Also legitimately really like Terry. He speaks out on sexual assault as a victim himself, he’s antiporn, and just seems like a really nice well rounded guy for a celeb.

Wholesome thread idea, anon. It's good to cultivate hope when it doesn't seem like there is any.

My stepfather is a genuinely good man. He met my mother when she was older (he is too, but also almost a decade younger) and seems to have never cared about age in relationships from what I can tell. She got sick after a couple of years of him coming to live with us but he's stayed by her side and they spend all of their free time together, often watching movies or discussing their interests. He hasn't been able to work atm because he's immigrating to our country for her (he's coming from an equally fine country before anyone says shit), but keeps up the housework and has a website where he promotes art/poetry/writing by people from not-so-well-off countries for free.

My best friend is also a good guy. He's always been supportive and cares about people and animals. He doesn't objectify women and seems to be saving dating for someone he genuinely connects with, despite the fact that quite a few people have tried to get with him. He also wants to get into conservation work in the future.

I've also had a lot of garbage men in my life (my own father was), but I'm lucky to have had men close to me who are decent people so I don't go too off the rails.

Uh, not Ramsay, thats for sure.

I like Chris Hemsworth for trying to keep his kids safe from candids, and just seeming chill all-around. People hail him as a feminist icon sometimes but he never seems so adamant about the subject to where it seems fake and forced. Idk he seems pure and the only superhero actor who isn't obviously trying to bang ScarJo.

I genuinely can't think of anyone else )who is famous), they're either kinda annoying or uncomfortably flirtatious in interviews and talk shows. I can only think of women.

My husband is an amazing man. He's sacrificed a lot to take care of me and hardly asks for anything in return. I can't really work due to intense mental health issues, and he works overtime at a miserable job. Despite this, he still buys me lots of nice things every month. He's said before many times that all he wants in life is for me to be happy and nothing makes him feel more proud than taking care of me.

He doesn't treat me like I should be submissive to him either, even though he's in a position where he easily could since I'm 100% financially dependent on him. He's very respectful if I have no desire for sex, even if it's been a month. He doesn't look at porn often and when he does, it's just nudes or really vanilla gentle sex. And he asked me at the beginning of our relationship if I was okay with him watching it since he knew not everyone was and he wanted to be respectful.

He doesn't stand for anyone in his life disrespecting me at all. If someone steps over the line, he has no problem cutting them out even if they're family. I never have to fight to get rid of toxic people with him. He also will criticize shitty ways men treat their SOs and is very sensitive to the pain of others. He's cried during documentaries about things involving misogyny or homophobia. He doesn't make stupid edgelord jokes and doesn't have a lot of male friends because he can't stand how shitty guys are.

Looking at porn at all would be unacceptable to me. I would regard my husband being aroused while looking at another woman having sex as cheating. My husband works away sometimes so I let him keep a few pictures of me in my underwear on his laptop so if he needs to masturbate he can do it while imagining he's with me. nah, my bf specifically thinks that's unhealthy and that there's no reason to masturbate to other people and specifically refused to think of other people when i allowed him to. there's really no difference between jerking off to many other people and paying camgirls, imo. same premise behind it. if your fire for your partner isn't enough, i, personally, don't want to be in that relationship. you're better off being close friends/companions at that point, imo. i know my bf isn't using anything because he'd have a much more difficult time cumming were that the case. like, i understand lamenting that the average man can't sustain this type of relationship and acknowledging that, but what you're doing is different. there are a few men out there that understand why this isn't okay for some women, and who are happy to make their girlfriends happy and who are completely devoted to their partners.

lmao, read what normie girls have to say about porn. you might be okay with it, but the majority of women literally admit they are uncomfortable with it but let it slide because "men have to", "men are more visual", etc. lots of teen girls speak out about how it makes them uncomfortable and they're basically barraged with the thought that they're psychotic for wanting a relationship that feels as exclusive as what they desire. i really don't care if you or other anons like porn and accept porn – the fact is that the majority of my friends, the majority of normal women, are kind of disturbed by the fact that their input into their relationship isn't enough, and the fact that they're not enough for their partners. their opinions and preferences are steamrolled by society. you can do whatever you want, i don't care, but don't sit here and pretend girls and women aren't told they're psychotic for not being accepting of their partners wanting to fuck countless people when they don't often feel the same way.

there's no shortage of women who are not okay with it –beyond the whole 'rape on tape thing', but without being able to bring up how unethical porn is, women are told to shut up and that they're 'too possessive' and are 'psychotic girlfriends'. again, fine if that's not what you want, but as a whole, this is a very common phenomenon, and women are told to suppress their feelings constantly and put up with behavior that makes them feel unsatisfactory.

You can definitely find guys who aren't interested in porn and only get off to you (only also referring to prefer)

A woman isn't pleasing him, it's a pre-recorded video on a screen that he can't touch. He isn't fucking anyone else, it's purely voyeuristic in nature. You can refuse to have a partner who watches it and that's understandable but calling it cheating is borderline retarded. It's like you have no concept of what is tangible and what isn't.

