>>2593548People have a hard time believing that bisexuality exists because homosexuality has such strong political, religious, and social baggage.
This baggage is the same reason that people pretend that they aren't gay for a long time, only to realize in middle-age that strangers' opinions on them don't matter. A lot of the fags that have had wives and kids only to come out as gay in their 30s and beyond come from repressive homes or cultures wherein homosexuality was disparaged.
Women will often be labelled as bisexual after one experience with a woman because women's sexuality has always been heavily speculated on and derided, more so than men's sexuality.
Being bisexual means that you are sexually attracted to both sexes, being homosexual to the same sex, and being heterosexual to the opposite sex. Someone that's gay can marry the opposite sex and live their whole lives with their spouse because of social factors.

Nobody would ever believe a woman claiming to be lesbian after fucking dozens of men even if she apparently didn't enjoy it, not even if she actually lived in a strict religious area. Also goes for the reverse, if a man claimed to be "straight" despite fucking other men for most of his life absolutely no one would buy that he "didn't enjoy it" kek. Honestly no one should believe whatever labels or identity men go by because it's always the opposite

>>2594073I used to be suicidal for most of my life, since childhood. I grew up in an
abusive household, got bullied badly in school, had gender dysphoria and autism, and grew up into a very stunted adult who felt worthless. Then I hit my 30s and now I'm fine. I don't even have depression anymore, which feels weird to type because I thought that cloud would never go away.
The major thing that changed for me was talking to people irl, both friends and strangers, and expanding the breadth of my understanding of the human experience. When I was actively suicidal everything felt so horrible and miserable, but reflecting on it I had a very self-absorbed pity party mindset. I felt super misunderstood, every mistake I made felt huge, I felt like my whole life was wasted by 24, I thought no one could understand the depths of my depression and it made me
so angry when people would tell me they knew how I felt. But after I started making an effort to engage with other people, I realized I was just like them in many ways, and that knowledge makes the weight of life easier to bear.
I almost expect my brain to react with suicidality when I face hardship, but these days I can just… face it. I think the key for me was realizing that suicidal ideation is (generally) not a literal desire to die, it's a desire for the suffering to end combined with learned helplessness. My desire to die was fueled by the misguided belief that I don't have control over my life and I could never be successful. Not true! Once I stopped thinking about death as an "option" it got a lot easier to face myself and cope.

No. 2594132
>>2594113Probably no. Women, compared to other marginalized groups, do not really have the ability to form large groups and unify under one cause. Think about it in this sense - a racial minority is often ostracized and they unify in that. They can freely form movements, culture, ideologies and fight for their rights. Women live in the same house as their oppressor, give birth to their oppressor, love and fuck their oppressor etc. Because of that, most women are in a deep denial about the level of misogyny that exists in our societies. Having said that, I don't think we live in a world "without racism" and I don't think we ever will. I do think that ethnic groups can create their own communities where they will feel less discriminated against and be able to be treated as an equal and women do not have that privilege. The biggest blackpill you can take is talk to normie women about misogyny and feminism and see how these ideas exist(if at all) on an extremely surface level in their minds, and they don't really give a single fuck about it. Well if women don't care, why would men?

