I just got Yellow yesterday, and I'm honestly so excited to be replaying it after all these years. I'm feeling nostalgic as fuck, anons. So, here is a Pokémon thread! How are you celebrating the 20th anniversary this year?

Pokémon Blue was my very first video game and I played all the main games so far (not all the versions though). I kind of want to get the Blue version again on my 3DS but I can still play it on my gameboy color and I don't have enough space on my SD card anymore. I played all the versions for gen1, Pikachu is really cute in Yellow but it's so weak, I used to put him in the computer at some point in all my playthrough.

I really want to get Yellow, as that was the game I wanted at first, but it was sold out back then lol

I think I left my Pokemon soul silver and its pokewalker with my ex bf. I'm still sad/mad about it even though he left most of his books with me and mime was no major loss, in comparison.

I think I'm finally getting back into Pokemon, so I might finally play the omega ruby I bought and never opened. Got a little tired after 400+ hours of X.

I'm really excited for Pokemon Sun and Moon and the new pokemon in these games. I really hope, they bring back trainer costumization and make some nice post-game content.

Customisation is my shit. If they don't bring it back it will really feel like a step backwards.

I'm conflicted about it. I've played RS countless times and it's my favorite region. Sprites, endless things to explore, weather… I even love the music.
Then ORAS was announced and I nearly shat my pants with excitement.
But like X, something still isn't clicking right with me. I was so excited for the games in 3D but what they're doing has been kind of uncanny valley. Plus there's things that are really distracting, like the puddles in RS are square in ORAS, or the fact that the music is nearly (or is?) identical to the original music.
I also don't really dig the color palettes they've been using in the newer games.

This is super autistic of me, but I was really looking forward to ORAS and I wish it was stepped up a bit more.
