if I dislike him. None of these people are random innocent strangers, though, they've either tried to physically hurt me or did something really bad.

>>1125687I was way shorter and skinnier than other kids in primary school because of an hormonal disorder (I'm cured now thanks to treatment) and it was already visible in kindergarten because I probably had a more severe case than average. On top of that I was one of the very few non-white kids. As soon as primary school started I got bullied hard and teachers told me basically to gtfo as soon as I started complaining and they would punish me and only me when I tried to defend myself. Some teachers would also accuse me of cheating during tests when it was classmates who were copying my answers. On top of that some of my male classmates were perverts with everyone and would try to rip off everyone's clothes (yeah even the guys didn't escape that) and see under everyone's skirts. It stopped as soon as one of the kids punched me so hard in the face I passed out and was profusely bleeding from my lips and it healed in like one month and until then I could only eat soup. I didn't know her yet and learned later her brother told her to beat the fuck out of me because I was a midget or some shit. The director went from "stop bothering me and go play with your friends, you're annoying" to panicking hard and being on the verge of calling an ambulance. My crazy religious,
abusive parents also forced me to not have white friends because they're paranoid. I moved to another place at some point and everyone was way nicer to me but too late, I didn't trust anyone after that.
My muslim parents sent me to a catholic middle school after that because I had very good grades and I made friends there and then was just constantly ignored very suddenly because I wasn't white and rich enough for the kids and their parents there but it didn't bother me at that point, I had way bigger problems in my life so whatever. It took me years to learn how to act kind of normally after all of this, university helped a lot. I'm still very standoffish and I've been told by a lot of people that I'm too silent and need to "open up" when really, I just don't want to talk to or hang out with anyone except my very close friends. Basically, all the kids that treated me badly were rich spoiled brats with very loving parents and no problems in their lives, and they thought I was a weirdo for not having a perfect life like them. They'd call me weird for the most normal shit ever. The girl's brother is adopted but I don't even buy that he was traumatized enough to bully me because he was 1000% part of his adopted family and treated very well and literally everyone saw him and his sister as basically twins despite the sister being white and the brother being asian. I remember an anon saying a boy at school slapped her so hard she had a hand mark on her cheek for several days and he apologized years later because he thought that was a normal thing to do to his crush after seeing his father abusing his mother but that's absolutely not what happened with my bullies. What fucks me up is that if any of this happened to me as an adult, for example in a workplace, I could have called the cops right there and then and these retards would have been in jail easily, yet when you're a kid and go tell your teachers you're told to stfu and deal with it, but if you do deal with it yourself then you're punished.
tldr; from personal experience the "bullies are also bullied too uwu" bullshit is fake and gay. It's a lie made up to cover up some cases of bullying.

She was scrawny and honestly pretty ugly, but a really, really sweet girl. No one liked her because she was ugly but I was desperate for friends since everyone already had their cliques and she was a genuine friend. After a little while I found another friend group, who I would mostly stay with for the rest of middle school, and they were good friends but like everyone else in the school, they picked on Sundae so I ended up joining in on that too. It was mostly just making fun of her behind her back and shit like that. There was another girl named Sofia who also got picked on for being really ugly, but she would (verbally) fight back against people and I'd sometimes see her and Sundae together.
I was still picked on a little bit even after making more friends with people (I liked weebshit so I got picked on a lot for that), but not to the extent Sundae was picked on. Is going to therapy for trauma actually worth it or is it just bs? What kind of therapy would even be useful for getting over a traumatic instance? I just don’t see how talk therapy especially would be useful… when people say “you should go to therapy for that!” Do they usually mean talk therapy?

