It's not for everyone and it's lengthy, but it's an interesting thought experiment that deals with identiy and family crisis. As the AIRT mentions, a lot of old media has some casual racism or sexism, sometimes even undermining the overall narrative which is against them. You can discuss this, you can disagree, and yes you can skip the stream—but don't demand others to do so. It's one thing to view an overtly sexist or racist movie and ignore those issues or condone them. This isn't the case, in my opinion.
Instead of banning movies because someone is uncomfortable with them, let's post a link to DoesTheDogDie (or a diferent website if this one doesn't warn about sexism, racism, homophobia etc.) as a standard, so anyone can judge if they want to watch the movie.

There is a risk that some anons may not be able to watch the GDrive movies. Cytube is becoming harder to use, so we may need to switch to Kosmi eventually until Nonason is able to find a work around or a new platform that works for everybody.
If the script has worked for you before, it most likely will keep working, though we've had instances of anons who have lost the ability the watch Google Drive movies despite being able to before. There is currently no solution for this from the developers of the script or cytube.

I have a solution for the Google Drive Script problem on Cytube, but I need your cooperation and the least stress possible. I need you to be patient and listen to me
nonny. I'm going to tell you how I do it so maybe it helps you too. Please note I'm not a tech-saavy person but this still works for me pretty well:
Step #1 Download the Opera Web Browser for your operating system:
https://www.opera.com/Step #2 Next, I want you to add this add-on for Opera, that will let you get any Chrome extension:
https://addons.opera.com/en/extensions/details/install-chrome-extensions/Be sure that the add-on is turned ON in your toolbar
Step #3 You will have to add the Tampermonkey Beta extension for Chrome on your Opera Web Browser (works better for me)

Hey nonnies, it's the movie admin (nona). I'm officially retiring from movie nights! When the other admin and I first set up this room together, I guess we were looking for something a little more casual and things just sort of snowballed into this big organized event thingy. I'm getting really tired of the schedule and the recent cytube issues. This was just supposed to be for fun, but now it's a responsibility that takes up more time in my life than I'm comfortable with. I am not giving up Tunesdays and I will continue to host those every Tuesday like normal. I'm also gonna keep streaming in the room, but it'll be more like the early days of the room where I just pop on Moomins or Sabrina the Teenage Witch and we just chill. I'm also going to be hosting a lot of reality TV shows.
The schedule will remain, the mods who are interested will continue to show and schedule movies, so this doesn't mean the total end of movie nights. And of course, other anons are welcome to host whatever they want, whenever they want. The other admin anonita will be showing all scheduled movies for the month of July, and then she will be retiring as well. The last movie night I'll be hosting will be The Cheetah Girls trilogy on Friday, July 15th. Thanks for attending movie nights nonnies, it meant a lot to me! I've made a lot of amazing friends in the Cytube room and hope to continue to do so, without the added stress.

>And a little announcement beforehand:After the last weekend of august, I'm going to stop hosting movie nights on a set schedule. I'm starting a formal job related to my career in september, and I desperatedly need to move on with my life onto new things. That doesn't mean that I will simply stop showing up or hosting movies here and there whenever I feel like it or have the free time to do so. I love watching things other nonnies, because everyone always has very interesting, funny, or smart commentary, and I just have such a wonderful fun time whenever I attend. I love going to the cinema with friends, and it feels super cozy watching certain things here with everyone. What I'm trying to say is,
movie nights will continue, but on a much more relaxed way. Like nonason said before: No set schedule, anons are free to watch and stream whatever they want and whenever they please, with a bit more spontainety (either on cytube or kosmi, that's up to the hosts. Just remember kosmi is a bit easier). We still need more mods, but that's because we need people in case some scrote comes in and we have to ban him. In any case, things will continue and this thread will continue. Tarot anon also told me she will continue giving reads from time to time, so that's a plus. And finally,
we're always going to host Eurovision, that's not going away, ever. Until this website dies, Eurovision with the nonnies will be a yearly tradition. It's just too fun not to do it! I loved it so so much and I know most of you did as well.

Idk if my problem with cytu.be not working for gdrive is resolved now. Last time I had to watch via gdrive. Tampermonkey and co didn't do anything for my chrome. but since then chrome had updates. Maybe that did the trick?

I found a solution for this red error that personally did work for me right now: Allow all cookies. You can do this for movie nights and then delete them or switch to not allow after the movies are over.
Here's what the cytube overlords have said about what else might work:
>Google Drive playback on CyTube may require fixes such as requiring users to enable third-party cookies, disable privacy-enhancing functionality in their browsers, and remain logged in to Google accounts in order to view the content.
