Meh, I just watch anime for free and I'm too poor to cosplay. I know some Japanese but wouldn't exactly call myself a weeaboo.

I'm not sure. I have always been interested in many other cultures, Japan has just happened to put out a lot of quality manga, anime and games with great storytelling. Sometimes I get embarrassed because I have tattoos of things from Japanese games that I like a lot, and at times having discussions about said games in response to the tattoos is extremely awkward for me. I'm in the latter end of the 20s and I dress like a little girl more often than not and I'm with someone who is generally ok with all of this but he has kids my age (they're estranged along with the delusional mother) and sometimes I wonder what they would think of me if they even so much as saw me. I think there's something wrong with me.

I'm 20 and I have some classic lolita clothes. Hate sweet lolita and the new ita-weebish designs. So I think I'll stick to classic and never try other styles. I like classic lolita clothes, they don't scream 'weeb' and I don't wear any childish prints. I wear it because the dresses are pretty.
I don't cosplay, I don't time for that. But I'd cosplay some characters.

Sailor Moon had pretty transformations and DBZ had cool fight scenes with hot guys. Mom also watched some anime with me as well and even rented things for me she randomly picked out at the video rental place. That's how I ended up watching Tenchi, Cutie Honey, Slayers, and sanrio movies. She encouraged my drawing as far back as I remember buying me tracing paper, pencils, map colors etc. and I would go from tracing Disney and Lisa Frank in elementary school, to making my OCs in junior high. She'd listen to the stories I'd come up with for them. My mom is to blame lol but she's awesome.

I only really dress jfashion-y at cons where it's less weird but that's mainly because I don't have the confidence to wear it out in everyday life. But I don't even have crazy pieces, most of it is Liz Lisa which is pretty normie, but I still feel like shorts with flowers and a fancy top just attract too many stares. It's not so much that it's jfash but more that it's a fashion that isn't very common where I live so whenever I wear it I get lots of comments/stares and I don't like being that much in focus, lol.

I still cosplay sometimes. Making costumes is really fun. Plus, seeing people get excited and happy when I dress as their favorite character makes me smile. No, I don't. I'm fine with liking childish things.

I've never cosplayed in my life and will never get into it, but however I have friends who do. They enjoy it as a hobby and respects the culture, they probably do it because they consider it fun. It's funny that the most interesting people I've ever met are under the term of "wo/manchild", especially from millennials and Gen Z because they're known to be the generation that has trouble thinking of what they're interested in and their hobbies.