>>2594113I think there will be. Women are much less dependent on men, most young women and girls now don't have the expectations of marriage and motherhood that their mothers had, and women can have their own lives and careers. It's not true in every country or culture, but it's the case for most of us.
Even the women who shill tradthottery drop the act the second their moid turns out to be a piece of shit
unless they're bippies but mental illness is always going to be an outlier or husband hop until they find The One who will fund her dreams of prancing barefoot in a flower meadow. That might sound regressive, but it's a huge step forward- women now have the option to pick and choose who they tie the knot with, and how often, and even if they complain about feminism they directly benefit from it. In a tradthot fantasy the man is an accessory and she's the main character, even if she pretends it's the other way round.
Women are overwhelmingly choosing to work before settling down, if they choose to settle down at all. It's normal for women to be childfree. Less women are dating, whether it's because of a lack of time or because of how shit the scrotes on offer are.
It's all leading to a massive shift in culture. Women have the freedom to make choices about their future that previous generations didn't have. Overwhelmingly, the choice doesn't center men. The misogyny we're seeing now is partly because of men seething at how they're not necessary or superior to women. The women who fall for their screeching are mostly very young and/or mentally ill or otherwise vulnerable, and looking for an escape. But the others are put off by their bullshit to such an extent that the 4b movement has taken off in the west and shows no signs of slowing.
It's a turning point in society and society's expectations. Our mothers and grandmothers, who by and large are still around today, were expected to stay with violent men and raise children while working. Their ideals, the way they treat their sons vs their daughters, and the way they react to moidal violence, does impact how we as women feel about our place in society. But it's generally a wake up call for how shit everything is and 4b wins again
or they troon out but the rate of detransing shows that this is for most women a tangent, not the final stop.
Men and their expectations are basically meaningless to women as a whole now that their choices don't dictate our lives. Women, even some older pickmes, are becoming increasingly disillusioned with men. We're drifting apart into two separate spheres with surprisingly little overlap. Men will fling shit at anything they don't like, that's expected. But it's going to reach a point where this behavior is punished by their social circle, like their influencer daddy figure speaking out about this behavior, or losing jobs over their actions. When this starts to happen, misogyny will plummet, because men need someone to bootlick and if their current overlord says being nasty to women is bad, you bet they'll listen.

Why exactly are non-white men so obsessed with white women? I'm white myself and don't get it, I really don't.
This is from that New York Mayor Zorhan, where he goes into detail about pathetically pining after white girls. You actually find the same sort of rhetoric in Obamas memoirs, and Franz Farron, and Du Bois, and basically every non-white racial agitator has a sneeding memoir moment where he crybabies about a white woman rejecting him.

Would you be a trad wife doing trad wife things (cooking and cleaning) IF "wives should give their husbands sex wasn't a rule"? Like, the hypothetical trad husband was secretly gay, asexual, or had his penis dissappear because it was blown whatever.
Kind of an unpopular opinion, but I legit wouldn't mind being a "housewife" and doing cooking and cleaning everyday (as long as the husband makes money of course)—but it's "you have to fulfill your husband neeeeeeeds in exchange for the roof on your head that he's paying for" idea that has always disgusted me.
So if YOU could be a trad wife minus the sex (and abuse) would you do it?

Idk what role this person plays in your life but if you’re in charge of meals, make them all healthier. Fatties can lose a lot of weight just through diet alone but exercise will improve their actual health and make them feel better/more encouraged. Invite them to activities that gets their body moving, even if its just a long walk every day. If they’re a lazy slob who watches tv all day, get them an indoor bike so they can bike and watch tv. Get a few light dumbbells, etc. so much you can do without having to force this person to go to the gym.

i learned that the reason why children seem so much more happier than adults are because of a few things happening in their brains, the first being the obvious that their prefrontal cortex isn't developed like ours are. this makes things like:
>time seems to stretch much longer when experienced as a child versus an adult
>letting their own imagination bleed into reality
>emotions feel deeper as a child versus an adult due to the early development of amygdala before the prefrontal cortex
>feeling a deep presence during play. they don't think about the past or the future, they're all about the NOW.
>because they're living life for the very first time, each new experiences every day is a novelty, and the dopamine system reacts strongly to these new experiences. once you've reach over the age of 25 or 26, these moments start to cease since you've already more or less experienced every thing there is to experience in life.
so then i wonder, isn't there a way for an adult to somehow experience the brain of the child without becoming mentally ill or retarded? or without the use of drugs such as shrooms or acid?

Lobotomies too, those were being done on the mentally ill in a clinical setting just like gender reassignment surgeries right now. The difference with raising the birth rate is that would be something that affects
every reproductive age woman, it's not as easy to enforce because the target demographic is not a sitting duck inside impoverished communities (like the sterilisation of black people in LATAM) or mental asylums. That's why they'd need a massive exercise in public force to
forcefully inseminate mostof all reproductive-age women, on top of abolishing the constitution which guarantees the personal right to Freedom of choice.

