If you live in the US, one easy way to find dirt on people is to check your state's court records. Anything illegal that they've gotten caught doing will be on there.
From speeding tickets to drug possession.

Best way to find them is googling "[state] court records" and trying the results at .gov addresses.

'Search By Party' and put in the persons first and last name. The results should even have physical descriptions of the person, so you can make sure it's actually them.

Not legal, but something easy to start with. If your girl has an online presence, look up and find out as much as you can. After that, you can try getting into her e-mail through the "forgot password" option (but use a proxy of some sort) and hoping she doesn't have a phone connected to it. You already fucked up by starting a fight with her over msg, best thing you can do now is back off completely for a while and ignore her while you figure out what to do, so don't get into her e-mail just yet or anything, wait a bit. If you're any good with computers and have some sense (you probably don't, though) you can try getting into her e-mail and framing her with some illegal materials
