it's like none of these retards really understand why the far right is growing after decades of being out of power and don't offer any solutions to the pressing issues(migration and housing) and are just whining about it

Is it just here in Czechia or everywhere in Europe that potato chrisps are fucking expensive these days? I couldn't buy a pack the whole year because they aren't even on sale ever. Anybody knows why they are so damn expensive? Fucking Pom-bar s 3,2 euro wtf?! Lays 3,1 euro. That's a lot for a bag of air and oil. Just 2 years ago i bought big bag of Lays for 1,6 euro.
Is the EU trying to make people healthy this way or why did the shops decided chips, one of the cheapest food to make, would be a good idea to make expensice now?
I am going to bake my own now because i bought 1kg of potatoes for 0,4 fucking E like a normal person.

>>2306759Are you talking about the small or big bag of chips? The big ones are around 2 and 3 euros last time I checked my grocery store, and the one I picked was from that one fancy britbong brand so it was above 3€. I'm french for context, since prices might be different in each country.
>Is the EU trying to make people healthy this wayEach country has its own laws, I don't think the EU can impose anything to achieve this goal on EU countries. Free refills here have been banned for a few years now
and I'm still mad and iirc there are additional taxes on sodas but that doesn't seem to be the case in other countries in western Europe.

>>2306779>Each country has its own laws, I don't think the EU can impose anything to achieve this goal on EU countriesThey absolutely can. Tons of (consequenses of) laws you deal with everyday are EU law. If the EU wants to introduce sugar or fat taxes they can in theory do so and all EU countries would have to comply. EU countries have their own laws too but it's of lower rank than EU law.
In this case I'm pretty sure it's just inflation/shrinkflation though.

>>2306779Big bags but the small ones aren't far behind so they don't pay off even more. Sodas got a but more expensive too so maybe we have some extra taxes on them too, but i think we'll get the big sugar tax soon.
>>2306794I made friens in the end, they were okay hehe
>>2307139I stopped bying them too and i alsto stop buying sodas as much… thought i'll lose some weight surviving on bread and cherries from my epic tree but i'll still fat kek

>>2306759In my family we always only bought no name chips and other snacks (unless we had friends over) and those are still ok price-wise imo.
Fresh food is much worse. Meat has always been insanely expensive and because I worked in a bakery I can't help but notice that the prices for bread and so on nearly doubled within just a few years.
The absolute worst however are fruits. I'm allergic to most local stuff like apples and nearly everything else is insane, e.g. 100 grams of berries can easily be over 4 or even 5 euros. Sometimes they have non-branded versions of fruit too but so often half of it is already rotten (Just last week I accidentally stuck my fingers into a completely mushy orange in a store…) Humans are supposed to eat multiple servings of that per day, how would that be possible? You either have to buy them frozen, which is not as good or you eat too little healthy food.

>>2308893I'm lucky that i live near a lot of free berries so i always pick a ton and can and freeze them, but good to know that even fruit is expensice i never buy it so i wouldn't know.
Just yesterday they said on the news that flour will be expensive from now on because "grain is low quality and will be used to feed the cows" Like bicth how can grain be low qality, i literally live next to a filend with the fattest grains i've ever seen. Flour was the last cheap food.
