Autosaging dumbass shit was a failure on multiple levels. I didn't use the thread much, but it's obvious that autosaging it completely backfired in Cerbmin's face and he's too proud to admit it.

They autosaged it to test out the theory that doing so would reduce the number of newfags, force newfags to integrate, and would decrease the amount of bans and time spent on moderation.

None of that happened. Instead, the newfags that lived in Dumbass Shit just migrated to new threads and turned 5 threads into chatrooms, they still didn't integrate, and there's more bans across /ot/ now than there was before the autosage. It also alienated a lot of regular site users that used the thread alongside the newfags. It's so obvious that Dumbass Shit was a perfect containment thread for so many retards that it's insane Cerbmin is still too proud and up his own ass to admit it was a retarded decision that only hurt the site. If anything, Unpopular Opinions should have been the thread that was autosaged.