>>1126929There's a saying: "Before you diagnose yourself with depression, make sure you are not just surrounded by assholes."
I feel like that applies here. A personality disorder is, as the name implies, something that is rooted deep inside a person and has a large influence.
If you only ever had/have BPD-like symptoms as a reaction to a bad environment, it's probably not that.
No. 1127136
>>1126926It's definitely worth it, if you can find a good therapist.
You know how the brain influences your thoughts and your behavior?
Talk therapy makes use of the fact that this also works the other way around.
By talking about your issues, you can understand them and slowly change your thought patterns and behaviors.
Over time, that in turn will change the inner workings of your brain.
As the other anon said, there are different types of talk therapy that have different approaches and goals.
CBT is kind of the general go-to, but if you feel like one of the other ones might be better, you can also seek out a therapist who is more specialized in that specific technique.
A good therapist will also be able to adapt the therapy to your needs instead of using a cookie cutter approach.

Also I suggest putting ALL fps or most used game downloads on your SSD (if you get one and it makes a big difference for Fps)instead of Windows/Programs. My dad used to build computers so all my knowledge is by experience or handmedown, maybe the tech nonnies can help more- I also say to get your computer or parts during off seasons like summer or going back to school(when people downgrade for tuition, moving or buy a new computer) but just keep your eyes on the market

>>1129887I rarely got bullied if ever as a kid. Maybe it was a combo of being tall, lanky, athletic, quiet but not too shy so I wasn't a total autist. What got to me was being ignored by boys, ever since I was a child. It was hurtful because in my teen years I felt absolutely repulsive due to it. I had boyish hobbies and music interests yet boys would never want to talk with me which made me bitter. I did look like a boy myself though so looking back on it I can see why they didn't like me.
I'll never forget sitting on a bench with two of my friends flirting with with boys from another school. They were insulting the girls while they giggled and said shit like "teehee stop" but I was completely ignored. That type of stuff really stuck with me because my whole existence was ignored, but thinking about wanting to be insulted by teenage boys for a crumb of attention makes me sad for my teenage self kek.

in highschool there was a girl who i was friends with i guess, but i was shy and quiet. she was the type to make people uncomfortable and embarrassed as a joke to make people to laugh. she used to do it to me, and would point out that i was going red. she also kept saying because i had never had a boyfriend that i was a lesbian!! at the time that was still kinda used as an insult? but i remember at night i would lie awake and wish that maybe if she could see me right now, upset, she wouldn't keep embarassing me. i continued to kinda be a friend because i was scared if i didn't it would be worse. however after we left school, her mum had an asthma attack and ended up in a vegetative state. i feel awful but after thinking back, i never felt bad for her at all. i hope she cried like i did. Then they told every scrote that we hung around with and went to school with and I was bullied about it at school and online. My entire Facebook page was covered in abuse about my hairy vagina. They also stopped talking to me entirely for a while. Then a couple years later they came up to me at a party and pretended it never happened. They’re both fat now. >>1129999Samefag, the bullying got so bad that they brought in social services, they told me that
I was the problem because I was reacting and that's what the bullies wanted. So even though I was being physically assaulted, was having my things stolen, and weird rumors started about me all just because I was new to the school, it was my own fault for reacting to it. People throwing pennies and shoes at me, playing keep away with my headphones and slashing them with a pocket knife, putting gum in my hair, and it was all my fault apparently. They had the social services guy follow me around and take notes about me. I made the mistake of mentioning my father and that he drinks, so they came to our apartment unannounced. At the time we were living in a one bedroom apartment, me and both my parents, and I was sleeping on a deflated air mattress. Both my parents were alcoholics. The guy from CPS totally ignored my living situation, told my dad that his drinking was having a bad influence on my attitude and that I need to stop giving the bullies attention, then they left and never followed up again. My dad was so angry that I got screamed at and my hair pulled that night, locked in my room, and later kicked out for a week.

Anons, I need your input.
I'm reviewing a piece of media that tells a story of an a black American person set in the 60s; told from that person's perspective. It's told in a respectful way, but of course given the setting there are a lot of race-related plotlines. Everyone who worked on this is white, from a predominantly white country that has no history of systemic racism, and so am I; but I'm also online enough to be concerned about it potentially causing a backlash. Do you think it's likely?

