If that was true, Mason would have said way more about that. That is a very serious accusation, but he literally didn't say more than "her being bored and wanting to do stuff, when he did homework" and Brittany generally being bored around him.
That doesn't mean he wasn't allowed to go to college. He did. He failed. And he blamed Brittany.

Maybe. Maybe she just acted very reaonable, because she was recorded and so would come off better. Women can be very intelligent like that. I don't see why I should judge her for it. That's like blaming someone for filming an attack on him as "provoking", because he filmed it in the first place.

And considering how unbelievable it all sounded, when she described it, it was good to have proof of it. It's also quite telling how just annoyed/like she was in that exact situation a ton of times. You don't just randomely start recording things in a relationship.

We don't know who leaked it. But I guess it still would be on Brittany, because she would have had to share it with somebody. She was holding the camera after all.

But it's hard to be on Mason's side, considering what he said about her on Ralph's discord. That was not really civil and respectful. But I guess you can just be a cynic and say that's just Brittany being more reasonable and civil for strategic purposes.
Also keep in mind that while they were at the "it's complicated state" and Brittany thought he just moved back to his homestate to get mental help, Mason slept with a girl on tinder. And then get salty, because Brittany found out about it and it was then her who broke it up with Mason finally.
