Has anyone donated to someone's Patreon before? It gets a bad rep here because of Sheena, Moomoo, Jnig, etc but surely there are plenty of legitimate causes.

If I had money to spare, the only person I would donate to is Captain Disillusion because I really enjoy the quality and subject matter of his content. He breaks down viral videos and explains if they're fake or not.
He's says the more money he gets the more likely he can make it into his full time job.
