No. 33779

so say we all

No. 33782

Eh. I think it's okay. It's like the junkfood of coffee. I'd rather spend my money somewhere else though.

No. 33802

Hate coffee in general. Shit makes my whole mouth taste disgusting. Their frappes are nice but not amazing. Wouldn't more than occasionally.

No. 33813

The coffee milkshakes are nice as an occasional treat, but I don't feel the coffee is good enough to justify the price, so I prefer to make my own coffee at home

No. 33841

it's not coffee

No. 33852

I hated Starbucks and had never set foot on a Starbucks premises until I got dragged in by a friend and ordered a white chocolate mocha.

Now I can't stop drinking them :(
They're like 400 calories a piece :(

No. 33854

I don't go in there as much anymore or any coffee shops compared to two years ago where I was addicted. But now I go in occasionally as a treat.

It's October soon and y'all know what that means…

Pumpkin spiced lattes :D

Get it with nonfat milk and without the whipped cream and it's 175. Still not great but at least it's not as much as an actual meal.

Fuck wait, that's for the short size. Tall is 263

No. 33900

Love it even though its a kike company

No. 33908

I prefer this local chain in my hometown. It's a shame there's only 3 and they're all there.

Starbucks is meh. Way overpriced and usually too much of a line for what it is.

Plus their Pumpkin Spice Latte got me sick one time.

Is it true white girls like those a lot? I know Koreans are obsessed with Americanos and iced Americanos in the summer. Personally I like chai tea (lol redundant) latte with pumkin syrup.

No. 33926

I used to LOVE starbucks but it got too expensive for me (was unemployed) and now I just prefer making coffee recipes and stuff at home. Still I go there with my boyfriend from time to time (not very often), because the ambient and music is nice.

No. 33927

I worked there for a long time, so I hate it.

No. 33929

I like their mochas with half the amount of syrup; the full amount is waaaay too much and you end up with mocha sludge in the bottom of the cup. Their actual coffee is meh. It's all ridiculously overpriced, though.

No. 33936

I like getting sugar blasted with a frappe every great once in a while. It's too expensive for me. I don't care for the actual coffee because it tastes… burnt, maybe? I'm always down for gobs of caramel sauce and whipped cream though.

I'm a McDonald's coffee whore. I even buy their premium blend grounds to make it at home.

No. 33938

Surprisingly Mcdonalds coffee is good stuff! I used to work in a hardware store in a pricey neighborhood and would always get $1 coffee every morning from them. My only other options were starbucks and two other overpriced shops. Mcdonalds kept me alive during my 6 am morning shifts.

Pumpkin spice lattes are already in yo, or at least in the UK

No. 33948

I like their matcha green lattes, but I hate the fact that they're taking over my campus (we have one off campus that's a short 5 minute walk, one in the student union building, and now they're building another two right on campus. why???)

No. 33949

i should've just said matcha frappes. i fucked up.

In my country I can get way better coffee for a fraction of the prize. The only people who regularly have Starbucks are rich girls from the suburbs.

Really? When was this anon?!

Right k, I'll go buy one tomorrow. ty

No. 33960

I like their stuff but everything is so full of calories and also expensive…

No hate anon, but goddamn I cannot understand the love for that drink. I love green tea but I cannot stand the matcha frappe. Everyone else I know goes on about how ~amazing~ it is and it seems to be massively hyped online too. To me it tastes like (gr)ass.

No. 34023

Your not the only one, I tried green tea frap too and it was like milky way

i nearly vom'd

No. 34025

Used to love their coffee (despite the price), but then tried coffee from other coffee shops/chains and realised how shit Starbucks coffee actually is. Can't even really call it coffee.

Do you guys like matcha at all, as tea or in sweets/foods?

I'm simply curious if the drink is shit or you just don't like matcha. Or both lmao. I'd like to try it since I like matcha flavored stuff. Unless… it's total garbage. I don't have high hopes for Starbucks drinks.

