Not reading anything at the moment… but playing through P3 again after a long time makes me realize how much I like AkiShinji.
It offends me how little nice art there is of them.
Any recommendations for reading, though?

I like BL games.
Who /hadaka shitsuji/ here?
Who /dramatical muder/ here?
Who /sweet pool/ here? (never finished this one thanks to that one glitch where you can only save at a certain point and basically have to finish the rest of the game in one sitting unless you're cool with reading everything over and over again, remembering all your choices, etc)

>>18571I try my best to sum up what happen
So pretty much izaya and shizou had a final battle and toward the end izayas arms and legs I believe were broken thanks to shizou but Verona also helped to defeat izaya. Then a group saved izaya and escaped etc…
And here a sum of the izaya sunset novel from translated Japanese tweets

>>19279lmao i'm not into 50sog either tbh, i tried reading it like once and i found that i'd honestly prefer edward cullen over christian grey and that's coming from someone who has a very deep hatred for twilight.
the only thing i'd have to say about ank is while i personally find the author's writing style to be amazing, some people dont like it. it was written in the early 80s, maybe even the 70's, and the writing style of the book really reflects that. it's written in what's called "tanbi" and at the time it was considered a very high literary style and the author of ank was actually called the master of it, but it's fallen out of practice because it usually ends up a little wonky once translated.
in addition, for the first few books the main couple is SUPER-ANGST MCGEE because one of the characters is downright fucking scary and feels little to no emotion (there's a huge speculation that he's an android) and the other is a free-spirited hothead, but over the books they both have amazing character growth and personally i think its worth the long read to see how the characters and the world around them develops.
wow sorry for the text wall jfc but idk i feel its important to know that stuff before going hardcore into the series because for the first few books it's kinda hard to get a grip on but once you fall in love with it you fall hard lmao.

>>19357there is actually, but personally i didnt like the anime too much because it left out a lot of plot details and absolutely ruined the character of iason mink.
anime iason is too kind and empathetic. in the books it's the best part of his character growth because he starts off cold, unfeeling, and sadistic, and has to struggle with his android nature and his humanity + learn how to be a decent person. which he does in the end, but the anime just rips that away from him and among other plot holes the anime kinda fucked shit ip.
tl;dr the anime butchered one of the main character's development, has a bunch of plotholes, and is only really good for people curious about the general jist of the series because the books are infinitely better.

>>19362lmao idk im a pretty legit person so im not gonna hold it on a pedestal because it has flaws like every piece of writing and not everyone will like itt, even though it's one of my favourites and honestly the best yaoi saga i've ever read.
but yeah tbh the anime isnt that great. it's even less deserving of the pedestal lmao.