victim to make mean comments at. like the first day in middle school i walked into the classroom, after having been very popular with other kids all my life, and a boy in my new class looked at me and said something like how disgusting it is that there's a fat girl in our class now. i wasn't even fat, i was just a bit chubby in the kid way and i probably would have outgrown it within a few years of growing. the girls made different comments about my personality and behavior, but the boys always went for my looks and sometimes for the fact that my family was poor. it really fucked me up big time. it's been over 10 years since i graduated, but i still feel that i'm unworthy of love unless i'm skinny. i keep telling myself that i'll find someone to love once i'm skinny, but i turn 30 next month and i'm still fat since i re-gained a lot of weight during lockdown. it sucks because i often see non-skinny women having boyfriends/husbands/etc but in my head i just can't accept that i can have that too as long as i'm fat. i'm a 30 year old khhv and i'll probably never overcome this because telling someone that you're absolutely inexperienced after the age of like 25 is just too embarrassing. i can't be emotionally vulnerable with men at all because i assume they're all monsters out to bully me. it hurts me deeply to realize that the boys who made my life a living hell are now grown men with great lives and not a care in the world, meanwhile i still suffer because they had to constantly point out how fat and ugly i was.

Being skinny didn't help me at all because I'm a kissless virgin to this day anyway. I also can't trust men for similar reasons but my own male family members absolutely didn't help it by either being violent abusers or serial cheaters. nonnie, I know it sounds like a cope but Nigels exist and they will love a chubby or fat girl as long as they’re nice. I’ve seen lots of nice girls who are chubby or even fat getting nice boyfriends who would die for them.
But also, stressing over being fat will only make you get anxious, you have to relax and take your time, who cares if you haven’t had sex? Or if you haven’t kissed someone? What matters is that you keep doing your best to find something you love, and once you love something, someone could find that you have more going on than just the need to be skinny.
And, some males won’t be shit as long as you meet them at the right places, like nice spots for hobbies and such, focus mostly on non-geek males, they’re a tiny bit less retarded.

I've worked in offices before, and at one of them I basically took care of the bureaucracy and paperwork for the people that actually went to do work on the street (water treating company), so what I did all day was basically entering numbers and info and street names and the employee that did it on forms, also I'd print the job orders and places they had to go. Since that was basically all that I did, some weeks were pretty busy and some others were pretty light.
For another place, I basically organized their books and other types of publications into their site and also into the company's system, and there were a lot of stuff to organize there.
The last one, which was the worst one by far, I did a bit of everything: book the boss' trips, buying stuff for the office, keeping the office organized, keeping track of the bills and what was sold, calling a lot of places, etc.
I like boring office work, honestly. I like to do some automatic boring shit and kinda shut my brain off, I feel less exhausted by the end of the day and can enjoy my hobbies when I get home. with regards to the whole innate thing, I really don't think men actually really instinctively oppress women, like when you look at men with regards to thwir ingrouo, they're actually really protective, and I think "considering women to be at an equivilent intelligence"
is something that could be taught etc so equal treatment should be acheiveable when it's views like that and not something like agressive behavior (which i feel like can be toned down via socialization but would still. be greater than that of a female taught the same)
hopefully that was coherent

https://www.jkrowling.com/opinions/j-k-rowling-writes-about-her-reasons-for-speaking-out-on-sex-and-gender-issues/What you described is still sex based discrimination. Misogyny stems from women being seen as the weaker sex, and we face a unique set of obstacles based on our biology (i.e. constantly fighting for reproductive rights). Sure a troon can experience misogyny, but only because ppl assumed he was a true woman. The moment they found out he had a dick, they would go back to calling him a man no matter how well he passed. Womanhood is more than perception, it involves the actual female body as well.

valid", you're just a homophobe. It's like saying you can shoot yourself in the face and survive. It may technically be true that it's possible that such a thing occurs and you survive, but in 99% cases it will kill you so telling people they "can" survive is immoral, misleading and harmful. So is saying gay people can like the opposite sex.
Saying "can" is just a way to justify corrective rape and harassment of gay people. Lesbians do not ever like or want men, male bodies or dicks. They CAN NOT change this, because they are lesbians. Saying they are in any way wrong for feeling this is blatantly homophobic, so is insisting they "can" like having sex with men. Perpetuating this idea is rape culture. Homosexual people have the right to be disgusted by the thought of doing anything sexual with bodies of the opposite sex. Straight people have the right to feel that way about doing anything sexual with the same sex.
It's like if you were told to fuck a camel, that's how utterly disgusting and unthinkable it feels to be told to sleep with someone you know you have 0 attraction to on every level.

