they have a point. i'm not from /cow/ or 8chan but i did occasionally browse /cow/ back when it was on 789chan, plus some other lolcow forums. this board's definition of a lolcow is pretty different from other places'. in my opinion, the quintessential lolcow is chris-chan: an obese autistic man who tard rages in public, endlessly spergs about sonic, shows his fucked up dick on cam and falls for the most obvious trolls. most of the people posted on /cow/ and similar sites act along these lines. compare to the average /pt/ thread which generally reads like "this girl is bad at fashion/makeup and photoshops her pics, i heard she said something bitchy to some girl 3 years ago". i understand that there are long backstories for many of these people, which aren't apparent from the thread, but i doubt these people's histories are anywhere near as extravagant as someone like chris-chan or ADF or whatever. the only people on /pt/ i really consider lolcows are pixyteri and asha. also i wouldn't call aly/ginger lolcows but i enjoy that thread because there's actually stuff going on there besides "hey look at this unflattering pic of some weeb girl". otherwise i'm mostly here for /b/ and /g/

/cow/ hasn't always hated us, so I believe it's some kind of crazy baiting going on, probably by /r9k/ and /pol/. The influx of pointless threads that cause the necessitation of /snow/ makes it seem like lolcow is just jealous catty bitches, and the influx of misandrist comments and threads makes lolcow look like it's full of man hating feminazi catladies. Ever since /pol/tards found out how easy it is to bait farmers into derailing threads with race arguments, it's been hell. So someone links the misandry general to /r9k/ and paints us as female wizardchan, then robots come here and find out that women in the misandry general (surprise!) hate men and everywhere else normal women are talking about their friends/lives/boyfriends, etc. Their robot sensibilities can't seem to comprehend that we're not female wizardchan nor have ever tried to paint ourselves as female wizardchan, or try to project specific comments or threads to the site as a whole. At least, that's what seems to have happened imo. It's definitely not just because we're an imageboard that's majority female, people have been aware of us and we did have a bit of spike in activity when the Zoe Quinn stuff broke loose last year, as we were one of the only places that weren't banning/deleting discussion about it. Back then some of us were worried that the trolling would get out of hand but it died down until lately. Hopefully /pol/ and /r9k/ get bored of us soon.

Some 'Lolcows' does make us seem like jelly sandy bitches. I've seen comments along the lines of the girls being too ugly for a lot of followers?? Like wtf, so what if they're ugly? Some we just make fun of for photoshopping or lying, what's funny about that?

Some girls who aren't harming anyone, I've seen people wanting to report them or bring them down. You try to keep lolcows so you could milk them for laughs, people want to take moral high ground by reporting them, and get mad when they aren't funny anymore.
Well yeah, they're not funny anymore because you either chased them away, or made them go private. Usually you encourage their behaviour for the laughs, not report.

Female Wizardchan? Also yes, I can see where this is coming from. All of these Depression/Mental Health threads, and Relationship problems/Who do you find hot threads make it seem that way. Not saying those threads are bad, but we have MANY of them. Plus we have that Misandry(so?) thread that doesn't help our case, and it's almost the same as neckbeards or Wizardchan males.

We are not all bad since we're an anonymoua image board filled with different personalities, and /r9k/, /cow/, Kiwi and 8ch are not all vagina haters, but we all have a few bad apples don't we?

If you actually read both the Kiwi and /cow/ threads, the opinions are kind of mixed. Not everyone has a totally negative option.

It is true that our definition of a lolcow is very different, but people have been saying lolcow on the internet for a long time now, and I think it's valid here. It doesn't necessarily mean just autistic people.

It's definitely baiting. While we've had a stupid influx of PULL and robots most of the time people on the farm have been pretty normal. Back at the height of the Peter Coffin sperging it seemed that /cow/ and /pt/ were actually working together to figure the mystery out. I think it's pretty obvious our anons have a different idea of entertainment too. Our cows are funny to us but not to them. Just as some of their cows aren't of any interest to us.
