I agree that it's v simplistic in a way (it is a kids show afterall) but it's still a valuable tool for learning a new language, as any kids show is.

On top of that it's relaxing in its simplicity. Sometimes I get sick and tired of death, crimes, corruption, the media, work and life in general, sometimes I just want to disappear for half an hour into a technicolour world of ponies.

I don't really hate the ponies, but I think a lot of people (like myself) hate the fans because of how they used to spam it 24/7 on 4chan in the most obnoxious way possible.

Just as an example, I really like Homestuck but I completely hate the fans. Homestuck fans and bronies deserve all of the hate they receive.