See, this is the petty kind of opposition to porn. People don't have to restrict their attraction to their partner and should feel free to masturbate to whoever they want to.

The main problem with porn is that it's coercive rape and I will no longer pretend to be okay with people getting off to women who are almost definitely being abused and disrespected behind the scenes or, in the case of increasingly violent porn these days, right on the screen with no attempt to hide it. It's too normalized and too harmful for me to be dimiss it as innocent fap material no big deal anymore, and I don't give a fuck if female porn defenders get offended because I think they're handmaids. They are, and they need to get some perspective if they are willing to tolerate getting off to rape.

I'm not really close with my mom anymore but I really respect her current husband. He really stepped up for family, for my younger siblings especially. He sacrificed his health, money, and most likely his sanity dealing with my family. But he stuck it through and my younger siblings are so healthy and happy. Something I truly feel wouldn't have happened if he didn't come into their life. He seems happy too. He brags about their accomplishments a lot and made a huge announcement when my youngest sister asked if she could call him dad. He was a lifelong bachelor in a really small town. I also learned recently he was responsible for keeping the animal shelter in my old town running by donations he made.

Tbh I think he hates me because he's protective of my mom though lol

According to an article from 1990, "Ross decided that if he ever left the military, he would never yell or raise his voice again." and it looks like he did his darndest to live by that.

idk, as someone who grew up with anger issues and spent years trying to learn how to bring it under control, I have respect for anyone who can successfully make a massive, positive change to themselves, honestly.

let's get this shit back on track yeah?

>my dad

i'm really grateful for my dad. he worked so hard for the family to get us where we are. also although it's stereotypically the male that's agressive, my dad is always the voice of reason and the mediator for my unstable mother. i don't want to think about how my life would be if it wasn't for my dad.

>will smith

i know his character in frash prince was very sexist but i still enjoyed the show regardless, and he's nothing like that irl. you can tell he would give the world for his family and throughout his music career he's actively tried to be a peacekeeper in hip hop, a genre built on conflict and struggle.

>other people i know

person 1, the son of one of my parent's friends. about 4 years older than me and i've known him since i was born. lowkey had a crush on him since childhood lol. he has a girlfriend he's been with for many years now, and she taught him about feminist ideas and i don't remember if he was different before that but he's such a kind and smart person, he tutored me through year 11 and 12 english and philosophy. he's also dealt with a lot of stuff too, he helped his mum through her divorce with her shitty husband. he's definitely been a great role model for me and i like to think of him as a kind of yukito figure lol, pic related

person 2, the husband of one of my mum's friends. i don't see him very often any more but he's also a great family man. like my parents, he's the mediator for the unstable mother. he's basically the backbone of the family. the mother is too caught up in issues with her own mother to do a whole lot, and he's always making sure the kids are ok and happy, as well as being the breadwinner.

Most of my other favourite men have already been mentioned, like steve irwin, bob ross, mr rogers, etc. theres probably more nice men i know but i'll need to keep thinking.

He seems good, none of the humor I saw on the Eric Andre show was typical bro-tier shit, in fact it seems like he goes out of his way to make fun of it and typical male comedians.

He seems to try to put his beliefs into his writing/comedy and over his career, and I respect that.

I'll also admit that I don't know much about him. I do have an anecdotal story from a friend who claims that Eric and his friends saved her from a huge creepy dude at a party by basically trolling him away, but people lie about celebrities all the time, so take it with a grain of salt.

Its hard for me to not agree with you tbh. I used to be pretty sex/porn positive and all that jazz, thinking that it was reasonable when done sparingly. The fact of the matter is, porn has destroyed men, relationships and sex in general. Thats kinda OT and we had a thread for it that always gets ignored but just saying I agree with you. I think its unhealthy for anyone to actively search out and masturbate or copy pornography.

I don't like it, but you're right, I used to be super open with my bf jerking it to porn until someone told me men actually picture themselves fucking the girl in the porn they watch, I though it was just some voyeuristic pleasure (that's what it was for me back when I used to watch porn) but it's actually a fantasy of getting with that particular hot girl who just cum at the mere sight of your dick and is always down to get buttfucked. So yeah, we're being cucked by porn stars, amateur girls and camgirls.

Then someone explain to me why men are so fascinated by granny porn?! I had a bf that use to be obsessed with stockings and made me feel confident and sexy when I wore them for him. Then I was using his tablet one day and opened the browser to get up a website and there was granny porn specifically in stockings! I kept a cool face and tapped the history and he had typed in granny in stockings into pornhub or whatever site it was.

I have been called attractive by many men. I'm not middle aged let alone elderly. I had some older dude break down crying one night that I was going to be the hottest woman to ever date him. What is attractive about an old woman in comparison to a younger body? Like yes ok it is nice that old women are sexualised I guess (is it I'm overwhelmed?) but what's turning him on. Is it that they think she's so desperate and crazed for a younger hot guy? Let me be clear, my ex was not as good in bed as he thought. Does he need more drooling and exhibitionism to make up for his poor skills? I had to watch one clip and the old lady just comes across eager but she looked like uncooked chicken.

