I guess my first wish is only relevant to the American theatre of the war. If New France was never lost, it would have birthed a better nation than the current one occupying that land. I loathe the British for destroying the original Canadian and Acadian nations after New France was dismantled by the British post-victory. My second wish relates to the original idea of the 13 colonies being limited to east of the Appalachians as per the Royal Proclamation of 1763. I wish this because if the British presence was halted westward, "Indian Country" could have had time to federalize and build nations. I feel saddened that so many Indigenous cultures and histories were marred by the conquests of Manifest Destiny. It would have been interesting to see how it would all develop.

My third wish is that if the Sino-Soviet split never occurred, the USSR would have remained stronger and less isolated by the 90s, I believe it would have changed the outcome of the cold war. Not with a Soviet victory, but rather a true stalemate where instead of one Super Power there would have been two. Socialism would be more present in global affairs. If the Soviet presence remained strong in global affairs, the US wouldn't have been able to start as many conflicts as it has since the 90s, especially in regards to the Oil Wars.
