Why do you follow internet lolcows/snowflakes? Morbid curiosity? Boredom? Know one personally?

I guess for me it's a combination of morbid curiosity, boredom, and, in a weird way, reminding myself of the awful things that people do so that I don't do them. Not that I would go full Magoo on anyone, but she's a reminder that I can't put all of my self-worth into other people.

i like to study people's behavior, and it is similar to a grand guignol

also when the cows provide no milk, the farmers will do so themselves as they turn on eachother, seeking anything to quell the drought. that's my favorite part

it's fascinating

I just genuinely like seeing a some of them (for instance Venus is cute, and PT can sometimes be charming in her weird oblivious way). The rest are just funny, or relaxing because it reminds me that things are going pretty well for me comparatively, so I worry less.

It's definitely morbid curiosity for me. I just love watching the train wreck that occurs and like >>83150 said the shit that happens when there's a lull in the milk is pretty entertaining.

When I was on /cgl/ I used to be an edgy kid who loved to laugh at people who were clearly better than me. Then I ended up here. Now I'm an adult I will stay here but I dont really laugh at others anymore. I mean I was planning on leaving but there are now more boards to the point its not just about lolcows anymore.

It's kind of like reading the tabloids. Following the drama can be interesting/funny.

Is it bad that I mostly watch the trainwrecks that are lolcows to feel better about myself?

I also just like watching them out of curiosity, it's interesting to see what kinda crazy shit people get up to when they don't understand social norms.

For me it's morbid curiosity, but I mostly stay on /b/ because I think it's a good place to talk about everything and anything on anon, unlike some boards on 4chan. I found this site thanks to /cgl/.

Lolcows are like alternative kardashians. All the drama and dumb shit in a way more internet-savvy habitat. It's entertainment in the same way celebrity gossip is entertainment, only I don't feel sorry for cows like I do celebs and nobody is trying to sell me a tabloid on Mira or Ashley.

Mostly boredom. But also I like people watching, and lolcow is like people watching on steroids. I like seeing how bizarre people can be, and I appreciate the uncensored candidness of the commentary from fellow farmers.

I also feel like with some cows there is some hidden lesson you can take away and apply to your own life. Like, don't aim for fame when you are a talentless hack. Or don't lie on the Internet, because it will come back to haunt you later.

You wont find here a lot of honest answers, but the most honest answers are probably those who say that they are mean and like to laugh at others because they fail at life themselves. I admit this 100%. It's terrible I know, and it really sucks that a lot of farmers here were bullied or are bullied or not well liked irl if I am lurking the vent threads. Those who laugh at the nudes of cows probably have nudes themselves. TL;DR if we'd be retarded enough to post here unanonymously we'd be the biggest cows here.

This is true :/

TBH I am struggling to get my life to the point where I have no time to waste on crazy Hungarian stage moms/derive any pleasure from posting on anon boards.

There are so much more important things we could be doing with ourselves, but I guess that's true about many things.

Spent way too much time being the nice girl most of my life, putting up with friends and others BS because "ohhh she'll understand!" at 23 I stopped 'understanding'. Kinda just turned into a bitch, really. Have a new job tho and an apartment, that's kinda nice.

Same, that's why I don't judge peopl who follow celeb gossip and stuch. It's just another form of entertainment.
Besides, who doesn't love to gossip about people, even better if everyone knows them?
Lolcows are just more niche and feel more "personal" depending on your interests.

Entertainment, I literally got into lolcow because my freshman semester of college I'd always get to classes too early and had nothing to do. So I'd just read on here to pass the time. What else is it for? I know /b/ you can talk to one another about topics and junk.

All of those.

Come on anon, you can't just leave it at that.
