When you write something in a journal, it is usually tucked away unseen forever. Sometimes I wonder what other people journal about, what types of things we feel we can only discuss with ourselves.

If you have an ongoing journal, you can post an entry from it here. Or you could use this thread as a place to check in and write one every so often. You could also post here about how you use journaling, what you hope to get from it, insights you've gained, etc. Or you could just pass this thread by, since I don't know how many people other than me actually journal.

I realize now that this thread is pretty similar and has some overlap. I did intend for this one to be more of a "post your writing" thing but I can see that it could be considered redundant and if so I'll take my ban.

Same, that's part of the reason I journal digitally. Another reason is I live with other people and I don't want anyone snooping through a physical journal. The last reason is that for some reason, I find I can type things that I struggle to find the courage to write down on paper.
