I'm super excited about this summer because I've been working out a little bit, and I'm going to pierce my bellybutton.
Also going to buy pic related, maybe a diff colour.
Also some nice highlights would rock, but I'm still undecided about the exact colour I want. Something natural looking (I have ash blonde roots) with streaks of warm red tones, even auburn. It's a difficult colour combo for a hairdresser to make work, but I've found one that gets it.

>>168676It really depends on what you're looking for. If you want cheap but trendy nonsense, go on ebay or taobao and purchase from chinese sellers.
If you want quality, but at a higher price, Freya makes great swimwear, a lot of really high quality australian brands out there.
Image related is freya and so is
>>168677I love this brand so much. I sound like a shill kek.

I'm trying to lose weight in time for summer. It'll be my first summer that I don't look like shit.
I'm also hoping to get myself a summer wardrobe. I've always just worn basic shorts and shirts, but that's going to change.

Where can I find a kawaii desu~ anime bikini like in OP's pic? I want frills and maybe skirted bottoms, but literally can't find one that ISN'T cosplay. I want a real, functional bikini. Halp.

>>168684I also want to know.
I mostly want a bikini similar to the ones the girls of akb48 wore in the labrador retriever video. (I pretty much want all the outfits they wore in that video tbh)

>>168684>>168685>>168686try looking for "ruffle bikini" rather than "skirt bikini" and you have more luck.
but…not much luck to be honest. I have seen a few skirted/ruffle bikinis on places like yesstyle but not sure of the functionality of those. you may have luck searching for older collections of "girly" brands like juicy couture or kate spade on ebay or something. in particular i have seen skirted swim suits (plain colors and all) by juicy years ago.

>>168692I looovee sundresses on days where it's just too hot to put in enough effort but still want to look decently put together. I find places like TJ Maxx, Burlington, and even target usually sell a lot of different styles. It just depends on the fit you are looking for.
Usually, I just go braless but if you have larger breast that need support, a strapless bra can help or if i'm going out, I wear my bathing suit underneath.
There's a lot of styles so tbh if you aren't over 500lbs you should have to worry about figure.

Has anyone here tried wearing rash guards before? I like the silhouette and think they would be flattering on my slightly boyish body, but do they get too hot?

Would these tan lines look too weird? Also, would it look okay on someone super pale and not as toned? I'm skelly, but have no muscle definition like, at all. I'm a bit flabby, whatever you call that. Skinny fat?

>>168698I mean, do you want a ruffled swimsuit for adults or one for 6 year olds? You're going to look ridiculous.
Either way it's kind of childish, the ones in

One thing I'm more scared than excited for this summer will be showing my scars.
I always wore one piece swimsuits, but I'm going to get my bellybutton pierced and I really want to wear a two piece. They look so cute, and I feel like it would help me turn the page.
Problem is, my stomach area. You can't see them much, but if the light hits it right I have lots of white self harm scars on my belly. They're really old, but people will ask if they see because it's so many. I also have a really deep one that just won't heal properly and looks really nasty.
What do I tell people when they ask? Especially my friends? Should I just not bother and keep it covered?
No. 168707
>>168705>>168705oh anon, I know exactly where you're coming from. in all honesty; if your friends are really your friends, they'll respect you regardless of what scars you have. they might be sort of shocked or saddened by them, or ask what they're from, and that's up to you if you want to disclose that.
but the people who care about you would ask out of well-meant concern. as for strangers, nobody's gonna say anything, and in the extremely rare event that anyone does, let it slide. I've had to work in places with super short sleeves and such before, and I swim a lot and you eventually learn to roll with the punches and feel more comfortable exposing your skin.
also, sometimes children are curious, and in that event I usually say some shit about wrestling a bear or something. either they laugh or think you're weird, but it's better than nothing.

>>168704>>168701I just worry if black would be too harsh looking against my white skin.
Yeah, anon, skin cancer probably would suck, but I'm mostly going to be at an indoor pool.
I lather up when going outside in something revealing.
Speaking of skin cancer, how the fuck are tanning beds still legal, someone tell me??
No. 168711
>>168710I guess tanning beds are ok if you're a little naturally tan to begin with, and you don't overuse them. At the end of the day it's personal responsibility, like smoking.
Personally, I know a girl in real life who is 27 but no kidding looks mid 40s. She had DEEP lines across her forehead, under her eyes and on the edge of her lips. It's insane. She hates it, and tells people as soon as she meets them that she used to do a lot of tanning when she was younger, I guess so people won't assume she's older.
I feel so bad for her.

>>168707I love the wrestling a bear tip! I'm deffo going to use that one <3
I've been experimenting with waterproof tattoo covering makeup, and it works pretty well, so that's something you too might want to try out. But yeah, at the end of the day life is too short to worry what some random basic bitch will think about my scars. As long as my body is in good shape, those scars are nothing compared to the self harm of obesity.