What's in your bag? How do some people, men in particular, walk around with no bag or purse? Here's what I walk around with unless I'm just going down the street or something:
>wallet, phone, keys
>pen, notebook
>wet body wipes
>earbuds
>liptint, blush, chapstick, hair scrunchie
>5ml perfume atomizer
>face mask
>granola bar or some other small snack
>glasses
>a maxi pad and a tampon
>ibuprofen
>pepperspray
>2 oz sunscreen
>hand cream
>current book (try to keep it under 300 pages and paperback for weight/size), this takes up the most space though
This is what I've found I need if I'm going anywhere I will be away from home for several hours. I have experimented over the years with carrying less or more but I always end up with this list as my general setup. I try to keep things small so it sounds like a lot more than it looks but, yeah, I don't know how some people just walk around with only their pockets or those tiny phone purses. If you have patience and can tolerate loud noises you could go for it, but do learn a few things about pedagogy because it’s honestly necessary, so you can calm them down in case they get too dispersed.
Right now I’m doing my internships on teaching and hell, you really need lots of patience.

nonnie, I just scrubbed that scene with him licking the wine like a retard out of my mind. I tried to convince myself he's lying about having sex with so many girls, but I guess a sheltered Mormon would think he's cute kek

I'm very frustrated. I'm trying to order some expensive books online and I finally figured out which ones I want, but it's too expensive. The subtotal is under the amount on my gift card, but taxes are going to make it too much.
Does anyone know how to actually get online discounts/coupons for Thriftbooks.com? I've managed to do it before, but I can't find any right now. When I Google it, I click through all the various couponing sites, but all the codes are either fake or expired on the same day back in 2021. If I could get at least 10% off, I'll be able to make my order. I don't want to go back to these drawing board on the books I picked out. They're perfect already.

but say that about a good looking young guy who raped at a college party, or an average normal looking moid who when "a little too far" and it becomes a "harsh" or "extremist" thing to say.

what exactly counts a spicy white boy? I used to think it just meant handsome white guys from southern europe, but my friend posted some examples of "spicy white boys" she likes like half of them were blonde/brown haired and had colored eyes, I guess they were kinda tan but that's it, so I'm just confused more then anything, what exactly is the cut off from regular handsome white guy to handsome spicy white guy
No. 1133393
>>1133351"spicy white" just means not aryan anglo-saxon/WASP white. so mediterranean whites, mongol whites, white latinos and white-passing/white-mixed
PoC. It means "look white but there's something a little extra compared to 'bland' wonderbread type whites".
being handsome is not a requirement and women can be spicy white too.

I wish proper table etiquette was still a thing. I am always so embarassed when I go to a restaurant with people that can't follow the basic table manners. My mom once got mad at my brother-in-law because he didn't want to put his table napkin on his knees. People think I'm weird when I say "may I be excused from the table?".

>>1135848The only way I know of is to gain muscle and overall lose fat around your breasts area via chest exercises. I don't think wearing a bra or not changes things but I'm also not a doctor so idk.
I can confirm that those chest exercises - especially with weights - really do help to tighten up or overall reduce fat/sagginess in your breasts.
You might also not like hearing this but part of it may just be down to genetics or simply how your breasts are shaped. They're sacks of fat basically, they're meant to sag at some point! I have smaller boobs and although they improve when I do chest exercises, nothing can really stop them from turning outwards and sagging outwards a bit.

>>1135860Thanks
nonnie, this was helpful. I kind of thought that since boobs do not have muscle, exercising won't do much for them. The only 'exercise' I get is walking 30mins so I'm clearly not well-informed.
>You might also not like hearing this but part of it may just be down to genetics or simply how your breasts are shaped.I really don't like hearing this, but it's true. I just want to delay the sagging as long as possible.
