For what it's worth, I've been keeping an eye on Mariah's profile page. I don't have earlier screenshots, so you don't have to take my word for what I'm about to say.
I follow quite a few cosplayers. The IG profile page tells you if anyone you're following happen to follow Mariah, which many of you know by now.

The other intangible is the financial aspect. If people decide not to attend cons on account of a serial harasser and societal cancer like Mariah getting away with something this vile, then there's a likelihood that this will hurt somebody's chances of earning some extra cash, whether it's a venue, a company, a vendor, or a cosplayer.
So basically, the prominent names in cosplay aren't necessarily doing themselves any favors with this peace, love, and harmony facade.
