What do you guys work as?

Enjoy your job? Fucking loathe it?

What do you want to do in life?

I'm a camgirl, chose this job because I can stay home and choose my own hours.

Downside is people are quick to judge you for it.

Well, it doesn't mean you're a bad person or anything. You just like it I guess? As long as you're not lulzy and a cunt then it's fine I think.

I'm from the UK. I work as a cleaner, two cleaning jobs in offices they're only during the week and a good two/three hours. It's fairy easy to be honest and I prefer it over retail, I can't people and I hate dealing with people. I've worked retail before and it's depressing.

Cleaning I quite like, the pay is okay and I go to university during the day. So I work early mornings and evenings. Weekend off. No hassle, quick and easy.

You can position the camera to wear it doesn't show your face and be careful so it doesn't. Although guys tend to tip more when there is a face attached to the body. Personality always brings the tips in too.

My first time, in under 40 minutes I made $50. I didn't have any toys, bad lighting and I have an average body. But I got many compliments on how silly I was and on how pretty I am.

I signed up for both MFC and Chaturbate. I started chaturbate first since it's not a popularity contest like MFC is. If I ever start using MFC it will be after I'm well known.

if you don't mind me asking, does it creep you out when you think about who might be watching? Like some gross old guy or something idk.

No. 161505

>>161504
I guess a lot of people think that way, but you never have to see what the person on the other side of the screen looks like. Yeah you're gonna get your old creepy men, but you get men your age, girls your age, couples, etc. The only thing that bothers me is that people who hate me will watch me. That disturbs me a bit, but how much you make after an hour makes it worth it.

No. 161506

I am lucky enough to get a good amount of pocket change from translating and commissions.
I also (legally, licensed) work in a medical marijuana growth facility. Don't smoke it though.

Inspector. It's ok. I landed it out of a family connection but it pays p good and it's pretty stimulating.

I don't hate it, but i dislike my lead. Of all the people in the company i get stuck with the one whose the asshole.

>What do you want to do in life?

I don't know. I keep getting pestered to go into engineering but frankly I'm not interested in that at all. I like what I have going on now and just want to finish my associate so that I can plug away at it for awhile.

I'd like to visit alaska. I'm infatuated with it.

Anon from earlier who also doesnt smoke it:

Whats your reason for not doing it? I used to be a big pot head but I quit once money was low and I also had a terrible trip the last time I smoked. Personally I dont want to smoke again but if I did I would steer away from anything with high THC cus that shit fucks with me.

I work in fucking retail lmao. It's my first job outside of SYEP and used to pay well when min wage in NYC was only $7.25 but now it's meh and I've become a soulless void. I stick to it because I'm terrified of not having a job right out of college, and I don't expect a decent job in the field I wanna be in so even if it's retail, at least I have SOMETHING to pay off my loans with. Last year it made me so depressed because all I could think about is how my parents work in jobs they probably don't wanna work in (not retail tho), and while I can quit and still have a whole future ahead of me, they don't and it just made me incredibly upset. I force myself to stick through it to also put myself in their shoes and it really made me appreciate all the shit they do to spoil the hell out of me :(

I don't know what the hell I wanna do. Looking mostly at CIR for JET program for a couple years, maybe work at the U.N. once I stop sucking at my major.

>>161509

Nah, I understand you anon. I'm the anon who posted that they work as a cleaner.

Yeah, if you're paying off your loans atm and still searching for a job you like then it's okay. Just keep at it! I quit retail because of managers/depression/anxiety ect and cleaning is better as I don't have to interact and stress over someone's sandwich getting burnt to fuck in the oven.

I suppose it's just preference.

:( Yeah, I'm spoiled too anon. I'm sure they're proud of you either way though!

I start work tomorrow as an editor. It's a telecommuting position, so I can work at home in my PJ's or whatever. $15/hour, and I get to pick how many hours (between 10~30) I'd like to do each week. The only downside to this is that it's just a temp position, so I have a year to find something better. They required a relevant college degree and I think some writing samples? Also the whole process took a month, since they're a contractor for Google and have to follow their policies for employment.