Some people will buy assets like this because they view the country’s economy as more stable than if they invested that money in their home country. In most cases it’s advantageous to have that property sit unoccupied and accrue in value than to rent it out and have it go through wear and tear.
For apartment complexes, they are operating at a level where they assume X amount of apartments will not be rented but it doesn’t matter if those that are rented are being rented at a premium price. Companies have formulas to calculate what they can charge the most for rent and make the biggest profit. Even better that some apartments aren’t occupied so they don’t have to pay the cost to clean or remodel it.

>>2601682Technically the dead CAN be brought back to life sometimes by being resuscitated, and people can be successfully resuscitated multiple times, but magic isn't involved in that, and the resuscitated patients don't immediately die of sepsis. So potentially, depending on the state of the body when it's brought back, the side effects of necromancy could be managed by taking a shitload of pills and doing special exercises to keep everything moving around. If a recently deceased person had a special pacemaker and some pumps installed, and had a ton of medical supervision and blood transfusions and dialysis, they might be able to come back to life normally, since that's not too far from what comatose patients have to keep them alive, and if they're that recently deceased they won't have decomposed enough for it to be a problem. If necromancy removes the need to eat and drink the stomach and intestines can be removed to reduce the risk of sepsis (if that's even a risk, I imagine normal decomposition is more of an issue).
I guess the worst part is the brain decomposing. Losing all your memories and thoughts and knowing that you can't be brought back again would be awful.

The west tends to have these scary delusions and oftentimes they are culturally grounded, for instance the 90’s saw an increase in delusions about technology because of fears about y2k. But in places like India the delusions will be about your family. Imagine having a delusion but it’s just your long deceased family member telling you nice things. It sounds pleasant.

victim was just 15.
In a similar vein, mentally-ill people are thrashed in rituals, because people think that they are possessed. Once, when I went to visit my mother's side of the family during summer holidays, one of my aunts dragged me to a tantrik who essentially tried to waterboard me and beat me with a stick. I could have been seriously crippled if my mom had not intervened. She never took us back to the village again. All of this drama was over the fact that she saw me laughing while reading a book, and thought that I was possessed. Sure, I behaved in a weird manner thanks to the 'tism, but this was apparently what prompted her to secretly take me to some quack. Does not help that she was functionally illiterate kek.
There are country-wide delusions here as well, like believing that our current PM is the tenth avatar of Vishnu, or that ayurvedic medicine actually works.
Compared to that, US nutjobs ranting about 5-G sound tame.

Even in remote African villages you will see them wear t-shirts and other donated clothes in addition to some traditional item of clothing, but that doesn’t seem as prevalent in South Asia. Obviously you can buy western clothing there, it just doesn’t seem as popular for whatever reason? Just curious why that’s the case.

I think they reach a point where making platonic friends seems implausible. Taking sex out of the equation means they have to rely on social skills. Being bi wouldn't solve this either. I don't want to be attracted to men at all, yet I am. And I know I fall for people easily. I tried dating women and it didn't go well. But if I were actually attracted to my last ex-gf, I would have wanted to marry her. She was very beautiful and precious to me, but I couldn't feel any attraction. Necklaces, bracelets, earrings can be hit or miss. If there are reviews always make sure to read them. Not everything has reviews if you're going for a cheaper listing, so be wary you might receive a dud product. Always look at materials and measurements for clothes.

