I have a hypertrophic scar on my back kind of like pick related, but heart shaped. It literally killed my confidence and stopped me from wearing tank tops or bikinis until I hit college age. Cortisone injections hurt like a bitch so I never finished them and getting a tattoo to emphasize it and just own it.
Honestly no guy I have ever been with has had a problem with even though it still bothers me.
my current boyfriend says it's unique, but I think in all honesty most people aren't too concerned with someones scars because a lot of people have them.
I still struggle dealing with mine though but most people are just curious about it.
It's hard to say, don't let it bother you, but it'snot as big a deal as you may think. Sorry for long winded post

>>37283well that's good for you, really. i imagine having someone close to you having a negative reaction would be off-putting
mine are a little larger. a lot. ive got the 10 incher going down the center of my chest, with 6 1inchers on my abdomen from the blood draining tubes i had in me. i never really thought that they were remotely be an issue

Thanks anon, I hope others think so? It's a weird little rough edged heart, and I ended up getting little zelda 8bit heart fitted around it, so it looks filled in. it has helped a lot!

>>37289wait so….strechmarks, not actual real scars?
ew.

>>37449why, because people are confusing stretchmarks for scars?
lots of stretchmarks aren't cute. sorry.

>>37735This. Just because some people naturally don't have stretchmarks, they want to act all high and mighty and say that they're preventable. I've had them since I was like 8.
Also, what about self-harm scars? I would think most people would see this as a turn-off.
