not OP but the vent thread seems to be for more serious rants than this. Idk, just seems weird to rag on people about sillier reasons (what I take this thread is for) in the same thread as people talking about their experiences with childhood abuse, depression and rape and shit.

If that's the case, I want to vent about a friend of mine. We were roommates for a bit. She wouldn't Lock the door and would leave dishes in the sink for days and occupied the living room all day and all night (sleeping in there for some dumb reason), I never got to watch anything I wanted in there or even be in there alone. I talked to her about locking the door but she gave some excuse about why it's Ok because she doesn't bring negative energy into the house so nothing bad will happen. I ignore the other things bc she is extreemly sensitive and volitile, and would blow up on me if I brought it up.

I've moved out and shes got a new roommate. And everytime I visit her She tells me about how her new roommate doesnt lock the door, or do dishes and is in the living room to much. Its annoying because she doesn't understand that its exactly how she was to me, and she keeps telling me about her new roommate like its the first time I've heard it.

No one wants to be her friend but me, So sometimes she seems fake-nice, even if I can tell I'm annoying her, because she's afraid of loosing me.

Anyway, thanks. I needed that vent.

I love my Mom, I definitely don't hate her, but she can irritate me with her 'advice' sometimes.

She always has to be right, she can never be wrong. You think you know something and have done actual research on it/gone to a doctor about it? Well no you're wrong and she knows the real answer.

Some examples:

>Be a teen, on birth control, rarely get acne
>Mom tells me acne is from birth control and to get off it
>I get off birth control and start getting pain in my ovaries
>Have to get surgery b/c I develop ovarian cysts
>Only way to keep them under control is a specific birth control
>Get on this birth control, skin is a ton better and rarely any pain
>Every time I get a pimple Mom says "it's from the birth control, the pain is just heavy periods"
>Have to contain my rage

>Go to Sephora to get myself BB cream
>They use the color-scanner on me to perfectly match my skin tone
>Put the cream on, my skin has never looked more perfect, feeling fabulous
>Stop by Mom's to show her how happy I am with the makeup
>She does her usually "uhhh" face to show she's about to say how wrong I am
>Tells me the makeup looks too yellow for me
>"You're skin is pink, not yellow, try ____ cream"

I know it all sounds pretty stupid to get genuinely irritated over, but she does this with EVERYTHING: Tv shows, hair, nails, books… literally any topic she knows more than anyone on. Worst part is she's probably too old now to grow out of it.

As for me, the person I want to complain about is a former friend I met on tumblr. I remember I made a tumblr account in 2012 because she seemed so interesting, she liked a bunch of video games I liked too, she was funny, we had some things in common, etc. It has been some months since I unfollowed her because she wouldn't stop posting about how being Black in Europe is hard (which isn't wrong, but she WOULDN'T STOP), being a Black weeb is hard, her anxiety, her super low self-esteem. That itself wasn't so bad, but she started becoming more and more passive-agressive, posting more and more SJW bullshit, not even the accurate yet annoying posts, acted all superior to anyone who isn't aroace like her because according to her "romance is gross". The worst part for me was when she started making fun of some TV shows, manga and video games that I like and that she used to like a lot, maybe because of her stupid elitism, maybe because these things aren't PC enough for her anymore. I could reblog a harmless Hetalia fanart because I feel nostalgic or something and she would then post something about how Hetalia is problematic and shit at most 5 minutes later. It's just an example, she has done that with other things I like. I think another good example of how she's a tryhard SJW is that she tries to make it look like she likes yaoi because of some weird reasons like feminism and representation of minorities in media.

Sometimes I go through her blog just out of sheer curiosity and she's so laughable, she really acts and thinks like she has a broomstick up her ass or something. I'm glad I'm not like her.

It really does, but it really depends on who you're following. I made other friends on tumblr who are from my country and have the same hobbies as me more or less at the same time. They're fun and chill, it made me a bit less negative after I got rid of all the shitty blogs I followed. Fells great to talk to people with common sense and who aren't rude as fuck.
