I think I have finally figured out what's causing my bruxism. I'm actually really confused as to why it's not mentioned when discussing its possibles causes because it all seems so obvious now. I was born with a tongue tie and had it corrected at around 4 years old, I also corrected a speech impediment at around the same age. Because of the tongue tie I've had a narrow palate since early childhood, had to get braces later in life. So, only now that I'm in my 20s I'm realizing I've had an improper tongue posture my entire life. Nobody ever noticed it because I don't mouth breathe and my jaw doesn't look underdeveloped, I have a square jawline, my chin is receding a little bit but not overly so, I never even noticed it.
So, the obvious solution to my bruxism problem should be to change my tongue posture but I find it really difficult and uncomfortable because of my narrow palate. I also feel like I'm only tensing my jaw more when I try to do it. I can't do the suction hold thing. Is it even worth it to try and change my tongue posture as an adult? If it's not going to bring any benefits it probably won't help with bruxism either. God, I feel like I've had all sorts of ortho problems my entire life, scoliosis, knock knees, flat feet, ribs sticking out in unnatural ways… At least all of those are moderate and not very noticeable, I've only had physiotherapists and doctors take notice.

I like to eat very bland, tasteless carbs all the time, like oats, peanuts, crackers and tons of bread. I love bread goddamn. nail tech here. gel polish isn't causing your nails to break, a bad nail tech with poor skills is. make sure they are soaking it off, not sanding it off completely(some sanding is needed at the beginning). and don't let them use "magic gel remover, it's turpentine that will 100% destroy your nail, magic remover is painted on and busts up the polish. swap techs next time. it's hard to do gradient with polishes. and go to a place that does a dry manicure and doesn't clip the cuticles.

It's sheer, it would probably would for dark skin tones. Whenever a nail polish color doesn't fit me, I just turn it to a "jelly" polish by mixing it with some clear and it works most of the time. And you can also always just tweek the colors to get the same effect in a more flattering way. Like a light pink to pink, instead of white to pink.

Been gardening. I've got two climbing rose bushes in the front garden, I just need to get a trellis. Some pretty purple flowers came up that were part of a wild flower mix I used last year.

Planted some grape hyacinths in the back planters, and a shady flower mix, too. I have a lot of weeding and leveling out to do still, it's quite a big backyard and very rocky, but I'm trying to do it in small sections so I don't get too overwhelmed. Also saw a hummingbird this morning so gotta make some sugar water for them. Considering some raised beds for herbs, strawberries, tomatoes. Oh and gotta plant my marigolds and zinnias. Anyway, it's still my day off, so I'm gonna watch some youtube gardeners and drink more coffee.

I FINALLY booked the train ticket and hotel for my concert trip this month. It will be my very first solo trip but I'm so hype because it's for a concert and I really hope that it will be great weather on the day of the concert (since it's open air) and that I won't have my period. This will come off as super desensitized, it's also because i've never experienced or had anything like that happening close to me but lately i've been getting kind of irritated when i hear about certain crimes on the news.
I've started to not be able to ignore the stupidity of the premeditated murderers, even the most cruel cases, like how can you pay a killer just because you don't want to give child support, as if no one would ever found out that you were the one behind it, how can you kill your family because you want to be single and have a new life with some other woman, and so on.
There is literally no chance to get away with it and these selfish psychos should do better instead of stealing someone's life like that, how can they not realize it, even the coldest ones that think they can fool the entire world, you've just sentenced yourself to prison when you could have just walked away.
