Does anybody else have excess body hair? Because I do, on 95% of my body. The worst part is I'm a woman with a happy trail. It's fucking disgusting.

I also lost a considerable amount of weight because I was tired of being ashamed of my body, and even though I'm now average, slender, and slightly toned I still feel uncomfortable getting naked or wearing things like bikinis, crop tops, or sheer tops because of the hair.

Am I alone on this? I'm a god damn gorilla. Prone to ingrown hairs and it takes at least an hour to shave my entire body by myself.

Yes I've suffered with this problem my whole life. I went to an endocrinologist thinking I had a hormonal problem, but my results were normal. They told me it must be due to genetics. Sucks to get hit with the bad genes. Anyway now I'm getting laser hair removal. It's expen$ive but at least now I don't want to kill myself (as much).

It hurts like a bitch but I know it will be worth it. The hair grows back very slowly so I don't have to shave as often either.

I haven't been to a doctor in years (poor as fuck) but I'm fairly certain it's bad genetics for me as well.

I wasn't aware that laser hair removal was painful. I've considered it but it must cost like $10,000 for several full body treatments.

Maybe I should start stripping. Some day I'll be a cow, too.

Ive got a happy trail too and I actually like it. I'm only ashamed of it because everyones making a scene out of it. Its just hair. My fiance also loves hairy girls so yea.

You should try waxing instead of shaving, or save up for lasering.

I used to have incredibly hairy arms. I've been shaving them since elementary school so I can't remember exactly how bad they were but I recall people used to point them out if I wore short sleeves.

I noticed I get hair fairly quickly on my face, too. I try to wax my lip area but either I'm not doing a good job or I need to try something else. My sister has the same issues and told me that she has to wax her face every week or so.

I basically have hair on every part of my body excluding my neck. Thankfully it is blonde/clear so it's not really noticeable. I've thought about shaving or waxing but I don't want it to get darker.

jealous as fuck anon, blonde body hair is kinda cute.

I have the worst upper leg hair ever but stopped shaving it because of in-growth. Nowadays I just bleach it every two months and wax the parts where the hair gets too "pube-like".
Seriously, bleaching your body hair is way better than shaving it off.
No stopples, no in-growth, you don't really need to do it regularly…

Yeah it hurts and has been described as a rubber band snapping on your skin. If you get it done on a small area they can apply a numbing cream. If it's a larger area they can ice you down before hand or use a special machine that blows cold air right after the laser and that really helps.

That's about how much it costs for me to get full arms, full legs, underarms and happy trail. 8 treatments on each of those areas. In the future I'd also like to get my bikini area done.

I hope you can get the treatments someday too anon.

I'm with you, OP. You can name anywhere on my body and there's a 99% chance I have hair there. And I'm blessed/cursed with thick and curly black hair.

I've tried all sorts of hair removal things but I find shaving the cheapest and easiest. But I haven't shaved since August because I have really bad arthritis that makes it super painful…

I just embrace it and stick to jeans and long-sleeve things (easier since it's cold where I live).

I have half way traumatizing memories of kids making fun of my arm hair and calling me sasquatch, then getting in trouble with my mom for shaving at 8 years old.

I usually just shave my upper lip every other day because it's easier. I get these really fine, soft hairs all over my face though and I've considered shaving them off, too.

I epilate. The first time took a good hunk of time to do but now I'm able to do it every few days or so when I notice some longer hairs. The new hairs are a lot thinner and more sparse too. I'm a total pussy and I could never work up the nerve to try waxing or laser removal so epilating is a godsend and it's surprisingly fun and relaxing. I still shave anywhere that has light hair but the stubble from the darker hairs was my main concern.