Men are denegerate scum

Tbh the vast majority of porn involves women that appear young-looking, "barely legal", teen, etc etc. I'm guessing some men go for keywords like mature, milf and granny because they're actually not into baby faced porn stars and this way they can be sure they won't get that.

Plus there's no real reason for men NOT to be attracted to older women. We've just been told for so long that women are only worth something 18-25.

No. 394309

>>394304
Men seem to overly critical of young women so just find it alarming that they're literally watching women 70+ being fucked. He wasn't using keywords avoid legalbait, he was looking up grannies. Half of them looked emancipated with chicken breast hangings and the others were fat with no distinct shape. It's not sensual or attractive looking to me. I'm just bewildered how there's all this societal pressure on women not letting themselves go when men are fapping pretty regularly to old cunts.

I'm trying to understand is it aesthetics or is it the fantasy of the man being so desired by the older woman? Are they that egotistical? Desperation is a turn on?

I guess the only thing a man is loyal to is his ego. Idk idgi.i hate porn.

anon, granny porn is an outlier and a niche. most of its appeal is because it’s “weird” and that gives the men who watch it a rush. it doesn’t mean men actually value older women or don’t fetishize youth. there are men who will fuck fat women or get off to BBW porn while still only choosing to date skinny women.

If he watches granny porn it means he's into grannies, men legitimatly project themselves into the porn they're watching, that's why they get so addicted to it and that's also why some end up not even wanting to have sex IRL, they get all the satisfaction they want from thousands of different women whenever they want and for how long they like (that's how you get porn addict edgind for 5 to 7 hours in a day before busting their nut).

Before dumping him for many reasons, I brought up the granny porn and his weird thing with matrons and how a few of his exes had looked like older versions of his ma (don't ask). I bet there's loads of freaks like him, just googling granny porn brings up an article from 2015 that Brits are most addicted to it. Our grannies are not safe!

There are true allies out there, but they take feminism as it was the fight club: "you do not talk about Fight Club". They just do the thing and fight, calling other men out and giving lectures to them.

A bit of blogposting

My dad taught me feminism. He doesn't consider a feminist himself (according to him is only logical and it should be natural, not something to flaunt). I remember one day he walked into class in the morning and said while he was driving his daughters to school a advertisement for boob jobs came up on the radio. He was ranting and was visibly shaken and upset. We are still in contact now that I've graduated high school and he is very supportive of me and my endeavors. I admire him a lot. That's so true, male comedians are the lowest of the low. Even "normal", pc ones constantly make their gf or wife the butt of their joke.

Even funnier, around a decade ago they got away with basing whole programs around dragging women through dirt, then mocking them for being offended, yet now the ones who happen to be non-white (in my country non-christians) love to play victim and whine for hours about their experiences with racism and make woke callouts, thinly laced with a couple jokes. They don't deserve an ounce of sympathy. For years they were content with humiliating one half of the whole population on the site of their white "oppressors" and now I should have empathy for them and reflect? That is truly a joke.

One of my uncles seems like he's a good dad to my cousins. One of them had a baby recently and she's pretty young so her parents are helping her out a lot with her daughter. I saw my uncle looking after her a few days ago and I realized I would never trust my own father to do that if I had a child and it made me so sad. I actually teared up just writing this. My dad is violent and emotionally volatile. I just wish he was decent. Not great, just not abusive.

>Through countless generations, from the very beginning, the social subservience of women resulted naturally in the partial atrophy or at least the hereditary suspension of mental qualities which we now know the female sex to be endowed with no less than men. But the female mind has demonstrated a capacity for all the mental acquirements and achievements of men, and as generations ensue that capacity will be expanded; the average woman will be as well educated as the average man, and then better educated, for the dormant faculties of her brain will be stimulated to an activity that will be all the more intense and powerful because of centuries of repose. Women will ignore precedent and startle civilization with their progress.

Yeah, Schonpenhauer took his shit on women back in a way too (after all he'd said about us lmao):

"When the elderly Schopenhauer sat for a sculpture portrait by the Prussian sculptor Elisabet Ney in 1859, he was much impressed by the young woman's wit and independence, as well as by her skill as a visual artist.[201] After his time with Ney, he told Richard Wagner's friend Malwida von Meysenbug, "I have not yet spoken my last word about women. I believe that if a woman succeeds in withdrawing from the mass, or rather raising herself above the mass, she grows ceaselessly and more than a man."

Sage for this off-topic/man-hate territory rant but I have to.

You need to see these fucks as a product of their time. The women they were surrounded by were indeed inferior, but I mean, they were quite literally forced to grow up that way. That's the part these guys ignored in their original masturbatory works. Like Beauvoir said: ‘The American white relegates the black to the rank of shoeshine boy; and he concludes from this that the black is good for nothing but shining shoes.’

At least they backtracked, but it would've been nice if they, or all men for that matter, could use their little primitive brain and explore all possibilities from the start.
