nonny. I bought a pen tablet a few years ago so I could do digital art on my computer instead of on my phone. It was nice at first, but then I eventually felt like I wasn't enjoying using it because I couldn't see where I was directly drawing on a screen and the tablet I bought was pretty big. So after a while I bought myself a pen display thinking that I would be more comfortable drawing directly on a screen, but I'm not really sure if I actually like it as much as my pen tablet. It just feels a bit clunky and odd to use plus it's annoying to set up and put away. NOW I've been thinking about how maybe I would like using an iPad instead because not only can I can draw directly on the screen, but being able to use your fingers makes things like moving around a canvas much easier and smoother. Plus it's a lot more portable than a tablet hooked up to my laptop, so digital art would be easy to do practically anywhere.
It's hard to know what exactly you like until you actually try it yourself, but sadly digital art tech can be a big investment so it's not easy to experiment before you find something you want. Were you buying different or the same models when you previously purchased your iPad? Maybe you can try buying something different from an iPad for digital art stuff? Idk I might just be rambling at this point but I hope you'll find something that works for you one day because I've lost the joy of doing digital art ngl kek

nonny, it's nice to know that someone understands what I'm feeling because I felt kinda silly being so down about it. I keep getting this nagging feeling that I need to try and play through as many vns as I can and as fast as humanly possible so that I can catch up to others, but I have to remind myself that it's not a race and I should just take my time enjoying things.
Also I haven't played Amnesia yet but it's on my to-play list! I'm currently playing Norn9 Var Commons and have completed about a third of all the routes. I've also been trying to play London Detective Mysteria but for some reason my PSVita emulator just likes to randomly crash on me while I'm playing that game specifically, so I haven't gotten past the prologue yet kek.
