Unrelated but I'm gathering spooky corridor pictures for some aesthetic thing I'm making and it reminded me of my time back when I was in college, we had a physics lab in the laboratory building, everyone finished early and left and only I and the professor remained. I finally finished my experiment and showed her and she graded me then left. I went back to my stuff and organized my bag and made sure I have everything on me before leaving and checked if the bus is out by the gates or not. I exited the lab then froze in the corridor. I forgot which direction I came from that leads to the elevator as this was the second or third floor. I never came to this building before and only did so for the physics laboratory and usually with a group of friends, this was the first time I had to navigate it alone. I opened my phone in hopes for calling for help because the building was empty and I was all alone in it, even the cleaning staff left because it was late at noon and their work ends by then. I kept going back and forth between corridors, doors that lead to balconies that connected to an opposite side of the building, the bathroom that had 2 doors each connected to an opposite side of corridor. It all looked the exact same. No signs. There were broken clocks hanging from the ceiling as well and red neon signs that were stuck at the same numbers and letters and made no sense. The emptiness and quietness started to get suffocating. Until…I found the fire escape stairs. Finally! Salvation! I went down the stairs as quick as I can, existed the building at last and saw the sun and fresh air again. The signal came back to my phone and I told my friends about this crazy experience and they promised to always wait for me and escort me out or at least make sure I know the way in and out next time. I ran to catch the bus and survived. But imagine what would've happened if I haven't? I'd stay there to the next day until someone finds me. The university didn't have means of contacting my family to tell them if something is off either and my parents wouldn't have known how to look up the number of the university to call it. This shit gave me claustrophobia of liminal space-like places. On a separate occasion I also lost my friends in a mall I went to with them for the first time ever and never been to before, I went to buy some jewelry as gifts to guests at home while my friends went to the parking lot, when I returned I didn't know which way they went to reach the parking lot, thankfully this time the phone signal works and I called and they came to pick me up and we got ice cream on the way out to calm me down. I legitimately can't go out to an unfamiliar place without a tardwrangler, kinda sad.

Later on that night I offer to draw her a diagram of how to pluck her eyebrows the way I did it. She refuses and states that she will never attempt it herself and instead just come to me. Okay. Apparently if you live for half a century without eyebrows they are a very scary thing.
