i have a goal atm to have a game demo out by december, i've done most of the planning but i just need the motivation to actually get started on the development side. the day is almost over here but i'm gonna finish up a plan for what to include in the demo & hopefully get started on some basic 3D level design after work tomorrow

I also have huge creative goals like this and goddamn they can be complicated to make a strategy to get them done. I'd love to hear how yours goes. I think finishing up the day with a plan was a great idea.
Today my goal is to get my drawings done for my project, however long that may take. I think it will take probably 6 hours.

I'll focus on either painting or drawing today. I need to finish one thing for sure. I'll do that first. Next, I'll see how I feel and how much time is left.
Coming up this week I cant forget about emailing someone with their update, I need to update 2 people.
I want to work for 4 hours today.
My kitchen absolutely must get clean.
That's a lot, so I'll save folding those clothes until tomorrow.

My longterm daily goals:
>Wake up, get out of bed and actually stay out of bed
>Look in the mirror and get dressed for the day, even if I have nothing to do
>Exercise in the mornings/evenings
>Do some creative work, have at least one drawing or painting done a week
>Go outside for ~20 mins per day
>Talk to random people, at least once a week, improve social skills
>Answer messages in a timely manner
>Keep my room in decent shape
>Remember to brush teeth at night
Has anyone had any luck doing self- check list or bullet journals for daily goals? I've tried but never found a good rhythm to keep up with them. Maybe I'll make a weekly bingo card and see how many of these I can do in one week, it feels less stressful than having a daily goal list and not completing everything that day.

What I did was chose one thing I really wanted done out of a list like yours, and then force myself through reminders/post it to do it repeatedly. I'd try to do it 20 times in a row so as it to become an habit because I read somewhere that you need to do things 20 times for it to become an habit. Started with something simple (put coat back on coat rack instead of throwing it on a chair), moved to tougher stuff (exercise X amount a week).
