Either way, cosplay something that probably doesn't show too much skin/stomach/thigh/wherever your fat distributes the most if you're that insecure about it or get a corset. Though honestly, if your costume fits, is well made, and your makeup/wig looks nice, people hardly notice. I've seen a lot of qt chubby cosplayers, pic related is a classic.