Anons, should I keep this (slightly toxic) friend or let her go?
We used to go to college together years ago, where we mostly bonded over a stupid crush on one of our professors, which was not serious for me. I recently ran into her while I was shopping and it turns out the crush was serious for her, she got into an affair with him, broke up his marriage and baby trapped him. She seems really disillusioned right now, their relationship is not that interesting to her anymore and she doesn't feel like a mother at all to their child (who is most likely autistic too, imo). I was shocked by all this but I'm bad at forming friendships and I was happy to have her so we met up a few times.
The thing that bothers me is that she seems super insecure and takes anything I say as bragging and constantly tries to one up me. I am planning to move abroad soon and naturally am very excited about it, and talked at length about the process, the language learning, the paperwork, etc. to which she reacted negatively and told me it was pointless to move, life is not any better abroad (which I disagree with, we live in a shitty Eastern European shithole and the country I'm moving to has an objectively higher standard of life). She also made a point in letting me know that she is getting a promotion, drives a company car and they are looking to move to a better district and might even buy a house soon. It seemed like she was jealous and tried to compensate for it. Most of our conversations follow this pattern. I should add that she also doesn't have any friends.
Should I keep this toxic friend just to have one or is it better to be alone?

Pole dancing is a relatively popular hobby in more liberal areas and everyone has an OF now. Sex work in general is something we're all becoming more desensitized to. I personally think it's weird to just go to a strip club the same way you'd go to a bar, but I don't think it's a bad thing that women go to strip clubs since it makes scrotes mad that their alpha male mancaves are being infected by cooties.
I can definitely see someone in a pole dancing class getting a gig at a strip club and her friends from class going there to cheer her on, or desperate influencers trying to stay relevant going to strip clubs and filming behind the scenes content and inspiring idiot normie women to go there to hang out with the strippers.
It's the age of zero self awareness when everyone puts everything that's slightly out of the norm online. I'm sure that a lot of those women just turn up to see what it's like, carry on going because it gets them attention, and it goes the way of burlesque, which used to involve women fucking themselves naked on stage with hot dogs and now involves thembies doing a Zelda themed striptease that doesn't even uncover their sizable torsos.

My family was poor at the time so we couldn't take the plane and it was before low cost airlines were what they currently are. Now the weather reports I see for Spain seem way worse than back then. The real issue with Europe in general but especially with Southern Europe is that it's very hot but the sun sets very late so temperatures stay high at night too. I've seen plenty of people from countries in Asia that are supposed to be worse complaining about the heat in London or in Europe in general and it seems they come from places where you can find ACs in public and private places easily and the sun sets early enough that you can still spend some time outside with a more decent temperature. Where I live if you want to go outside when it's hot but not too hot it's maybe at 2 am and there's nothing to do anywhere at that time unless you want to get attacked by some bored drug addict or if you want to deal with thunder.
On the other hand it used to snow a lot when I was a kid until the end of high school and it was veey dangerous even in the few parts where the city would put a lot of salt on the ground to make everything melt faster, now it's snow a few minutes every winter in total so the snow melts just a few seconds after reaching the ground.

How do I stop wanting to help and improve the life of everyone around me? My personality is cheerleader with a get-it-done attitude but contrary to what kids cartoons told us people do in fact not want help improving their lives and even suggesting to help is pretty rude. Is it really that odd that I want both myself and others to grow and improve our lives? And further than that, it's also because Europe like America is mainly a Christian continent. So our knowledge about Christianity is far far greater than about Islam or any other religion. >>2611238If you have overeated to the extend that you are overweight your stomach being streched is reasonable. It takes some time for it to go back to a normal size. Eating excessively makes it more stretchy so you might not feel full like you normally would.
If you are overweight you should already have a calorie decifit from eating the "normal" amount (depending on what you eat/drink. I snacked on candy and drank a lot of beer). Usually these changes start with a more drastic calorie decifit so your stomach has time to go back to normal so you feel when you are full, but it is not sustainable in the long run since you need to relearn how to eat hence it's how you eat for the rest of your life. This does not mean you can not have treats/greasy foods. Moderation is the key.
Try to eat as slowly as you can. It takes about 20 mins for your stomach to say to your brain that you have food in you/you are full. If you are still hungry after that take some more. But I also feel like you might have an ED so I can not say anything other to that than to encourage you to seek help. Please do not stop eating, you would only swap one ED to another.

