I only took hormones for 9 months but I started to pass earlier than expected and the unsettling feeling of passing was what made me want to go back. I got off hormones before anything too irreversible. My voice dropped quick but I personally love the voice change and wouldn't take my 9 months back given how much the voice change alone has helped me. I sometimes do soften it a little over the phone but I deepen it like crazy whenever a guy tries to chat me up lol

I still have some mismatched feelings around gender at times but I think it's just that I'm not looks obsessed or feminine in that respect, I want to dress down and I hate feeling sexualised by strangers based on nothing more than 'ooh look women sex object'
