People here don't know how creative you have to be to make up for the distance between two people. Not all guys/girls are creative so they compensate by getting expensive gifts.
That shitty little bouquet screams I'm the cheapest and least creative. Something thoughtful would have been something like: finding out what her favorite flower is and either drawing said flower, commissioning it from a friend or a struggling artist, and framing it for her. I see that you were able to afford $40 worth of shit makeup, so you might wanna waddle your a=fat ass down to the grocery store instead of relying on Chinese takeout. Get a ton of fruits and veggies, (apples and peanut butter are my fav snack in the world), try to make your own salads with lettuce, tomatoes, carrots, radishes ect. Lean meats. Avoid tons of cheese, but if you have to, DO NOT get processed crap. It'll be expensive.
For the rest of the aisles, don't get anything processed. Try greek yogurt, home popped corn, sunflower seed kernels, nuts, soup (low sodium natural kind.) Really look into the organic brands, like Annie's, because they tend to have the least amount of processed crap in them. Eat granola cereal.
Also, please get some vitamins. Especially Biotin for your skin and hair. Fish oil is great too.

I love carbs and I went from eating instant mashed potatoes and bread to making a quiche, having a small slice with a huge feta spinach salad with a homemade vinaigrette. Overweight people tend not say "diet" because there is a fear of failing. This isn't her first attempt to lose weight, I would bet on it, and she obviously wasn't successful. I've worked with overweight/Bariatrics patients, and protein is the best choice for her. The apple, pretzels and apple sauce are carbs and she will be hungry in no time. People prepping for weight loss surgery, and even after surgery, are put on a high protein diet because it keeps you sated without the carbs that go right to fat when you're already carrying so much fat. I wish she had someone that knew what they were doing with a person her size. But she seems very resistant to any actual help. I've never seen her mention HAES. That is the scariest farce ever sold to people. You CANNOT be severely underweight or overweight and be healthy long term. You may be okay today, your lab levels may be within normal limits, but it will not last. Hopefully the lightbulb goes off.