At my job I sit in front of a computer monitoring alarms and responding to emergencies (which almost never happen) so really I read ebooks and browse the internet and watch Netflix. I also work 12 hour shifts so it feels like I never work.

I find my job depressing but I make $55/hr and it's a union job so I'll probably be here forever.

I always wanted to be a doctor (even did a shitload of related volunteering in high school) but I had a mental breakdown when I started college. I ended up going back to college for an associates degree in engineering that got me my current job.

Fuck this makes me angry. I'm so fucking jealous really. You should really appreciate your job, I'd kill 5 people and more for a job like that.

I'm a 21 year old fragile girl, work 12 hour and night/weekend shifts with mental and physical stress throughout the whole day.
My friends send me messages while they are working and later say "omg work was so stressful today". Shit I don't even have time to go the toilet or sit down for a few seconds let alone check my phone.
I honestly feel like I'm going to die before I hit 30. All I want is a nice and calm 8-5 job in an office or something.

I worked in renovation for two years with a family friend. Good money but working from 6 am to 10 pm almost everyday was killing me. Im also 5'1 and scrawny with some mental issues. I suggest finding something quick before you collapse. My wrists also got worse since I have tendonitis so there were times where I couldnt work for a few days because the pain was so intense. Keep your chin up anon

Midnight shift security. It's an easy as hell job and I enjoy it since I get plenty of other stuff done like paying bills, watching anime, playing video games, and exercising (except running). The only thing that sucks is…well, it's midnight shift. I have to take Ambien every day to sleep during the day since no other seems to help unless I go into benzo territory. I still wake up tired constantly and I miss a lot of what goes on during the day even if I get home and go straight to bed.

It's in my post. I have a 2 year associates degree in electrical engineering.

My job is boring and I have little job satisfaction. In china people work 20 hour days for $1/hr so you should be grateful and not complain either. I even said I was never leaving. All of my friends can't get a job at all or make less than $15/hr and work way harder than me so I do know I relatively have it good.

No. 161519

Guys you know how you could make a lot of money?

Well, first of all lets hope your folks like pets and are down with this idea or that you live in an apartment complex which allows dogs/cats.

Basically go on sites like craigslist/gumtree (if you're in UK) those kind of ad sites and go in the pet section.

Look for "free pets" and ask about them first before visiting the owner. Go, get the pet for free and keep it with you. Just look after it, water it, pet it, be nice ect. Make sure you've got stuff for the pet before hand like just buy some cheap stuff from the dollar store. You can pick up cheap dog/cat beds, bowls, food easily. Make sure the pet is healthy with papers and stuff btw.

Throw up an advert on another site after a few weeks or so. Sell off the pet for a few hundred, wait for a buyer and any offers you get take it.

You could easily make a shit load of money by doing this.

Just make sure the pet goes to a nice home, good owner beforehand.

Sorta related but do you think your Associates degree is as far as you'll go?

I'm back in CC finishing up a trade degree but I'm having a hard time envisioning myself going to university.

I would consider not doing it if you're not comfortable having naked videos and gifs of you on the internet for all eternity. Please be careful that there are no loose ends tying your personal SM accounts to your camgirl profile. There are lots of obsessive creeps on camgirl websites and there is a good chance they could try to doxx you if you aren't careful.

Also future employers could possibly find out if they run an extensive background check.

Just some things I regret not thinking about when I was briefly a camgirl.

I don't want to come off as too judgmental, but I'm always surprised people want to stop after their associates. It's worth as much as a hs degree (at least in nyc). Most people my age (24) that I've come across either finished with/going for their masters or preparing for their phD's

No. 161523

Yeah, but have they ever held a job that made use of their education?

No. 161524

>>161522
Also, being totally serious it's hard to go back once you leave.

An associate isn't hard to achieve it just takes time since community colleges are flexible. With a university you have to literally take years of your life and go to school that way which is just plain fucking hard without going into debt.

That's the scary part.

Eh do people really buy a dog or a cat for a few hundred if it isn't a breed or really cute?
And if it's a breed the owners rarely give them away for free.

However I've been thinking about breeding dogs a lot.
Those breeds are popular everywhere but nearly impossible to get in my country, like poms, corgies or shibas.
