Let me put it in perspective, when a man is financially successful, he specifically does not want his girlfriend/wife to be employed. Why would a financially successful man ever want an employed wife? It would make no sense.

She would drain large amounts of her time into work, which is time that could be spent on housework, cooking, shopping, child raising, and giving him sexual pleasure. Instead she would spend her day at work and then come home very bitchy, tired, and permanently non-feminine from working.

Successful men do not want employed women, the more money you make the less value you have to successful men.

This is false, I know waaay too many people that have met in a work like environment and have dated for years, some even married now. The developer and the designer in our company have been dating for almost 10 years (they married 3 years ago) she makes more money than him and my boss and his wife actually work in the company together (she in charge of accounting and he is the lead designer and ceo of the company) hm I also have a friend who has been dating the same girl who he met in university and who he works with as well… I have many many many stories similar to those. So this is false actually some men do prefer women who work because those women have a drive and are ambitious. Both parties should agree if you dont want your partner to work, it's not just the mans saying in this, both need to consent to this. I've been successful moms who are good at taking care of their kids and do well at work. Or, they're very rare exceptions of financially successful (but obviously deranged) men who actually prefer their wife to work. Almost all successful men _don't want_ employed wives is still true.
