Who are some of your favorites and who can't you stand?

Do you feel like any artists have gotten worse because of the influences there?

(Posting gingerhaze because she's the most tumblr artists I can think of btw, not because I think she's any good.)

I like some photographers there, they're p decent. The others are mostly shitty snapshit with an edgy filter type stuff so I rarely bother.

Out of people that draw/paint, I like archiaart's stuff though she doesn't seem to draw as much anymore. I wish she'd update Enthrall already.

I don't get petitepasserine's art at all, it's just some pastel gibberish to me. I don't speak SJW special snowflake though so I guess it's to be expected.

I kinda like some of Anna Beaton's stuff.

The rest is just plain unfunny and forcibly cutesy 'relatable' teehee #sotrue fodder. Especially Sarah Anderson or anything illustrating anything about introverts.

I'm in the minority, I like a lot of artists on Tumblr. It's mostly because before discovering Tumblr I wasn't really into art, but the site opened me up to all these cool lowbrow artists and helped me git gud at figuring out what looks good aesthetically and what looks like absolute shit.
I just kind of inherently appreciate them all even if I'm not into the stuff they post, idk.
My favorites are milklace, witnesstheaburd, sterility + sonelion (I know, I know), Nataly Ambramovic/Kukulaland, shoppingcartfullofpinkturd and Saccstry. I specifically like Saccstry because her art makes me feel like even things people consider disgusting or ugly can be beautiful, while sterility and sonelion's shit just resonate with me for some reason (I put them in the same place because they both have a specific theme). I don't know why. The more "graphic" stuff tends to strike me as distasteful pandering rather than just brutally honest recounts, though.

Tumblr kind of got me into art as well. Even if you're someone who thinks all Tumblr artists are trash, plenty of people share works by other artists and links to outside sources to explore.
