My boyfriend is asking me to look at rings. What is a reasonable yet respectable amount to spend on an engagement ring? He earns 200k a year. I don't want to be one of those women who settle for cheap but I don't want to go too high either as there is still the wedding ring and entire wedding to pay for, not to mention all these other expenses.