I'm >>34022 and I love matcha sweets, but I find that the drink tastes like the smell of a fresh cut lawn. To each their own though, one of my friends normally hates matcha/green tea but loves their matcha drinks. I think it's just something you either love or hate but the grassy-ness really puts me off.

I'm >>33948. It doesn't taste very much like green tea to me actually! I like it as its own thing. It doesn't taste very grassy to me. It's weird lol

Fuck, that is cute.

I was never a coffee drinker, I was one of those pretentious types that tried to like tea even though it tastes like overpriced hot water.
Then about a month ago, I was in a local coffee shop with a friend and they offered me a free coffee that must have been made by mistake or something, I tried it and holy shit now I like coffee. Normally I don't drink anything but water or those arizona green teas (which are probably still shit for you).
I get so much food credit on campus and I can use it at the starbucks here, and since it's basically free I'll go there every once in a while and get a no-fat vanilla latte. I know it's awful, I don't care what the pro-ana people say coffee has to be fattening, isn't espresso mostly sugar anyway?

I like my coffee black too. The horrible taste punishes me for being alive and wakes me up.

No. 34353

Sounds like you've had shit coffee then. Black coffee doesn't taste bad if it's a good brew.

No. 34354

I switched to strictly black coffee for the fact of the zero calories. I drink coffee so much and when I'm in the breakroom at work, I see my coworkers using those coffeemate creamers that are 30 calories each and other garbage in there. They usually use at least 4-5….

Yeah, I'll enjoy my coffee black, thanks. Drinking your calories is a real thing, esp with people who drink coffee with tons of milk and sugar or non-diet coke and juice. All those starbucks drinks are 400+ calories each.

How old are you? Both black coffee and espresso are zero calories…

They put real pumpkin in it now.

No. 34573

PSL addict here. They came out in the US on the 4th, but only if you ask specifically so obviously I needed one. The barista gave me the biggest eye roll (it was also like 90 something out). I just chilled it in my fridge until it was drinkable. No iced watered down version, just pure pumpkin spiced deliciousness. I think I might have a problem.

How is Tim Hortons coffee? I haven't had it since I was a kid but I remember going there all the time (there was one across the street from where I lived)
I'm from New England, so DD is the shit here. I hate it though, I'd much rather get starbucks or just use my kuerig.

It's the definition of mediocre. People go there because it's the cheapest (besides godawful gas station coffee or mcdonalds or something) and if you live in a Canadian city or suburb you're never more than 5 minutes away from one.

No. 43814

I like those iced frappucinos with the cream on top - strawberies and cream flavour - droool

No. 43823

I work at starbucks, I've never been this happy in my life, and I've had my share of different jobs. You are listened to appreciated and understood. Customers(most) are patient and nice. Not bad benefits, free college classes, and a premium Spotify account!

No. 43837

this sounds like my campus anon…
>tfw there may be farmers at your school and you don't even know it

No. 43838

I don't go to Starbucks. There isn't even one around here within walking distance and I can't handle all that sweet stuff like I used to. But their regular coffee isn't that good. It tastes kind of burnt. There really isn't much else I can order from there that won't be too sweet for my tastes.

I go to Wawa. It's a convenience store on the US east coast. I mix the pumpkin spice coffee with dark roast and add light cream. Sometimes I get Dunkin Donuts. But they don't always listen to you when you say no sugar in your latte. I think the milk makes it sweet enough.

No way bitch… you drink PSL's… I live off that shit. When I was born, I didnt even get breast fed, I just drank straight PSL's. My favorite thing to do is go home, light my PSL candle, chew my sugar free PSL gum, put my PSL bubbles into my PSL bath, down in PSL and wake up in a Spiced Pumpkin like Cinderella. I wrote to American Airlines like a million times and demanded that they made their planes smell like PSL, like I'm allergic to regular air. When I die, I want to get cremated and sprinkled into a pumpkin spice latte. I'm in like 800,000 dollars worth of debt because all I do is buy PSL's… Like I've been running from the IRS for years now, I could do some serious jail time…. but its so worth it. I haven't drank water in like 8 years. I'm blacked out on PSL's right now…
