I always enjoy Halloween! I'll be watching appropriately themed movies all week for the occasion. So far, Scream 1-3, all of the Underworld movies, World War Z, and Practical Magic. Also an old movie from the 80s called Spellbinder about a woman who tricks a man into being a willing sacrifice for her coven. Other movies queued up for the week: The Craft, Halloween (duh), the Final Destination movies, Interview With the Vampire, and It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown (no Halloween is complete without Sally Brown's epic meltdown).
I'm not planning to wear a costume, but I will get into the spirit of things with my clothes. For day, I have a witch print dress and spiderweb shoes. When I hand out candy that evening, I'll be wearing pic related.

I'm really not in the mood to celebrate this day because the first train I was taking got cancelled and I've had to spend the last 24h in my computer cancelling tickets and finding new ones to buy for the earliest date possible. I was very proud of how I managed all the returns but I made the mistake of buying a ticket that I won't use. I feel awful about the money loss but the worst part is that my new boss hasn't been completely supportive of my trip's delay. Everything was going great until the very morning of my departure. I was ready to celebrate Halloween in my new home and I'm stuck in my family's apartment for a few more days. Sorry for the unnecessary vent. I haven't had a decent Halloween in years.

I love the vent thread pic, very cute and spooky. MLP always reminds me of my friends from high school, we didn't spend a lot of time online so we didn't see any of the weird shit, it was just 4 girls watching and drawing ponies together. We all had OC ponies and would draw each other pictures of them all together. One of the best Halloweens I had was with them, dressing up in bad Team Rocket grunt costumes.

happy halloween nonnies. i'm not dressing up but i'll be watching all of the spooky themed spongebob episodes and i'm currently browsing the Halloween tag on itch.io for short halloween themed games. i already played one that was kinda spooky so now i'm looking for fun ones but sure do wish some troon didn't tag their self-obsessed "Do I pass?" game ("you play as a transgender woman…") description and troonery colors in the picture. the only thing scary about that is the fact that you're a TIM get this shit off the halloween tag you nasty scrote i'm trying to have fun. wish itchio had a filter so i didn't have to see that dumb shit maybe i'll carve a pumpkin later

Have you ever had any paranormal experience on Halloween? It used to be a fantasy of mine as a teen but even when I made my own ouija board and used it in an abandoned place nothing really happened. I've never managed to lift the thin veil that separates our world from evil supernatural forces and invited them in. I've been interested in paganism and neopaganism for a decade but I've never done crazy shit.

I ran out of candy last year so this year I bought more but it's going to rain. I wonder how many kids are going to come now. Last night a black cat scared me in the alley near my house and it felt like a perfect Halloween scene kek

So I accidentally bought what people consider to be the worst Halloween candy. It seems to be only in Canada and called Molasses Kisses (molasses, brown sugar and vanilla). Got it cause it was one of the cheapest bags. It seems to be an acquired taste because the first one I had was kind of gross but the ones after taste better. I'm sorry kids but I guess shitty candy is part of the Halloween experience too.

>>2233848I was a weird kid but I always liked these. I'm sure some children will appreciate them.
I put out a bowl with candies, little crafts that I made, and some tiny little toys. I was cleaned out in 30 minutes! next year i'll definitely do more. I'm so happy the kids actually wanted the stuff I made though. warms my heart. they were so cute too.

>>2233823there were so many old ladies who didn't get many kids this year. It made me so upset. (and yes, despite being at my big age I went trick or treating, it's just fucking fun. I get away with it anyways because I'm socially retarded enough to get the retard pass) I blame it on trunk or treat honestly, that's what the ladies were telling me about. It's so stupid and isolationist, why is everyone paranoid of their neighbors? I literally live in one of the safest counties in the united states so I know it's not ACTUALLY crime. It's also grossly car-centric, but that's too much of an autistic topic to get into. I feel so bad for the ladies, ugh.
