Thank god the DLCs were included because completing all three pokedex and exploring the open fields was way more fun than the main game, it was really weird. I loved X but after that one I keep being disappointed by more and more things, idk.

Has anyone else noticed how zoomers censor unnecessarily themselves across the internet as a result of tiktok censorship?
I guess there's a long, vague, list of words that if you say them or type them in a video or comment them, tiktok can either put your video into review or take it down or autodelete your comment or give you a ban warning. As a result, zoomers will say things like "unalive" instead of die/suicide/kill, "seggs" instead of sex, typical leet speak like "@$$," using emojis for context, etc. Some of the words they use make it difficult to take the content seriously, like "sewerslide" as a substitute for suicide.
Anyway, I've noticed that zoomers have taken word avoidance outside of tiktok onto apps like twitter where self-censorship if not necessary. I think it's pretty interesting and in a way, kind of similar to text speak that is now commonplace even though we don't have to deal with character restrictions or alphanumeric keyboards anymore. I'm curious to see if it will stick around.

So I've had this idea of a fictional matriarhcal world in the back of my mind for a while now, I wanna hear your all thoughts on it
Its set in a world where magic is real but only women are capable of using magic, this leads to women being the dominant sex in all the diverse nations of this world
however not all magic users are equal, the most powerful mages can lift mountains, destroy cities, reanimate the dead but most common born girls can only really do basic spells that help with day to day life
however all female magic users have one weakness, even the most basic spells require time to cast, usually 3-5 minutes
so all highborn mages have "knights" for protection, in this world a knight is the equivalent of a husband, a protector and a servant for his lady, all able highborn males are basically raised from birth to be knights
they are taught refinements, the arts and how to fight and serve their ladies but they are also selected on their beauty and grace as well as much as their fighting abilities

The result is beautiful white-and-brown rice, which is the most delicious thing you could ever eat. The texture is just perfect. My second favorite rice is yellow cinnamon rice with roasted peanuts and sultanas. It's so, so perfect. I can not emphasize how the sultana raisin taste amazing with the rice; they add that mind-blowing sweetness to it, which is better with the roasted peanuts. Literally patrician rice.

This shit is the fucking best. I found it at Costco and randomly bought it, and it's the best thing I've ever impulsively purchased. Grapefruit soda is, for whatever reason, kind of hard to find where I live. This isn't really soda as much as it's meant to be a mixer for alcohol, but I don't drink alcohol so I just bought it to drink. It tastes just as damn good as any soda and now I can have myself a nice soda treat without feeling guilty because there's only a whopping 7g of added sugar per bottle as opposed to 30g+ per fucking can of coke or some shit. I usually drink grapefruit seltzer but sometimes I want something a little sweet too. I love this shit. I'm enjoying a series so much right now that after every episode I feel a giddy buzz and I can't wait to start the next one but I'm trying to pace myself because I want to let this excitement last long and I don't want to binge and then forget half the plot, but it's so hard trying not to watch several episodes. It's been a long time since I watched a series that was this exciting and longer than 12 episodes, I feel like a kid discovering anime for the first time again. I just watched soul and I don’t know what to think about it. It kind of makes me feel like I indeed will never be remarkable, it’s kind of like when I watched a video of my favorite YouTuber talking about such things.
I just know I don’t have to be remarkable to be happy, but it makes me feel like if I can’t be a good person, I wish I could be remarkable so it could make up with my self-sabotaging behavior.
I wouldn’t mind self-sabotaging my relationships or health if I could do something important like creating something or discovering something. I’ve lost so much time trying to learn and find something I want to do, I never retain the information properly so I can’t be like those people who memorize stuff and repeat them, I even mix everything up and end up saying things that nobody understands.
Everyone says that you don’t have to be remarkable and that it doesn’t matter if you never did something but I want to be remembered for doing something that helped others or that is considered important.

Once when I was studying abroad in Japan, I used to often call one of the Japanese students I befriended. He was a part of my seminar and my professor introduced a couple of Japanese students who studied abroad/spoke English well to me and the other international students in our class, to help us adjust to classes and life in Japan. We all got along really well.
There was one night where I was just in the throes of my depression, felt like absolute dogshit, stayed in my dark room all day just being a sad piece of shit. I asked him if we could call and just talk, and I remember when we were talking he sounded like he was breathing a little heavy and I asked if he was ok. He said he was fine, he just got off the train a station early to walk home so he could call me sooner.
Time and time again he'll reach out and I'll apologize for my shitty behavior because I would swing back and forth between being okay and ghosting everyone because I was being a fucking crazy whackjob. I think I'm okay now. I haven't felt depressed in like two years, I work a good job and live a happy, healthy life. He recently reached out to me again. He was in my city for his masters degree but I avoided seeing/talking to him the entire time, and now he's back in Japan and has married his girlfriend (who is so beautiful and sweet!). I apologized again and again he said it was no big deal and it was okay. Similarly, there was a girl I met because she was also in our seminar, and she hung out a lot with me despite my Japanese being shit/her english not being that great. We'd hang out with this guy together too, but sometimes we hung out on our own, and she was the one who saw me off at the airport when I came back home.
I don't know what I've done to meet these people who are so kind to me and have put up with my shit for so long, but I'm grateful that they stuck by me despite meeting me and knowing me at my absolute worst. I hope when the borders open up again I can go visit Japan and see all of them. I really do miss them and I'd like to try my best to continue living at my best and not ghosting them again.

After a winter of research I have come to the conclusion that the minimum threshold temperature for my cat to want to lay in the grass when I take her outside is somewhere between 40-45F. Less than this and she will only sit in the dirt, but still desperately wants to be outside.