OK, really stupid and random question that I think is only bothering me because I’m high. I started watching Slow Horses and noticed that they refer to a Pakistani character as British-Asian, and I’ve noticed Brits and other countries do this as well—mentioning the continent instead of the country. Is there a reason why in Burgerland we always specify the specific country (like, that character or any person would be referred to not as Asian, but Pakistani)? I’ve noticed that a lot of Americans don’t think of brown Asians as actual Asians, so I was kinda wondering if it was that, but I feel like we do it even for Europe, Africa, etc. Am I just thinking too much into it?

>>2612336I genuinely don't think she would have cursed the baby if she was invited and she might have even given her a nice gift just to flex her magic on the three good fairies. Fairies in the old myths and folklore were very prideful so I think she just took the lack of invitation as an insult.

>>2612336Maleficent was evil and petty. I feel like if she was invited she would've chilled out. Slighting the self styled Mistress of Evil was a dumb move politically. Deal with the demon dragon woman later.

>>2612359Maybe, fairies were mischievous beings who were known to steal/play tricks on children, so it's possible they didn't invite her for Aurora's safety and it just backfired kek. To be fair they
usually did that after an adult in the village had already pissed them off but still.

Is it possible that the style of a blouse can make me look worse than other types of clothes? I usually wear graphic tees a lot, so I decided to try out a blouse, but I can’t help feeling like I look more frumpy in it than in my tees. I feel like my boobs look saggy and like I look bigger than I actually am. I even tried on a few of my sister’s blouses and it was the same deal, I looked like a wrestler in female clothes kek, and again, my boobs looked saggy. That doesn’t really happen (at least I don’t think it does) with t-shirts or button-ups. In fact, I think I actually look pretty good in button-up shirts.

>>2612351Idk this exact, particular thing annoys me for some reason. I think it's bc of reddit but instead of
>akshually the thing you all know is wrong and it's really this waybut skipping that and just assuming everyone should already know the "correct" obscure thing. It's like pretending you didn't grow up with the version everyone knows about. Then that anon will say
>well I'm actually thirdie/fundie/helen keller so this is just the way I know itwhen that is also bullshit, I've never seen star wars but if I found out darth vader was actually luke's gay uncle, I wouldn't post that as if it were common knowledge, ykwim anon? Thanks for asking tho, this felt good to talk about

Why do ABBA's melodies make me sad? Many of their songs evoke a feeling of deep sadness for me, especially Dancing Queen. Not the lyrics, but the notes and harmonies. Is it written in a key normally associated with sad music? Am I merely autistic and emotionally misinterpreting the song?
No. 2612468
>>2612451I don't know much music theory, but I agree that even their songs in major have a very wistful sound to them
I get the same vibes from J-pop, where even if the lyrics and tone are happy, there's always a lingering sadness in the sound
Maybe it's the use of sharper and less resolved chords? Whatever it is, I don't think you're misinterpreting anything! I'm neurotypical and feel that it's an intentional part of their sound

>>2612451I'm no music expert but the tone and the slowness of the song are indeed things I would accossiate with more emotional music.

>>2612077I did it because I’m a hopeless romantic. My husband did it because he is as well. We like the idea of mating for life like a pair of lovebirds and too often people give up on love and each other. We’re autistically loyal. it’s very rare to find someone reliable, responsible, committed, and obsessed/in love with you who doesn’t give up easily when the times are tough. Being motivated to give as much as possible to the other person because you love them makes that other person try just as hard. Once complacency sets in, love and romance dies so be wary of that in long term relationships. My husband is very moralistic and true to his word and takes his wedding vows very seriously. I’m so happy he is living up to them and didn’t lie about them like most men.
Honestly, living together as a team makes life more bearable. It’s already hard, facing it alone is so difficult but having someone who has your back and you have his makes it less scary. Im still scared if one of us dies and leaves the other alone though. We’d probably die of a broken heart if the other goes first haha.
