If it isn't about sex and wealth, the vast majority of rap music is about gang violence, killing, raping, misogyny, drugs, the moid's ego, the moid's hurt feefees which are often the consequences of his own actions, or white supremacism. Exceptions exist but they're very few and far between, and usually decades old or made by some obnoxious millennial or zoomer hipster. If a rapper writes songs about an actually good topic that isn't any of the above, the rest of his or her material will probably be about it anyway. To get into rap, you have to actively ignore all the disgusting shit they talk about in most of their lyrics.
If we don't take the meaning/content of the lyrics into account, rap is awesome. But it's a male-dominated genre for a reason. It's misogynistic as fuck, like other genres. Of course there are racists who dismiss rap because it's an African American genre, but any sane woman would find it extremely difficult to get into the genre because of all the casual misogyny embedded into hip-hop culture.
