You don't treat dysphoria by playing a game of pretend. There is no way to change your sexual identity. Getting surgery is no way to treat ANY type of dysphoria or dysmorphia, it's been statistically proven. You treat it with therapy and medication. Unfortunately, there is no money in that industry, and the transitioning/sexual reassignment industry is a LOT of money. It is so jarring because when you look at how risky it actually is (not just on your mental state but on your physical health, ovarian cancer is the #1 killer of F2Ms who have had hysterectomies and been on T) you can't imagine why it would be pushed as the best solution… but then you remember that it's all about the money, and tumblrinas like yourself buy into it while pretending to actually know what its like.
